Global Warming Religion

You know something has reached the status of a religion when a person will refuse to believe anything else no matter how much evidence to the contrary is presented.

I had a conversation with a person the other day about global warming. I brought up the fact that the same scientists who were so sure that CO2 is the cause of global cooling and who were declaring an ice age 40 years ago are now the ones saying it causes warming. Well it either causes or warming or cooling, but not both. This of course was not well received. All that matters is that we stop creating CO2. Forget about the trees that need it. Forget about the fact that it only makes up 3/1000's of a percent of the atmosphere that that we only contribute 1/1000th of that 3/1000's. this means that we are affecting the atmosphere of the earth with CO2 by only 3 parts out of a million planet wide. Yet we are causing a drastic turn in weather.

I would postulate that if you could prove that we were heading for an ice age unless we burned all the fossil fuel we could find and create all the CO2 we could by whatever means necessary to avert it that people would still stand in the way of doing so. This is because it is not science it is now a religion. People simply can't go against their religion or at least they won't.

It has already been proven that the scientists who have been trying to shove this religion down our throats were making up the numbers and cooking the books so to speak. Yet people will not leave this behind. If we have the coldest temperatures world wide in almost a 100 years, what do people say? It's because of global warming. It doesn't matter what kind of logic it defies this is the answer for all of man's doings on the earth. Things are cooler because of warming. With this logic the best thing you could do on a hot summer day is turn the heat up in your house to over 100 degrees then so you can cool it off. Or if it happens to be winter turn the heat down as low as it will go and leave all the doors and windows open so you can get your house nice and toasty.

For some reason people will immediate recognize how absurd this is but will still continue to stick to their tired reasoning that this is exactly what is happening on earth.

Let's use a little common sense people. Don't let yourself be intimidated into silence, or worse yet agreement with the politically correct global warms just because it sounds compassionate. Expose the absurdity of their arguments! They don't base what they are saying on either real science or common sense. The scientists have already admitted they were lying so they could continue to get more funding. As always it's all about the money.

Most people today are too young to remember the days of gas frenzy and the long waiting lines in the 1970's. We were told, again by scientists that there was only enough oil left in the whole world to last 30 years at the most and thus began the gas panic. Well here we are 40 years later and there is no word whatever that we are squeezing out the last drops of oil in the world so that we can drive a few more miles.

It is amazing how quickly the media and the scientists want to drop such things as these because if they bring them up it means we may not trust the high priests of the religion of science.

Yes to a large degree I believe science has become very much like a religion. Does this mean that science has nothing to offer? By no means, but at the same time we should not think of scientists as being altruistic people motivated only by logic and research. The church has had a bad reputation for a very long time for not believing the world was round and going after scientists who said it was, well the same mindset now exists only in the opposite direction. It is now scientists who are lying to us and they go after anyone with a vengeance who dares question their edicts.

Scientists are no more above being questioned in the pronouncements than are pastors or priests. If they are found to be wrong we should not continue to believe these prophets. We should not continue to seek them out for further oracles. If they are found to be corrupt and not stating the facts as they are, but making them up then we should pay them no mind.

Many are still so bitter at the church and religion that they are more than willing to stand solidly behind science no matter how absurd their declaration. Show the same skepticism toward scientists that you are willing to show toward the church. Question honestly your scientists as much as you question the church.

Rights Do Not Obligate

It is clear too many people do not understand what rights are. It may be debated whether the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness are the only "rights" granted by the created, but I believe our founding fathers who have shown themselves to be far wiser than any of our current batch of representatives could ever hope to be had a good handle on it.

They understood that first and foremost rights are something granted by God. Second, rights are not something that require action on other people's parts. All that rights require from others is inaction. It is not up to others to make sure we are happy. It is not up to others to make sure we have life. It is also not up to others to make sure that we are at liberty. All any of these rights require is that others do not take action to take away our liberty. If they take no action against us we will be at liberty. If they take no action they will in no way interfere with our happiness. If others take no action attacking us or trying to take our lives then we will have life so long as we are healthy.

It is not up to others to make sure we are healthy. It is not up to others to make sure we are free. It is incumbent on them to make sure they do not take our free. In this they are restricted. Again it should be note that our rights if anything put restrictions on others to prevent them from interfering. They do not put restrictions or obligations on others to take action.

Our rights never put obligations on others to act. The only obligation inflicted on others for us to maintain our rights is the obligation of inaction.

Today we have a government that feels that they give us rights not our create. In many cases the do not even recognize the creator. They are as determined as possible to make sure that the creator is never mentioned. Here they are again taking action and thus interfering with our right to freedom of religion.

The constitution in no way binds the hands of the federal government or employees thereof from mentioning God, Jesus Christ, or even the more generic creator. This in no way indicates the government forcing religion on us. What the constitution says is that CONGRESS shall pass no laws. Yet this is exactly what they constantly do, pass laws preventing the free exercise of religion in any venue where there might even be a federal employee present. This is not what the constitution ever meant! It also never meant for the government to be forced to provide churches for the people or to pass laws forcing such a thing. The constitution simply prohibits them from passing laws regarding religion. This is a very important distinction and one that is all too often disregarded.

It is very similar with guns. We are too busy looking at people's motives where guns are concerned; what they might do with this freedom or what they might do with the guns as though what they did with the right is enough of a reason to interfere with it.

The left especially seems to feel their right is to inflict upon us to be responsible for everyone else's decisions instead of just letting people be responsible for themselves. It is not my responsibility or anyone else's responsibility to make sure I make what they consider good choices. The only exception to this would be children, in which case it is the responsibility of the parents to train up their children to be responsible for the decisions they make as well as to own the consequences of those decisions. The consequences of our decisions should be the responsibility of others to bear.

The government would have us believe this and because of this they understand "rights" to mean that we are obligated to take care of those who make bad decisions and are now suffering the consequences of those decisions. Compassion demands this, but the government cannot and should not put such a demand on us.

We must begin to bear the responsibility of our own choices and actions. We must, as they say, man up! We must put government back in the box it was meant to be in even if it means that something maybe be a bit harder on us. I for one would rather have things a little harder and have my freedom than having someone tell me what I can eat, whether I can smoke or grow a certain tree in my yard or add another house on my own property because some snail lives there.

We the people must stop the madness. We must remember that in the United States the government only governs by the consent of the people and we CAN withdraw our consent and get rid of these people.

Can anyone honestly say that Barbara boxer, Lynn Woolsey, Dianne Feinstein or any of the many other representatives we have in California have actually done even a sufficient enough job that should have voted them back in office. We need to find new people who actually will protect our freedoms not erode them in the name of some false compassion. They find it very easy to be compassionate with OUR money!

Enough I say!

Congress Going Crazy Again

Once again we have a congress using another "emergency" as an excuse to expand a bill to almost 2000 pages because, gee, something has to be done about the taxes!

The worst thing is that it looks as though the republicans may be willing to go along with it. Can you say, back to your old tricks again? These people really don't get it.

The bill should be about the issue that the bill is about and nothing else. If it needs other things to get it passed then that means that it's not really something that should be voted on? If you have to buy the votes quite literally then we should be considering whether its something we ought to be voting for at all.

I wonder how many bills would ever pass if they had to stick to nothing but the subject of the bill they were discussing in the bill itself. I also can't help but wonder how much shorter and more readable they would become.

I can help but think there would be little point to passing the bills if they didn't get something out of it for themselves. This alone shows the level of their corruption.

For some reason the democrats find it very easy to stick to their socialist communist platform and continue to go after what they want no matter what the American people want; I wonder why the republicans can't stick to theirs in spite of overwhelming support for what we want and what they say they stand for? The only possible explanation is that covertly they want the same things the democrats want. They have certainly not made a very big showing of doing what the people want no matter how many opportunities we continue to give them.

I suppose like the democrats they are finally seeing the goal of a socialist America in front of them where our votes and wants no longer matter and so they, like the democrats are pressing toward the finish line now knowing there's not much we can do to stop them now.

There are a few of the new republicans speaking out about this issue and a few of the more conservative republicans speaking out, but for the most part they are more like the fringe than what the party really stands for.

We've already had our elections and for the most part republicans and democrats alike are ignoring what the people have made clear they want. I'm not sure what is left that we can do.

The democrats certainly aren't afraid of going for everything they can right because they know after this they're not going to get another chance for a long time to come. I'm a bit surprised they didn't push through even more of their communist/socialist agenda items while they still had the chance, but then I suppose they have to think they've done more than enough damage to the nation to make it collapse which seems to be their primary goal.

One way or another we need to let our non-representing representatives know what they continue to due with the 2000 page bills they haven't even read themselves needs to stop. It is almost like it's become a joke to them to pass things without reading them. After it came out they were doing that with the health care bill and several others and they still got them passed I suppose they figured they could do it with every bill and just deal with the fall out after they're passed.

Though Americans were not happy about what they did for the most part we have found ourselves powerless to stop those things from happening or from become law. Now we are stuck with them and the power of the veto makes it so we will continue to be stuck with them till it is too late and they are fully implemented.

