Are we in Russia Now?

I don’t think I’d ever consider just how bad things have gotten in this country over time. For some reason we’ve all come to expect each downgrade in our lifestyle as the new normal. As a result people just don’t make much of a stink over where things are going.

When I was a child people didn’t live in houses that were always uncomfortably cold. Contrary to what the left would have us believe this is not because the rich have gotten richer at our expense, or even because the middle class is shrinking. This is because of all the government regulations against every form of energy known to man. They feel that any form of energy use is prohibitively damaging to the environment and therefore must be squashed. As a result of this extreme leftist, globalist, environmentalist view the cost of energy has skyrocketed even as Obama warned us it “Must!”

This has not happened by accident. It hasn’t happened because we’ve run out of fuel. It hasn’t happened because we all love living in the cold even in our own homes. It’s happened because we’ve allowed whackos to take over the policies of our nation.

People are now told what they can and can’t eat. Stores are told what is permissible to sell. It has reached the point where kids can’t even sell lemonade at lemonade stands without risking severe fines to their parents.

If you buy land it doesn’t mean it’s yours to do with as you please. In states like California you can’t even cut down or plant a tree on your own property without first getting permission from the government, which involves environmental studies, permits, arborists coming out to evaluate the property, all at the expense to the owner and even then he may not be able to cut it down or plan another. This means that your property is really not your own to do with as you please. Oddly at the same the right to privacy gives a woman the right to mutilate the unborn child she is carrying without any study or objections. If anything she is encouraged to take the life of that unborn child.

I wonder if our founders would have ever put up with this in the past. I cannot help but believe our founding fathers wouldn’t have stood for any of this. They would have viewed this as no less than the rule of the king over the lives, most especially because the rules imposed on us never apply to the people writing them, only the rest of us.

When OWS talks about the 1% maybe they should talk about the .001%, those people in congress and government who have not better to do than to constantly make new laws for the rest of us to comply with. Consider in California where this year alone there were over 700 new laws for the citizens to comply with. Do you think that the people who passed all those laws didn’t exempt themselves?

Consider for a moment what would happen if you didn’t pay your taxes, but those in congress make a habit of flaunting the fact they haven’t paid theirs’ and we’re suppose to just accept that fact.

We go to stores and frequently can’t find what we want any more as well as seeing the prices skyrocket on food. I am old enough to remember a time when all these things would be unthinkable.

Now we bow to the slightest threat of someone being offended with what we say, do, eat, smoke. The rule of our society has become that we are not to offend anyone or we might find ourselves brought into court, sued or even thrown in jail for saying something unpopular.

There is almost no area of your lives that is not effected by government anymore, yet we continue to put up with it. Congress has less than a 10% approval rating yet like idiots people continue to vote back in their own representatives at a rate of about 95%. No wonder they don’t really care what we think or want. They are not the least bit afraid of being voted out. All they have to do is lie to us and we like idiots think maybe they’ve really changed and will really do what is best for us even though they have shown absolutely no history of doing that in the past.

Do you think the communist leaders of any country are afraid of being voted out? This is the situation we find ourselves in now and yet we do nothing to stop it. The nation we live in differs little from any communist nation. You must get a permit from the government for almost everything. I joke about this, but only a little, it may not be long before you’ll need a permit to travel under the excuse that our travel needs to be limited for the environment.

The communist in this country, and don’t fool yourselves they are here, have found a real friend in the environmentalist movement. We may even have a communist in the seat of the presidency though everyone is afraid to say so. The unproven idea that man is responsible for global warming has led to every manner of regulation in almost every area of our lives and yet everyone is afraid to confront it for the big lie it is. It has gained religious status, it is to be believed regardless of how little proof there is for it.

We have leaders who refuse to let us drill for oil and now don’t even want us to be able to use it. They now want to mandate that they can turn off our electricity or gas when they deem we are using too much and of course no one is standing up against it. Houses have become more like caves than homes. Even cavemen had fires in their caves to stay warm, at least as much as they could. But we live in fine house in the cold all the time. We cannot even be comfortable in our own homes unless we are willing to live on bread and water so we can pay for the heat. We were even being told what kind of light bulbs we could have in our homes till they finally repealed that law. Of course they’ve throw enough scare into the light bulb manufacturers that they will probably not start producing them again.

The environmentalists threw such a scare into the dish washing soap makers that they “voluntarily” stopped using phosphates in their soaps before they were forced to. The phosphates are what make it so dirt, oil, grime and food don’t stick to surfaces and thus your dishes come out clean. But you have to know those same phosphates were blamed for causing massive algae growth and so that had to be stopped. Doesn’t anyone consider that phosphates are natural? They’ve been there all along. They are something found in nature. So why are we expected to live so apart from nature that we almost can’t live at all?

None of this matters to either the environmentalists or the communists. All they care about is more and ever more control over our lives and they are certainly getting that in spades, and still the people say and do nothing to stand up against it.

If we allow this to continue we will find we are no different than Russia during the high of the Soviet Union. Sadly too few people are alive anymore to remember what that was even like. Too many of our young people have not been taught about what it was like in Russia during the height of the communist regime. Our schools not only don’t teach it, they also are busy teaching communism is as though it was a good thing.

Too many of our youth are being brought up to think that communism isn’t really such a bad thing or at least that it wouldn’t be if it was just done right. We need leaders who are willing to stand up and confront this even if they are accused of McCarthyism.

Communism in High Places

How is it that Americans have come to the place that we feel communism and communism should have an equal place in our government and that if we want communists in charge of our government that we should be able to have them.

It seems the American people have forgotten about a pesky thing called the constitution. Our leaders have all sworn to uphold and defend the constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic. Well communists and communism are directly opposed to the constitution so how can they then fulfill their oaths?

These things are diametrically opposed to each other and as such communists should be rejected from office as soon as they are found out. If they have supported communism even in the past it ought to be enough for us to prohibit them from being part of our government. This does not mean they are not citizens. It does not even mean that they do not have a right to their beliefs. It only means they should have no place in the leadership of our government.

In Hamilton's day it was expressed that if anyone was found to be a monarchist even after becoming president that they should be impeached. The reason for this was quite clear. It was because it was not possible for a person to support or believe in a monarchy and not oppose the constitution. It was in no way an issue of free speech in our founders minds. It had to do with defending the country and the laws of the land. In their minds the law was above all men and all men under the law were equal. There were not special rules from some and different rules for others.

We only need to look at other nations that have tried communism and socialism to see that they all have 2 sets of laws. One set of laws is for and by the ruling elite, which always rises to the top and the other set of laws was for what might be termed the common people.

It is sad but true that we already have much the same situation today. Congress constantly passes laws which we are expected to abide by but which they make clear they are exempt from. This was not what our founding fathers every intended and we need to put a stop to it if it means voting out every person in office till they start to follow the constitution again.

Republicans Always on the Defense

It thoroughly mystifies me how it is that republicans can have the upper hand and yet always come out looking like they're the bad guy.

They offered a bill that would both extend the tax cut and also provide more jobs through the pipeline. The democrats in the Senate take that bill, gut it, and shorten it to a ridiculous 2 months, and then leave so they don't have to deal with whatever the senate sends back to them.

This is as much as to say that he house better just pass what they send back to them. It also implies that the house has no right to make any changes, but this is just the reason the founders determined this process. Sure they must have known that the house would make changes and send it back to them, but they decide to leave town so the bill is left hanging with republicans and then blame the lack of passage on the republicans when in fact the lack of passage is because the senate left town thinking this would force the republicans to just vote on whatever was sent them.

Now my question is, "Why don't the republicans explain the facts to the American people?" We're not idiots. We are certainly