We need to shut down Washington with so many phone calls to every number we can find that they can't get any business done till they begin to pay attention to us the people of America. They get their power from the consent of the people and all we have to do is withdraw that consent and by definition they don't have any power and maybe that's what we should be considering at this point.

Presidential/Congressional Communism

There is still no news of the taxes and what is going to happen with them. Surely the president, the administration, and the congress must know how potentially devastating this is to the economy. I can't help but wonder if they're not posturing for how they can then blame big business for not spending and completely ignore the fact that people in business are not going to spend large amounts of money without knowing the bottom line. It seems to be nothing less than posturing.

Our leaders are playing political games with our livelihoods. They seem not to really care about the average American at all and are most certainly both completely out of touch as well as having a communist/socialist agenda they are promoting. As with most socialists and communists they are not really concerned with the good of the people they are really concerned with the reins of power and with passing their communist/socialist agendas.

I believe there are now some in congress who are actually concerned about the American people, but I also believe their numbers are pitifully small and will probably, in the next congress, not have as much influence as we wish they would.

Hope is still alive in our nation, but I do not believe this is hope in God. For the nation to hope in the leaders to do what is best for the people I do not believe is terribly realistic. People are not facing the reality of how many progressive/communist/socialist non-representing representatives we have in place in the government now.

Every one is so afraid of being called a MacCartheyist or of not being open minded or any number of other politically correct terms that are constantly used to silence the voice of reason in this nation that no one will call these people what they are and so the nation continues to prefer to believe they are not really communists and socialists.

Everyone keeps pretending these leaders just really don't get what we want or don't know what we want. They most certainly know, they simply don't care.

The propaganda that is now starting to come out of the media is almost unbelievable. I heard a man on Fox News today simply make up some facts and polls and declare that the American people don't care if their taxes go up or even want them to go up. He almost got away without even being called on it. Once he was called on it he still tried to lie his way through it. When that failed and he was called on it again he started choking and gagging. It was as though he never expected anyone to actually call him on his lies.

Had no one called this man on his lies I have little doubt that many would have accepted what he said as the truth and started thinking that they must be the odd man out who just doesn't want their taxes raised. This is the way that propaganda works. It is designed to make EVERYONE think they are the only way that thinks the way they're thinking. It is designed to make them think that maybe they should reconsider their position.

This is only another aspect of communist/socialist/totalitarian governments.

We need to wake up. If we don't call things what they are we won't be able to deal with them. those who are exercising themselves in these things will continue as long as no one says anything and this is what they count on. When no one says anything again everyone starts to think they are the odd man out and no one else really feels that way.

Trust your judgment. Trust that what you see going on really is going on and SAY SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Obama, Inept, Stupid, Incable, or Intentional

I am amazed at the number of adjectives used to describe Obama, but not one of them seems to meet up with the reality. Both the media and the people of this nation would rather believe Obama is either stupid, inept, incapable, or any number of other word describing his lack of efficacy.

What no one is saying, and what needs to be said, is that Obama is not any of these things. All of these things depend on an assumption that our president is behind the United States and wants to see it succeed. What no one will willing to consider is that all the destructive things happening under the president's watch are things he WANTS to happen.

Our president wants to see the economic collapse of our nation. It has already been shown that he has many links to Saul Alinski, and by his own admission he has sought out Marxists and revolutionaries. This was not only during his "foolish" college days. He still has almost nothing but socialists, communists, and revolutionaries surrounding him. These are the people he picks for his Czars.

It is not that he was unaware of their histories or backgrounds when he chose them. He chose them BECAUSE of their backgrounds. He knows full well what he's doing and what he wants to accomplish. the thing we don't want to see is that the things he wants to accomplish are not the things we want him to accomplish.

Oh he wants to work on the accompany; it is just that the work he's about is destroying it. Almost everything he's done or anything he's been behind has hurt the economy and he is doing everything he can to make sure no one turns back a single thing he's put in place that's causing all the damage.

I believe he earnestly believes what he's doing is for the best of the nation, but good intention, and misguided Marxist philosophy should not be excused or mistaken for any of the adjective mentioned at the beginning of this article. Everyone should be quite clear that what he's doing is intentional. It is not that he has a disconnect from the American people. He knows what we want. He is not stupid. He simply doesn't care what we want. He believes the Marxist way is the better way and is determined that we're going to have it or something as close to it as possible if he has to shove it down our throats.

Even now the lame duck congress is still doing everything it can to shove as many more spending and appropriates down our throats that they can.

Obama has no or little regard for the constitution. He feels that the negative rights and limitations on the government are the problem with the constitution. He has stated before that he feel the constitution ought to state what the government MUST do for us. In saying this he shows his disdain for the constitution he swore to defend and protect. Clearly this oath means little or nothing to the president. I can only surmise that he sees at least one of his duties as president to do everything he can to change that and make the constitution about what the government can tell the people to do for their own good.

Before we can hope to do anything about the problem we need to recognize what the problem is. The problem is not stupidity on the part of Obama it is very intentional. We need to stop using words like progressive which makes it sound either like a milder version of socialism or even worse just another strain of democrat.

We need to stop being afraid to call things by the perfectly good words we already have to describe them. Obama is a socialist, Marxists or communist. USE THE WORD. Don't let them intimidate you into yet more politically correct speech which doesn't address the problem. Demand they start calling themselves what they are and demand that the media does the same thing.

Obama, A Genius, a Bumbler, or a Communist

I am every amazed that so many people keep debating about how much Obama knows about the economy. What they keep telling themselves is that Obama thinks about the economy the way the rest of the country does. They believe he wants the economy to succeed and be vibrant.

No one wants to face the issue of his socialist/communist leanings. If they are considering these leanings they must assume that he is an American communist and there for only slightly different from an American capitalist. This only shows how little people understand the difference.

As a communist Obama believes this country needs to be fundamentally changed. We should not have a free market or a constitution. His departure from the American culture is so severe that no one can bring themselves to believe he really thinks this way.

I believe in part this is due to the fact that no one wants to admit that they were part of electing a communist to the post of president of the United States. No one can fathom a president who is actually out to destroy the United States. I do not believe anyone recognizes just how committed to his socialist and communist leanings Obama is.

For some reason we do not want to take Obama, Pelosi, or Reid at their words. These people firmly believe the American people are little more than sheep who need to be lead into the better economic system of socialism. they all firmly believe this is best. If any of these people were really against these forms of government they would not make it such a point to surround themselves with people who are known communists and socialists.

The saying birds of a feather flock together has a very valid point. People do tend to hang around and make friends with people of similar world views. There is little doubt that many of us have friends who have strongly opposing views and yet the friendship is quite real. This does not mean that we would pick those people to help us make policy if we were in government and wanted to get things done that matched with our political world view. Again, this is simply reasonable yet for some reason no one will say.

All I can say is that we need to wake up and realize the communist party and the socialist party in the United States is far more than a small group of disorganized people. they are highly organized, well funded, and quite militant about getting their agendas passed.

All you need to do is look at the means used by Pelosi, Obama and Reid to get health care and so many other things passed.

They now recognize that they will no be able to continue the march toward communism after January and so it seems they are determined to try to pass as much more of their agenda as they can before the end of their lame duck session.

I will be clear again. They are not doing this because of external pressure as some media would have to believe. they do not feel pressured by the far left to do these things. They ARE the far left. When the elections were over Pelosi declared it a victory and many thought she was out of her mind instead of asking what she was thinking when she said that. She was trying to tell the nation that at last they had purged the democrat party in Washington of all the moderates. They know how people who are for the most part in lock step regarding their agenda. They will work as one and they will control the way the media presents what they do.

Even though they will now become the "party of no" and the obstructionists, there will not be a single word in the media about this. Instead the conservatives will be the ones to be made to look like the bad guys who are trying to ruin the nation by turning things back.

As for Obama, he has already signaled that he will continue with his agenda. He is going to do everything he can to bring this country to its knees economically and remove it from its position as the number 1 world power. He indeed perceives our nations as an evil empire. He thinks we are trying to subject the nations of the world. Just because people want what we have, want what we sell and what our freedom he assumes this is a manipulative way of taking over the nations of the world.

Obama needs to be opposed at every possible opportunity. The man displays almost every trait of a narcissist. It is so severe that he could not even take someone making fun of his ears, or publishing anything that does not show him in the best light. If anyone does this he is going to do everything he can to make their lives miserable.

Look what he did to Joe the plumber. There was a woman reporter to made fun of his ears, and while in Louisiana he gave clear instructions that all the coverage was to be positive. He wanted everyone to appear to be supporting him and for the most part that happened. None of this information ever seems to make it out and by the time it does it's simply a distraction now much appreciated by Obama for something else he's trying to do.

If you look at everything Obama has done, not even the left has actually defended it as being good for the economy. Their defense is that it shows they care, or that it is helping people in need. They never even attempt to show or prove that it will be good for the economy. Instead they prefer the term good for the country meaning good for those receiving the benefits. Again the media never covers things this way.

When you listen to the communists/socialists (who now prefer the name progressives and which name the right has been suckered into using) listen very carefully to what they are saying. Understand they are telling you what they're going to do even as Obama plainly stated that spreading the wealth around was good. it's just that no one wants to believe he means this in a communist/socialist way. The same is true of Pelosi and Reid.

Listen carefully and keep in mind what communists and socialists believe. Progressives are nothing like democrats, in fact they as often to be republicans as democrats. They are not truly members of the parties of which they pretend to be a part.

Communists and Socialists are now in the highest posts in the land. Indeed we have on in THE highest post in the land.

You would think this would count as treason. Indeed Washington felt this so strongly that as far as he was concerned anyone who even remotely believed in a monarchy should be ejected from the presidency on grounds of treason. That form and many others are directly opposed to the constitution to which they sword allegiance and protection.

Where is the ACLU?

I suppose this is just one more reason I detest the ACLU. They seem only to support causes that will fundamentally destroy the fabric of our nation. They are very quick to protect the rights of muslims, even known terrorists, but where are they when our 4th amendment rights are being taken from us in the form of illegal searches. We are supposed to be secure in our persons from unreasonable search. This means there must be some compelling reason or evidence of guilt for them to be able to search us. If you are stopped by an officer for speeding he does not have the right to search your car or even your person unless he has reasonable cause. To say that anyone and everyone may be a terrorist is to say that anyone and everyone can be searched at any time.

Right now that only includes at airports, but how long before it spreads to everyone no matter where you are or what you're doing. Will they be saying before long that you may be a terrorist or a danger tot the public and as such demand to be able to search you and see your papers? Will they be demanding authorization to be out at certain times of the day or night. Will they be threatening fines or jail time if you don't comply with random searches? Isn't this what they're doing right now at the airports? These are random searches. They have no reason to suspect you in specific yet they demand you submit to a search or suffer up to $11,000 in fines and possible arrest.

Our government has taken the first major step toward intimidating the people to submit to anything they demand and are completely ignoring the 4th amendment under the guise of keeping us safe from terrorists.

What have we become if we are safe from terrorists but not from our own government?

Presumed Guilty

Is this Russia we're living in. The threats are severe and you are assumed to be guilty before you even start the process. Just showing up to take a plane locks you into the process and if you decide you just want to forget it you can find yourself getting an $11,000 fine and possibly being arrested. Does this sound like America. You have to submit to a search with no warrant, you are assumed to be guilty, you are threatened with fines and possible jail if you don't comply and give up your 4th amendment rights.

Have we forgotten that those rights were given to us by our creator and cannot be taken away by men or governments. We need to begin acting in civil disobedience.

Send 1000's to the airports.... refuse to be search and demand to be processed till they realize how absurd it is. Some people are saying we need to petition the government but it is already clear that they don't care what we want.

Some outrage and civil disobedience needs to be put out there because at this point the media is finding incredibly too easy to simply ignore what is happening to our 4th amendment rights. The media is no longer the watchdog of the government, they are the lapdog of the government.

Unreasonable search and seizure is clearly prohibited by the 4th amendment. This should not even be a matter of debate. There should not be any search made on any citizen unless there is reasonable to cause to suspect that individual. To search everyone is to presume guilt which also flies int he face of our legal citizens. It seems that illegal citizens and terrorists now enjoy more rights than do the very citizens of our nation.

I'm not sure why this issue has exploded all off a sudden. These searches have been going on for a long time with not a word from the press. Now it seems to be a subject they can't talk enough about.

Every time in the past the media has become stuck on something it turned out Obama and the Administration were busy doing many other things while the public was distracted. I cannot help but wonder what Obama and his administration are trying to pass now a they enjoy the cover of the airplane searches.

As for the searches at airports you would think that is the only place a terrorist can or will attack. No one seems able to articulate just how this would help us. All the other bomb attempts would not have been stopped with such measures, though they could have been stopped simply by checking the no fly list or listening to the terrorist's father who reported him.

Yet for some reason they would rather offend our 4th amendment rights, clearly laid out in the constitution than do a little profiling. We certainly wouldn't want to discriminate against a terrorist, after all this might make them hate us? Oh silly me, they already do.

We have a president and administration that seems bother with almost every aspect of the constitution. They have worked very hard at taking away many of our property rights, our right to be free of unreasonable search, our freedom of speech to use such words as the "N" word, and now the "W" word. If it wasn't so serious it would be comical; adults using letters and spelling so the "kids" won't know what's being said.

Americans ought to start showing civil disobedience to these things, but our wonderful leaders so control the conversation that they frame these things from some moral high ground, they themselves don't abide by. It is like making people feel guilty to criticize welfare because it must mean you don't care about the poor or want to see them starve. If you criticize these searches then you must not care about safety. If you speak of God then you are "Forcing" your religion on someone. These an many more things have been taken to new heights of absurdity.

We need to find our spine and our voices again! We need to make it abundantly clear that the government has become far too overbearing. They need to restrain themselves to what is in the constitution and nothing more.

Clueless in Washington

It is amazing, bewildering and disconcerting all at the same time who 3 of the most powerful people in the country can be so completely clueless as to why there was a such a large swing in the power in Washington. It is also hard to believe that 2 of the people who are biggest architects of the things that have angered Americans have managed to stay in power.

It would seem staying in power has caused them to rethink nothing at all. They take it as a vindication and support of the policies and bills they passed. For the most part not one of these 3 people, the President, Pelosi, or Reid, have any clue as to why people don't like their policies. They think it is only because we don't understand the wonderful things they've given us.

I personally have a different take on it than this. You cannot rise to some of the highest positions in the nation and be dumb and clueless. They don't mind being viewed as dumb as long as they manage to get their agendas passed. It is for this reason that Pelosi is planning on staying in congress. She is determined to do everything she can to rally the extreme leftists against anything the republicans would try to do to repeal the health care law they worked so hard to pass event though they did it through unconstitutional methods, which for some reason was completely glossed over by everyone in the media.

It is my hope that the American people will do everything they can to hold this new congress's feet to the fire and make sure they do what we sent them there for.

We need to be on top of everything they talk about doing as much now as we did before. There are still many in Washington that are clueless. I'm sure that many of the republicans and most of the democrats will try to pretend they're now doing everything with us in mind thinking we've gone back to sleep, but wasn't this what they were doing before.

We need to confront the socialism, communism or what they are now calling progressivism at every turn. The feds are about to take steps that will not only ruin our economy but quite possibly the economies of the world. Glenn Beck was speaking today about how when this begins they will call for a global economy and this is now what we're watching. I already read today in the news that China was saying that we needed to have a different global economy.

If this should happen we will no longer be in charge of our own nation. Everyone know that the ones that control the money are the ones that control the sovereignty of a nation.

Washington would have us believe they are clueless to what we want, but the reality is far different. It's not that they are clueless it's that they are philosophically, diametrically opposed to what we believe in. maybe not all of them, but many of them. Progressives view the United States as an evil empire imposing its will on the rest of the world. They view capitalism as evil and in need of being removed.

What our leaders have been doing has not been because they are clueless so much as their beliefs and way of looking at the United States is quite different from the American people. Now if you call this clueless, then yes they are clueless, but I believe it is must worse than that. Their intents toward this nation are evil, at least from our point of view, from their perspective these changes are the best for the world, because they view themselves more as world citizens than as Americans. In many cases I would say they are embarrassed to call themselves Americans. For this reason we need to continue to confront them at every turn till their actions match what the people want and not what they want for the people.

Poor Dumb Americans

You really have to wonder why anyone would watch or listen to some of these liberal shows. Once again we had Bill Press going on and on about how dumb Americans are because they decided not to vote for all the incumbents and keep all the people in government that were already there, I suppose so they can continue to do what they've been doing.

It would seem the tolerant left is not very tolerant of "dumb" people. I'm further surprised they didn't use their own politically correct speak and call us all mentally challenged. I suppose though that you only have to be "sensitive". When you're winning and you're the one handing something out to the "little people"... I'm sorry vertically challenged people.

What bill press had to say was flatly insulting to all Americans, but then I'm being stupid again. What he really meant wasn't that Americans are stupid but only that people who vote for non-democrats are stupid.

It's amazing how much the party that likes to pretend it's about unity through diversity, and has the "Great Unifier" at it's head seems to be able to do nothing but try to divide people and make them angry at one another. Certainly people like Bill Press are very angry people... of course from their perspective that would actually make him a hater and a bigot. He clearly harbors a great deal of hate and intolerance for anyone who doesn't believe and vote the way he does.

As Juan Williams pointed out after being fired from NPR, he never realized before that just how intolerant and hateful the liberals could be till it happened to him. I have a feeling he had a real epiphany when that happened which can't help but make him a much better reporter.

It is a shame that some of these people like Bill Press can't have such a teachable moment. But then that's a stupid and intolerant thing to say, and it must be bigoted, hateful and racist, after all we're both white... What you don't think that makes sense.... neither do any of their absurd accusations of similar fashion. If disagreeing makes you racist, bigoted, hateful, and intolerant, then it is clear that everyone in our nation is such. I can't believe Bill Press would use the "S" word like that... funny our there are so many words in the English language we can't use any more except to mention them by their first letter.

Voter Fraud

It seems as though we now accept voter fraud the way we do lying politicians. We all know they do, there's nothing we can do about it and the best we can do is vote for the one who sounds like he's going to do what we want whether he is or not. We are now in a very similar place with voter fraud. We have people stealing elections through voter fraud and yet no one gets prosecuted for doing it. We knew it was happening with Obama, we have known that it has happened with many other elections and yet the election stands even after it comes out that it was done and that the person really shouldn't have won.

doesn't this make a mockery of our constitution and our freedoms. While our leaders all swear to uphold and defend the constitution it seems when it works to their benefit not to they simply ignore it as though it doesn't exist. It seems that both sides by agreement are determined to do nothing about voter fraud.

Sadly the entire election process has almost become a joke. The media has determined to jump in and side with the democrats for the most part and have been caught in saying specifically that they are going to, and have plans to engage in smear campaigns against those they are against. Even when caught in the admission they simply say what you heard meant something else and it is as though that is the end of it. Certainly they don't have to continue to report on themselves and their own shortcomings. Since they certainly are not going to rat themselves out and because they know the American people have the attention span of hamsters the issue goes away till the next time it comes up. In this way each situation is treated as though it stands on it's own and therefore insignificant.

The lies and deception continue to be covered up. There is no reminder of the Justices that Governor Brown appointed when he was the governor of California the last time, nor of the way he ignored and even flaunted the law and constitution of California because he disagreed with the death penalty. No ruler under our constitution has the right to ignore the law any more than any other citizen. If they don't like the law they need to get it changed.

When the Alaska media was confronted with what they were planning on doing their response was that they had a discussion about their level of professionalism. This goes way beyond an issue of professionalism. This becomes an issue of credibility. If the people do not begin to require more from the media they will continue to degrade in their reporting seeking only their piece of the power pie. They have often been called the 4th branch of government and they seem to view themselves as just that.

For some reason the liberals find their voice to protest and be outraged even when they have nothing to be really outraged about yet for some unknown reason conservatives tend to be much more like sheep and just accept what happens with barely a word.

If we do not find our voice on these things soon we will find our liberties and choices gone forever never to be retrieved.

Consider for a moment the Barbara Boxer machine and the Brown machines. It does not seem to matter what they've done in the past. I am fairly certain that there is not 1 in 50 people who is gong to vote for them who could tell you one specifically good thing they have done for the state. This being the case, why cling to them. They have clearly done nothing to stand out among the crowd as people worthy of one of the highest honors in the land.

VOTE THEM OUT. If it turns out you don't like the new people we can always get rid of the, but it's time we made them realize that THEY WORK FOR US. not the other way around.

Let's get these people out of office. I would rather, by far, have a person in office who didn't know all the ins and outs of politics but was a person of character.

Let's get some fresh faces in House and the Senate.

Are you really happy about high your taxes are? Who gave those high taxes to you? Certainly not the new people running.

Do you really think that taxing the rich people more will in any way lower your taxes? When was the last time you saw your taxes go down in any significant way?

The people we have in office now are the ones responsible for the taxation and ridiculous laws we have. Whether they wrote them or not they have certainly done nothing to get rid of them and for this reason alone if no other we ought to get them out of office.

This is our chance to get rid of much of the dead weight in our government.

Please understand I'm not saying this is all at the feet of the democrats. It is at the feet of the Progressives and they exist in both parties. They are entrenched and are already training up new people at lower levels so you will continue to feel they are the only choice you have.

Our founders meant our nation to be a place where the common man, the mechanic, the salesman, the plumber, and the farmer could represent us to the government and they would probably be the best one. Not these people who have never even held a real job in their lives.

We don't necessarily need people with Harvard educations, or genius IQ's we need people with common sense who understand the needs of the people they serve and will faithfully represent them.

AGAIN I SAY, THROW THE BUMS OUT!

Equal Justice? Not in this Administration

It is interesting how they insist the health care plan they have forced on us is going to be nothing but good for us... and gee, we need to pass it so we can find out what's in it. Then as soon as it's going to prove a hardship on some businesses just before the election the Administration decides to grant a waiver to certain companies so they don't have to suffer under the restrictions of the new plan and have it all over the news just before the election.

People are so happy, including the media to see them holding off that no asks just how it is that anyone can just decide to waive a law that was legally passed, but only for certain people. Isn't this against the constitution?

So now the administration can use this law as a hammer to punish those it wants while letting other companies off the hook if they decide to play ball. For some reason none of the media including Fox News is making any issue of this at all. Why do they remain silent? Are they secretly hoping they'll be exempted from the law as well?

What is going on when a congress can pass a law, the president signs it and then the president can just decide that certain people don't have to follow the law? This is wrong ethically, morally and constitutionally, but hey this is an election year so I suppose it's ok!!

This is what we get for electing people to offices who have no ethics, character or virtue. It is time to get these people out of office. To keep them in office is to continue to get more of the same. It is clear in their minds that the rules only apply to some people and they're the ones who get to decide who those people are.

Throw these bums out of office as quickly as you can before they decide to come after you unless you play their game.

Terrorists Defined!

Why do we persist in our politically correct terms? Who is it that actually decides what we can call people or what words we're going to use to define something.

Consider that we refuse to use the words for terrorists that we ought to be using... Muslims. Do you know of a single case of christian Terrorism, or Buddhist terrorism, or any other religion for that matter? It is for this reason I say that we either ought to call it by the religion doing it or we ought to call it by the nation doing it. We need to show some stones about this issue and get serious about it. Instead of defining the people by the act and always calling them nothing more than terrorists because he use terrorism, we ought to call them what they are and say, the Muslims attacked this or that place.

We are so afraid of offending the religion and everyone seems to accept the media and politically correct speak that Islam is basically a peaceful religion it is sickening. Do we have radicals in other religions committing acts of terrorism all over the world? Do we have even a small core of people from other religions recruiting for the sake of subjugating the rest of the world in the name of their religion. If any of those religions experiences on the rare case a person (singular) who does such a thing does not the rest of the religion immediately state their objection to what that one individual did and really condemn it; not merely express sorry for the victims?

This entire situation is peculiar only to Islam but we all pretend it is not. Millions of people engaging in terrorist attacks from just one religion is not longer the exception, it is the norm. Why is it that no one seems to investigate the writings of the Koran and tell us what it really says? The reason is because they know if they did that every one would quickly see just what Islam stands for and where it is going. This is a religion that openly and extensively threatens to kill people for simply insulting their religion or even making fun of its prophet and the rest of the world feels it has no right to criticize this. The reason for this is that they would like to pretend they are not already terrorized when in fact they are.

They try to hide under the sophistry that they are above the fray and won't enter into denigrating another religion. Of course in the next breath they are breathing all kind of hatred and disdain for Christianity. Even in this no one will recognize the hypocrisy.

Let us face reality and start calling the Muslims what they are... Terrorists... instead of implying that only this particular terrorist is a Muslim rather we should say this Muslim did this or that. We can always differentiate for all the other vast number of cases when it is another religion. I'm sure we'll see lots of those reports. It is insane.

You can't fight an enemy you won't identify

The Recession is Over?

More propaganda… I'm not sure where he dug up these people but it seems that Obama has found some economists who are willing to say the most ridiculous things. They saying that the recession ended in June of 2009. They say this based on an economic description of the end of a recession. To an economist this is when an economy shows 2 consecutive quarters of Growth. If this happened in 2009 then why did it take them more than a year to discover this fact. Weren't these numbers out in July of 2009? Yet the media doesn't question the numbers at all or how they came up with them; instead they resort to what it feels like and the rate of unemployment. It would seem those in the media don't have enough common sense to determine that what these guys are trying to feed us is nothing more than propaganda.

These things ought to be challenged by the media, but they cannot be bothered to do their own research or be truly educated on these things so instead they just behave like the talking heads they are. They simply continue to spit out whatever they are told as though it was the truth. It is certainly not the truth but it ought to make anyone wonder how they only discovered these numbers now. They ought to be asking these guys why they're just coming out with this revelation now only a little more than a month out from the elections?

Even if it were the case that the technical term for recession and its end were 2 months in a row of positive growth what about all the intervening months and was there growth then? What about the definition for what makes a recession? Did we fall back into one? I think it may be the case, but of course no one is reporting any of this because they don't seem to know how to use Google, or the encyclopedia.

To say that GDP went up cannot be the only thing we look at. To do that is too view it in a vacuum in which it doesn't exist. During that same period of time national debt skyrocketed. Think of it this way. It is as much as to say the economy of a household is looking much better because the husband got a slight raise but ignoring the fact that the household spending so outstrips that raise that things are far worse now then they were before.

Obama would have us ignore these other facts and realized that due to a couple of quarters of Growth in GDP that he could declare an end to the recession. This is nothing more than misdirection. It is ignoring the fact that our spending has so outstripped the growth in our economy that it is worse than it was before by far! Some GDP models include the spending as part of their calculation but some do not. Since no information of which model was being used to declare the recession over has been stated we are only left to wonder which one their using. This too is another thing the media can't be bothered to find out.

It seems that both they and we are so eager to hear any shred of good news that we're willing to accept whatever they tell us even though we know it defies common sense. This is supposed to be the job of the media. They are supposed to find out these things for us and to help explain them for those not familiar with the concepts, but once again we have a media that is asleep at the wheel.

By all means do not believe what the media tells you when they tell you the recession is over. If all they can do is make the statement with the simplest of explanations that it is two quarters with positive GDP and no further explanation then you can be sure they haven't looked into it at all and are simply reporting what they were told in some sound bite.

We need people who will begin to do their own research and be truly investigative like we had during WaterGate. Consider how quickly they dropped the investigation of Sestak bribery situation.

Vote For the Candidate Not the Party

It is interesting that since O'Donnell has won, every media outlet including Fox News Continues to run all the things that are wrong with O'Donnell. Clearly the Republican party can be as relentless in their attacks as the Democrats. The only problem is that democrats are only on the attack against republicans while republicans can only show zeal and great offense against their own. When it comes to the opposition they are mealy mouthed. It has turned into a show. The democrats say there is a civil war within the republican ranks and I believe there are right. The only time republicans stand for their own is when they are part of the "good ole boys" club. If you're not a member then the sign reads, "Need Not Apply".

I have yet to hear a good report from the media defending O'Donnell, but then again I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Rather than do their own research they simply get the enemies and friends of a person on to give their spin. I am so tired of spin at this point! The worst thing is that it is everywhere. Even O'Reilly on Fox News has given up referring to his show as the "no spin zone". I suppose he recognizes that he too has a lot of spin and that is just part of the news business.

Where is the real investigative reporting. Fox News, the lone news station willing to say something different than the rest of the media, seems to take the attitude that to criticize someone is being biased no matter how deserved and the rest of the media are determined to protect one point of view and one party no matter how ill deserved it may be. What an insane world we live in.

It is beginning to look like the republicans can no more be trusted to be conservative than the democrats can be trusted not to be socialists and communists.

It is for this reason that what we really need to do is support the person not the party. Both parties are failing us left and right. I find it amazing that only one senator supported Christine O'Donnell out of all of them, and the rest of them seem to be on the attack against her. They all say they want her to win and then busy themselves explaining to everyone all the reasons she won't or can't win. They also have to get in all the jabs of all her shortcomings. At least this has been the case in every instance with Carl Rove. It is like it is more important to him now to defend why he said what he said than it is to see a republican in there.

He and others talk about how important every seat is and then the most the republican party can muster in support is $42,000. That is chump change in today's electioneering.

The republican "good ole boys" club is so mad their RINO, Mike Castle didn't win that they just can't get over it and have to keep going after O'Donnell. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. On the one had they say how important that seat was, as though it was already lost, and how they are behind O'Donnell but with the next breath they're busy telling all of American why she can't or shouldn't be the one to win. They behave as though Mike Castle was the only one in the whole United States that could have or win that seat.

Our politicians, BOTH PARTIES, have such a sense of entitlement to their positions that they can't stand the idea of anyone new in those positions unless they are "sanctioned" with the RNC stamp of approval.

This is just one more reason we need to get every person in congress with this attitude out of congress. They are there for us. Out of 350 million people in the United States they would have us believe there are only 500 people who are actually qualified for their jobs. It is sad what pride this shows.

It is time for these people too go! I believe the democrats are worse than the republicans because of their pervasive Marxist, socialist, communist world views, but it is also a serious probably when you have a class of people who think they were born to rule.

These people need to be made to realize they are not supposed to RULE us they are supposed to REPRESENT us!

I say every time an incumbent comes up for a vote unless they can demonstrate the laws they've voted for and the actions they've taken are to protect and defend the constitution they should not be permitted back in office.

Obama A Christian?

I know this issue has come up before and seems to keep coming up but we really need to ask ourselves if Obama is really the Christian he has put out the word he is? If Obama is a Christian then why leave The portion of the Declaration of Independence that says we are endowed with rights by our creator.

At a meeting of the Congressional Hispanic Congress Obama had the following to say when he supposedly quoted the Declaration of Independence.

Obama said, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed with certain inalienable rights: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

The fact that he would somehow make a decision to change the wording of one of the most central documents of the United States ought to cause a great deal of outrage and anger by all who know. In many respects this is a very anti American thing to do. It should be addressed and should be confronted. Obama should be made to answer for this, but I wonder how many people even noticed it?

As with many politicians it almost seems as though the more he gets away with doing the more he has to try. Some say that serial killers want to get caught and that's why they keep doing what they do. I wonder if the same isn't true of politicians.

Obama seems to go out of his way to spit in the face of Americans, to mock us, mock the constitution, instruct us as though we were children, and do things that are clearly not according to the constitution. Yet through all of this no one is willing to declare the things he's doing are either unconstitutional or anti American. No one wants to say he's a socialist and all I can wonder is if people know what socialism is or if they're simply to afraid to call him one.

Occasionally he pays lip service to his love of our country and on rare occasions he's even said that we could excel, but for the most part he does nothing but apologize to the rest of the world for everything we've done. He tries to tell us how much we need to make up for our past. He has twisted the constitution on more than one occasion. He has expressed that he even feels it is wrong and seems to imply by what he says that he thinks we either ought to do away with it, or that we ought to at least make so many changes to it that it would be hardly recognizable.
Sadly he's already done a great job of doing everything he can to ruin as much of it as he can.

The congress has gone right along with him on this. When I say the congress I mean both sides. In this particular case the republicans seemed to understand that since the democrats had a super majority they didn't need to help them, this put them in the place where they could seem to come to the rescue but in reality many of them would have voted for the same things the democrats did if it had been needed and if it had not been for the Tea Party.

It is my hope that we will do away with every possible incumbent and do our best to start fresh. Consider the republican's treatment of O'Donnell. You would think they were democrats they were so mad the Tea Party didn't just do what it was told. They wanted a guy back in office who certainly doesn't represent the republican plank. I still can't figure how they think he would have been an asset to the party. Just because he has an "R" after his name doesn't mean he's going to vote with the republicans. I believe they wanted a couple of those types in office so they could behave as thought he democrats just barely stopped them on things when in reality it's just more business as usual.

I will continue to say that we really need to get all of these people out of office. They have not demonstrated any high degree of honor for the constitution or the nation. They do not seem to hold to any real moral or ethical standard whatever.

Even if O'Donnell has her problems or does a bad job it's not like we're stuck with her for 20 years as we were with Mike Castle. It is not as though we can't get rid of these people in a few years and that is precisely what we ought to be doing.

Moderate Muslims What a Joke!

The media is certainly TERRORIZED by Islam. They like to pretend that they are the beacons of truth but they are afraid to give any serious coverage of Islam or do any serious research of Islam.

All they want to do is keep parroting the politically correct views that Islam is mostly moderates... whatever that means. Clearly they have not even taken the time to read the Koran. If 9 our of 10 Muslims are Moderate and opposed to the "terrorists" then it ought to be ever so easy to find Muslims condemning what the terrorists are doing, yet at best they seem able to find only 2 or 3 that seem to hold any really moderate view.

They reported that we were not going to let the "terrorists" change our life style, but they most certainly have. They have cowed the media into any serious look into what they really believe or any serious criticism of any of their actions.

I find it interesting that if just one nutcase doesn't something wrong in the name of Christianity it becomes immediately assumed that they represent all Christians, yet no matter how many Muslims threaten to kill cartoonists or anyone else who threatens to burn their book or drawn pictures of Mohammed it is still assumed that for the most part they are mostly moderate.

As I have said in the past if you are so sure that Muslims are mostly moderate then I dare you to go to a mask... you pick the Mosque and draw funny pictures of Mohammed or tear up a Koran... then do similar with any Christian Church... burn or tear up a bible, draw funny pictures of Jesus... Do you really think you'd be as afraid that something might happen at the church as at the mosque.

Get real. Read their book and you'll see what they believe unless your position is that they simply don't believe what they're most holy book teaches which I find and absurd postulate.

Brilliant Republican Strategy

I must say I'm as fed up with the republicans as I am with the democrats.

They clearly wish to control the Tea Party, which is NOT going to happen. They tried to tell the Christine O'Donnell to back out of the race. Their reason because she didn't have a chance to win. I believe it was really because they didn't have control over her. They would rather have a liberal republican who's been in office for 20 years take it even though he really doesn't represent our values.

They whine that Christine winning the primary may ruin their chances of control of the senate. It sounds very much like Obama and the Democrats blaming republicans because they can't get things passed when they have control.

The republicans refuse to really get behind O'Donnell though they talk of how much they need that seat yet they're only going to throw the minimum amount of support so they can say they tried.

This shows it's not really just about winning back the house and the senate but about having "THEIR" people in there. Clearly the republicans are more concerned about being able to keep progressives in office and keep the agenda moving forward.

Sadly I think many, most, maybe even all of the republicans represent the people little if any more than the democrats. They are annoyed that the people want O'Donnell.

Consider for a moment what this really means. It is the same as what democrats are saying. The republicans are saying we the people really don't know what we're doing. We need their guidance. They don't feel they should submit to what we want rather we should bow to their superior political knowledge and understanding.

It is insulting how the democrats and republicans treat us like children that need to be led by the hand. If the republicans lose the seat in Delaware they have no one to blame but their lack of support. Whatever support they were going to give Mikey.. they should give O'Donnell if they're serious about winning. I don't believe they are. They are serious about wanting control and O'Donnell doesn't promise that to them.

We even have the republicans doing everything they can to bring up anything in her past that could possibly hurt her. Do they do this with their own? Never. If anything they do all they can to provide cover. Once again this indicates they are trying to destroy her and send a message to the Tea Party... Don't Cross Us or you won't get anywhere.

It is time that the republicans heard the same message we've been sending to the democrats.

DON'T TREAD ON US!

They are showing how much they oppose the will of we the people. What they are doing is an insult and an affront to the Tea Party and the People as well as the majority of their own party in Delaware who voted for Christine.

If this is what they intend to do we need to replace the leadership in the republican party as much as we need to replace the democrats. It would seem they are all bad apples and show it by their fruit. Rotten to the core!

The Republicans are Despicable

As you can tell from the title of this post I find the republicans despicable in the light of the recent upset in Delaware. Christine O'Donnell wins over Mike Castle for the republican seat and rather than the republicans get behind her and at least take the seat from the democrats they determine to make it very public that they are not going to support her.

It is quite clear that the republicans will only abide the Tea Party as long as it does what it's told. Their hope has been to co-opt the Tea Party. We saw the same thing happen in NY during that fateful day when they first began to realize the Tea Party was a force to be reckoned with.

They have determined like the democrats that if they can't control it they're going to try to crush it. The fact that they wouldn't support O'Donnell who clearly represents conservative values and has the support of the people indicates that they have another agenda than the conservative one.

This alone is a good reason to be ever so careful to not simply support a person for office simply because they are republican. They were telling O'Donnell to stand down despite the fact that Mike Castle is one of the most liberal republicans in office and is hardly any different from a democrat.

The republican party clearly needs new leadership that represents the will of the American people. Just the fact that they were telling O'Donnell to stand down indicates they do not represent the will of the people but some other agenda they don't want to admit too.

They, like the democrats are finally starting to show their progressive colors as well.

It has taken the Tea Party to bring them out of the shadows. I believe as the primaries and midterm elections take place we are going to see more instances of the republicans doing what they will because they are more concerned about winning than doing what's right. They don't see that doing what's right is what they need to win. This is the reason the republicans and the democrats are more or less always in equal numbers.

The republicans clearly have not gotten the message that we really want something different. Not just different from what the democrats are bringing to the table but different from what the republicans have been bringing as well.

To be honest at this point I wouldn't even care if the democrat in Delaware won the seat. Just the fact that we've gotten rid of someone who thinks he has a RIGHT to that seat is a good thing. Apparently the republican party as a whole thought he had a right to it as well; not even just that the republicans should have it but that Mike Castle should have it.

We need new blood in Washington and we need all our representatives to know if they don't do what we want we'll vote them out. People are not going to stay in Washington for decades anymore unless they are truly doing what the people want them to do.

It is for this reason I can only hope we get rid of Barbara Box, Diane Feinstein, Lynn Woolsey, Maxine Waters, Charles Rangle and all the rest who feel entitled to their positions.

Any representative who would vote for a bill without reading it is a representative we DON'T NEED in office. We can find better people than they are. The level of irresponsibility that sort of thing indicates is enough all by itself to get rid of them.

Republican Party On the Wrong Side

It is good to see that the Tea Party is not mistaking Republicans and their agenda for what the Tea Party Wants.

One Good example of how the Republican Party (not to be confused with republicans in general) is at odds with the Tea Party and thus probably indicates their goals are not really those of the Tea Party is the Delaware race where they are trying to get rid of O'Donnell and ensure that a long term republican, Mike Castle stays in office.

Enough of politics as usual. There can be little doubt that Castle is not the person the Tea Party or most Americans would want representing them. Because the Tea Party is mostly made up of normal Americans with normal grass roots desires for the United States; such things as lower taxes, less government, making sure laws are constitutional, the end to power structure in Washington which is becoming more and more like a regime and less and less representative and such like; they are the ones the republicans should be listening too.

The republicans don't want to lose their control any more than the democrats do. They've had a great working relationship together. They've all been working toward the same goals more or less. There at least as many progressives in the republican party as their are in the democrat party. The big difference is that the republican progressives aren't as radical but their goals are none the less the same it is only their methods that differ.

It is this march toward progressivism that the Tea Party Opposes and even the republican party doesn't want to see that end.

As I have said in other posts we would do well to get rid of every incumbent we can! We certainly couldn't do worse. These guys are ruining our nation and finally the people are beginning to see it. I only hope it isn't too late to stop them.

If the republican party isn't going to get out of the way on their own or won't join and support the movement and wishes of the people then those republicans need to go as well.

I only hope we will find out who in the republican party is trying to organize this defeat of O'Donnell and get rid of them at the first opportunity as well.

The republican party as well as the democrats are supposed to be there to SERVE the people NOT RULE THEM! We are NOT children that need to be lead by the hand. We are not the servants, they are SUPPOSED to be the servants, though in nearly every instance they behave as masters and rulers.

I say we should get rid of everyone of them that feels that way or through their actions and voting behaves that way. We need to vote every one of them out of office as soon as we can till they get the message or till the only ones we get that want to run or think they'll have a chance are the ones that are looking out for us not looking out for the party or for trying to keep the same guy in office for 20+ years.

The Fear Label

I find it amazing how we have become a generation of "FEAR". Anytime the media or some political agenda doesn't want you to oppose them the emotions always involved are FEAR and HATE.

I personally am so tired of this. We have far more emotions that determine why we do things. The reason we don't want the mosque at ground zero has NOTHING to do with fear. It has to do with being sensitive, it has to do with grief, it has to do with ANGER. It has nothing to do with FEAR or HATE.

Let's get off the fear and hate bandwagon. It is not always about FEAR and HATE. Where the anti homosexual sentiment stands again is not FEAR so they should stop calling it a phobia.... it's disgust or repulsion in most case. It is not about animosity or phobia.

You can be angry with your children that doesn't mean you hate them or fear them when they do something wrong. If we were to apply the political correctness to everything we'd have to tell parents to stop hating and fearing their children.... We should stop fearing and hating illegal immigrants.... these things are not all about fear and hate so let's stop the politically correct speak!

I find it amazing how the media even Fox News manage to find an obscure pastor from Florida who is going to burn some Qurans and make him the bad guy.

Consider this... A man who threatens to burn some religious books is the bad guy but the Muslims who will go about killing people because of it are not? Everyone admits doing this is going to cause this to happen. I thought most Muslims were moderates, not the crazed, murdering, mayhem causing, terrorist extremist types! If this is so then burning those Qurans should make no difference at all. The moderates if they're anything like Christians who saw pictures of Christ in piss, or a picture of Mary done with elephant dung were offended but no one was killed. Now the "extremists" aren't going to be affected any more to kill people because of the burning Qurans, so the only reason they'd be saying this is that they know the "moderates" are the ones that will take action.

I personally believe the moderates are not such the majority we are told and the terrorists, fundamentalist Muslims, are not such the minority we are told. If all this really were the case then this Quran burning would not be the big issue it is becoming.

If there were a bible burning about to be done by the Muslims would there be the same outrage and demands to stop it? Would anyone fear for their lives because of this action? The Muslims are people who burn other people not just books. They cut their heads off and drag them through the streets.... Hmmm let's see... burn some books.... burn some people and kill them... this seems to me to be a measured and moderate response from the tolerant, bridge building Islamic religion.

We can always depend on the news to give us perspective.

If you sense sarcasm here you should. This is what we've come to. We must curtail our freedom of expression because Muslims may be offended... and I suppose if they start killing people over this it will somehow be our fault.

Isn't this like blaming a citizen for getting killed because he yelled for the police... clearly it owuld be the honest citizens fault for making trouble for criminal!

What is the matter with the people of this nation.

We have bought the lie that Islam is a religion of peace. We do not have a single reporter willing to read the Quran and find out what is really in there. All they have to do is blame some imaginary minority and everyone accepts and reports that.

Why are we attacking this man for his freedom of expression rather than reporting that maybe Muslims aren't as peaceful and moderate as they pretend?

This is just one more example of the politics of fear. It is amazing that to the liberals every action of opposition is either motivated out of fear or hate. I suppose this indicates that they are, in their mind, the only two motivations that a conservative can have.

OK, let's go with it, but straighten out what it is we are afraid of and fear.

We are not afraid of Obama's blackness, we are afraid of his socialism and the methods he is using which violate the constitution.

We do not hate Obama because he's black, we hate what he's doing to the economy, we hate that he insists we are all haters. Is that what is on his mind all the time as well as other liberals and progressives. I believe they are the ones with fear and hate of the very nature they accuse others of. In their minds those are the only 2 reasons a person can oppose another person in politics if they are different from us. Of course who isn't different from us. Do we hate everyone? How absurd.

Rather than defend bad policies, socialism, a refusal to be transparent, a method of passing a bill (health care) that was not constitutional, the contradictory statements of wanting us energy independent as he close nearly all offshore drilling and let's the drilling platforms to go other countries, The idea that spending more money than you have is good for the economy and trying to live on a budget is bad for... rather than defend these things with reason, which of course they cannot because they are unreasonable, they are left with only one thing, accusing people of hate, bigotry and fear.

Yes we hate what is happening. We may even hate the individual doing it, but that has not to do with his skin color. This is as insane as to insist that Obama is a racist because he continually attacks George Bush a white president. This is of course a clear indication of his racism. Further I have not seen him attack any black senators but goes after the republican senators all the time this of course shows his fear of white people.

Why is Obama such a racist, bigot?

Yes this is hyperbole, but isn't this exactly what the left does except in their case they behave as though it were genuine hate, bigotry and fear rather than hyperbole. Their disingenuousness is appalling. Their hypocrisy is obvious and it is easy to see where the real hate and fear are.

Those in the media are incapable of impartiality and real reporting. They miss the real issues and focus or even make up issues that have nothing to do with what is really going on. I would say maybe they should become fiction writers, but then I suppose they already are.

OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE! (media!) Clearly you are afraid of the truth, but then with all the misinformation and misdirection fed to the people through the media outlets it is little wonder they fear the truth.

When you hear our non-representing representatives using this same kind of rhetoric you know it is time for these people to be put out of office as well. They are the real haters and bigots. They project their attitudes on the rest of us. They only know of turning people against each other. They know nothing of real unity. Isn't this the job of a community organizer. Obama has shown his consumate skill at dividing people and getting them to fight with each other. He knows how to push people's buttons and it seems it is all he knows.

Consider a man who admits he doesn't have all the facts and immediately declares the cops are clearly stupid. Yet with equally as few facts he can take the side of an Imam in NY who wants to build a mosque on ground zero and send him around the world as a representative for the united states.

Who are the people making judgments without facts or in some cases against the facts as they are plainly known. Those are the people who are haters, prejudice, bigots and phobics.

We don't need people of this character in government. We don't need leaders that condescend toward us like Barbara Boxer who had to correct someone of equal rank about how to address her as a superior. Their arrogance is and should be appalling.

They keep hoping you'll forget and for the most part the American people do since we still keep voting 90% of them back in office even though they only have an 11% approval rating. This most certainly must make them laugh at what idiots their constituents are.

Your current representative is no better than anyone else's if almost 90% of the American people feel their doing a bad job. You should ask yourself what they know that you don't. Throw them all out of office and let's find some people we can trust!

The Accusation of Hate

It would seem that you cannot say anything that disagrees with the progressive/democrat agenda without being accused of racism, some kind of phobia or hatred.

We need to ask ourselves who really are the ones that are stirring the pot and trying to get people worked up to acts of violence? Who are the ones that have actually acted violently? It has clearly been the unions and the liberals and not just recently. This is the only means they understand to get what they want.

Most alive today don't remember the anti Vietnam War rallies. They don't remember how the left spit on our returning soldier, or yelled at them in the streets or called them baby killers. Their methods have not changed. They feel they have the right to respond however they please no matter how severe it might be if it might serve their ends. You have only to listen to the response of some of our representatives to their constituents at town halls. They demonstrate no concern for all the hatred they spew out and in some cases even seem to inflame their constituents. At the same time if you try to call them on these things you are the one that is a bigot or a hater.

Consider the most recent situation on 8/28/10 when Glenn Beck held a gathering at the capitol. Al Sharpton declared that he was somehow denigrating what Martin Luther King did, though all he did was speak of understand, character, and virtue. Al Sharpton had planned nothing before that, but when he heard Glenn Beck was he had to plan something himself. Everything he said was accusing in its nature even the very tone of his voice was angry. It was as though no one but black people could celebrate what MLK said on the steps to the Lincoln Memorial. His statements indicated that he though this day somehow belonged to black people and to Martin Luther King. Many Criticized MLK's niece for speaking at Glenn Becks meeting once again as though even MLK's niece didn't have a right to say anything about it. How self righteous these people are. So it is not only black people but it's the right kind of black people that have the only right to celebrate anything MLK did or said.

This kind of absurdity has to be confronted and it should be confronted by the media but of course they are worse than asleep at the wheel. They are among those fomenting these bad feelings. These people need to be confronted with their own hypocrisy. We need to contact the media it seems just not buying their papers or watching their shows is enough.

Obamacare Will Never Go Away

Months ago when Obamacare first passed I said something and I still stand by it.

Obamacare will never go away. It will become like Social Security. This will be the case in more ways than one. First it will go bankrupt as well as creating a great deal of pressure on the economy to try to sustain it when that is not possible and second We will not be able to get rid of it any more than we have been able to get rid of Social Security.

Like all entitlements the progressives have understood that all they needed to do was to get it in place. Once in place and people begin to use or benefit from the service at all they become hooked like drug attics. They feel it is free and that they are not paying for it because they forget that it is coming out of their pockets in the form of taxes.

Obama knows that even should the congress be completely taken over by the republicans that he still has progressive republicans in play that he can depend on to vote against repealing it. He further understands and has confidence that even if they tried to repeal it he can veto it and then it requires a super majority to overturn is veto.

For these reasons he is quite confident that republicans won't even really try. All they'll do is leave it in place and try to "tweak" it. Knowing this will be the case means it will become cemented in place and it will not be repealed. The greedy progressives, republicans included will not allow themselves to tweak the taxes required to run it because if nothing else they will be able to use that income for other things.

Short of a near revolutionary outrage over Obamacare we are going to find we are stuck with it. I believe many Americans don't understand what this is really going to mean. Consider the wonderful job done with Social Security and you may get some idea of just how bad this is. Yes it has lasted and been a drag on our economy and our income through taxation for almost 100 years and yet know wonders that they could have done better for themselves by simply investing that money themselves.

I beg you all... Please look at your paychecks. See how much you actually made and how much you got to keep. All the rest is taxes or in some cases some of it is union dues or healthcare, but the bulk of it is taxes. Imagine you got to keep most of that. In my case it amounts to nearly $1800.00/month. This is a decent mortgage payment above and beyond what I'm already paying for mortgage. This means that had I had that money all the time and simply put it into a house by the time I retired I'd own a second home outright. Now since I can't live in 2 homes at the same time I'm sure I'd have been renting the second one out which means that I'd actually have been able to pay it off even faster with the help of rent and might well be able to buy 2 or even 3 additional homes. Do you really think I would not be able to retire easily with that.

Oh you may say, but that money also goes for education. Many of us are already paying for private education for our kids, but lets suppose that I take some of that money and use it for the education of my kinds with private education. Again it would not be a hardship because all of that is money I'm making but giving to the government instead of my own needs. My kids would undoubtedly get a better education than they are now and I'm sure I'd still be working on at least one additional home.

Do not kids yourselves the government will never be as careful with your money as you will. They do not have the vested interest in it that you.

Make no mistake if something is not done about Obamacare quickly the moment will be lost and we will be saddled with it for a very long time to come. You will of course be expected to pay for it with your hard earned taxes unless you are one of the 50% of the population who doesn't pay any taxes at all, and I'm NOT TALKING ABOUT THE RICH. The progressive would have you believe the RICH are the only ones not paying their fair share. There are many others earning far less than the "rich" who are also not paying any taxes.

I do not say this to make you angry with those people which is just more of the class warfare the government loves to put on us. It is to tell you that the problem is the government itself. It doesn't know how to collect taxes. It doesn't tax fairly. It takes far TOO MUCH in taxes, and it doesn't spend our taxes wisely.

Is there anything in the constitution that says or even mildly indicates that it is the government's job to provide for our health care? if so wouldn't we have had it for the last 200 years. Or maybe you believe the drivel from the progressives who would have you believe our founding fathers were a bunch of doddering old idiots who were only out for selfish gain... You know the men who gave their lives, their fortunes, their reputations, lost the lives of their children in the revolution. You know those selfish greedy rich guys.

If we don't make healthcare go away very quickly we will never rid ourselves of it. Surely you must see this is the way of the political world and the real world. Our progressive leaders would like us to forget about Obamacare and so they certainly don't intend to mention it at all if they don't have to.

Remember right after they passed it how they boasted what a great step forward it was, but you haven't heard a single thing about it's wonders since. Doesn't this make you wonder why? It's because it's not the WONDER they tried to pretend it was to get it passed. It is just another way to take more control and power over the people of a nation that is supposed to be self governing.

Don't let your representatives think you've forgotten about health care. Let them know you will keep voting them out by doing so at every election you can.

Stop voting these same LOSERS back into office. They have not done what you wanted them too. Not one of them shows any concern for what you want by their actions. They all SAY they are concerned but do their actions in any way show it.

Did Barbara Boxer, Lynn Woolsey, Diane Feinstein, Pelosi, Reid and many others to name a few show even to the slightest degree that they heard you at the town hall meetings they held.

They let you think they heard. They lulled you into thinking Obamacare was not going to pass and then they went after it with a vengeance when you were lulled into a false sense of security. They cannot change their progressive nature and if you leave them in office they will do the same and more TO you (not FOR you) again and again.

Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome

This is the very definition of what has been happening in politics for way too long.

We seem to think it is impossible to find anyone of integrity to run for office. We are so sure of it that we simply accept and re-elect those we know have little or no integrity.

It is clear that congress has only 11% approval rating yet statistics show that 90% will be re-elected. Is this not the definition of insanity. Being frustrated with what our leaders are doing yet voting the same people back in office over and over and expecting a different out come!

What is the matter with people?! No matter who you are... NO YOUR representative is NO better than the rest.

Does anyone seriously think that McCain is a different man? does anyone seriously think he is now a conservative after decades of progressive voting? He is only doing what is politically expedient.

Does anyone really think that Pelosi, Boxer, Woolsey or the other representatives in California are really willing to lay aside all their environmentally economically damaging agendas for the sake of fixing the budget and getting people back to work?

All our representatives have already shown us what they have to offer. We need only look at the economy to see what they have ALL collectively done!

Yes there may be a few that are OK, but for the most part even if we lost those few I don't think we would be any the worse for it. We do not need professional politicians. Indeed they are probably worst thing for us because they don't really understand what it is like to be one of the "common people".

We need to get rid of every single one of the non-representing representatives we have in office that are up for a vote. That will send them a message that we're NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Tell them what you think with your vote. They clearly don't care about what they hear in the town halls. if anything they actually show disdain for their constituents.

Many of these people have expressed disdain for our wonderful constitution as well. This is the constitution they SWORE to uphold and defend. So where is that support and defense? NOWHERE to be found!

In many cases they don't even know what it says. They speak of separation of church and state and no matter what you think of the subject it doesn't exist in the constitution, READ IT and see. They talk of right to privacy... ALSO NOT in the constitution, but they sure defend it.

They speak of the rights of Private property yet are busy making sure that eminent domain wins every time. They are all for the right for Muslims to practice their religion and build where they want but stand in the way at every turn when it is Christians that want to do the same. Again they know nothing of the first amendment.

People like this we don't need in office. They try to pretend that this is the job of judges, but didn't they choose those judges knowing full well what kinds of rulings they could expect from them. They are still to blame.

You will not be any the worse off for getting rid of these people. Replace them with the real common people and you will live far happier, more prosperous and peaceful lives as well as being able to do the things you want with your own property instead of having to check with a gov't official to see what kinds of trees they want (will allow) you to plan on your own property.

Enough is ENOUGH.. Throw Da BUMS OUT!

11% Approval, 90% Re-elected

One has to wonder what's the matter with our nation. The congress has approximately and 11% approval rating yet approximately 90% of the incumbents will be re-elected.

Apparently everyone feels it is everyone else's representatives that are the bad apples.

America, WAKE UP!

If everyone from other states thinks your representative is doing the wrong thing maybe there's good reason for that.

Would it really be so bad to get rid of the one you currently have? Would it really be so bad to get rid of people who think they are entitled to that position? Do you really think NO ONE else can do the job as good or better than they can? Do you really think they're doing such a wonderful job?

Speaking for myself I can only say that Barbara Boxer, Lynn Woolsey, and Diane Feinstein have been some of the biggest blights on California and the rest of the Nation. Please don't get me started on Nancy Pelosi and Reid. These people all think we are idiots who need to be lead by the hand. They would make you afraid that they are the only ones that can save us. Have the really done such a great job?

Did Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Woolsey, Feinstein and others vote against any of the things that have been passed? Do you really think they are representing what you want to see happen in this nation?

These people and many others have continue to ignore what the people want and follow their socialist/communist/progressive agenda. They seem to think we have endless amounts of money to give them so they can give to it other people for us. They are SO generous with our money. What wonderful moral and caring people they are. They know they haven't squeezed every penny from our pockets yet in tax. There is always more we can give so they can feel good about their high moral value of generosity with other people's money.

Please consider carefully before you vote a single incumbent back in office. These people have no real concern for you. Their promises are hollow. They say what you want to hear then do what they want to do.

Maybe the American people really are as stupid as they think. After all we don't pay attention to what they promise versus what they deliver. These are people who voted for a 2500 page bill not one of them had read, They voted for 1300 page financial bill not one of them had read. Does this really sound like the actions of responsible representatives to you?

Does it really sound responsible when Pelosi says, "We need to pass this bill so we can find out what's in it."? There is another way to find out what is in a bill Nancy... IT'S CALLED READING.

The fact that you don't know what's in it means you didn't even write it so what exactly are you doing?

America we've already seen that the representatives we have aren't doing a very good job. Take a risk and vote in someone with real character.

Can you honestly say that you think Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Woolsey, Feinstein or any of the others have character? They certainly are characters, but I don't think we could say they have character!

It is time to get rid of these people. They will lie and distract in every way they can think of so that you'll just vote for them again. We don't need them.

We need "Joe the Plumbers" and common people in Washington; people will common sense; people who know, believe in, and will defend the constitution. We do not need people who despise the constitution and think it is a relic.

Consider for a moment if everyone wants only the other guys to throw their representatives out but don't want to throw their own out then we will have nothing more than the same. Instead of wanting everyone else to throw their bums out while you keep yours have some stones and get rid of your own. Lead by example.

Separation of Church and State

The idea that the separation of church and state is in the constitution is completely false. This was dreamed up by judges and added to the constitution when it was never in there and is still not in there. This is another case of judges simply finding things in the constitution that don't exist.

The constitution was not written to restrict individuals but to restrict the government. Obama and the progressives are bothered with this idea as they want the government to be able to do whatever it wants.

As stated above the constitution does not in any way restrict the citizens in regard to their religion. It also does not restrict the practice of their religion while in public office. What the constitution does do is restrict the government from passing any laws prohibiting the free exercise of their religion. It also prevents them from passing any laws establishing religion. It does not tell them that their religion is restricted from exercise while in government or that prayers or bible reading are in any way restricted in public office, public places, in the congress, on school grounds or any other public venue.

We need to find judges that respect the constitution and don't feel the need to constantly add to it the things they want it to say. This is judicial activism pure and simple. They ignore things that are clearly written in the constitution and add things that are nowhere to be found in the constitution.

Any senator has a write to exercise his religion, any teacher has a right to exercise their religion even in the class room. As soon as the government pass any law prohibiting that free exercise they have violated the constitution. It is not the teacher or the senator or governor who has violated the constitution it is the congress or the judge who has violated the constitution by passing a law or the equivalent thereof prohibiting that person from freely exercising their religion.

The constitution also does not guarantee freedom of religion only in private! The constitution puts no boundaries on where religion can be practiced freely.

The government is there to defend the rights we have from God. The government is not there to give us rights. Again I say they are there to protect those rights! If they do not do this then they are violating both the constitution and their vow to the constitution.

Ask your non-representing representatives what they think of Christianity and if it should be ok to pray pray in school or even lead a class in prayer. If they are opposed to it or worse still would support a law restricting it then they are not a representative you want and they should be out of office as quickly as you can get rid of them.

A representative who would take your First Amendment right will take any right. Sadly we've already had our fair share of representatives who have said the government either has the power to do what it wants or that it should.

Our representatives seem not interested at all in restricting government in any way at all, but they have certainly demonstrated a great deal of willingness to restrict individuals in almost every area of life. What you can do on your own property, what plants you can plant, what wood you can burn, if you can burn wood at all, who should be allowed to marry, where and when you can pray, where and when you can read your bible, what kind of bullets you can have for your gun. How much energy you can use.

Our leaders revel in controlling the lives of the American people and that is not their job! Their job and the oath is to protect and defend the constitution. Their oath is not to restrict and direct the lives of the American people.

I still find it amazing that so many incumbents keep getting back into office. What is the matter with the people. Do they not pay any attention. Do they really think these people are doing such a wonderful job? Do these people really represent the values of the people? If they do does that mean that our values are also against the constitution? if that is the case then we deserve to lose the American way of life and the freedoms our founding fathers fought, bled and died for.

The government does not have the right to tell you when and where you can practice your religion. It is od that they are so adamant about this right regarding the religion of Islam but don't give the same courtesy to Christianity.

If you have a representative that isn't willing to defend and protect your right and the right of every American to practice their religion then you have a representative who is willing to have a dictatorship and do away with the constitution.

Consider this carefully because in the elections coming up voting the same people back in office will mean voting for more of the same as what we've gotten. Do you really think what we've gotten from them is so good?

If you say you don't like these people and you don't approve of what they're doing then why would you vote them back in office?!! Think about what it says about you if you say you don't approve of what someone else is doing and yet you vote them back in office. It either says you're plain stupid and their propaganda as totally fooled you, you really want what they're doing, or you simply can't be bothered to become informed and vote intelligently.
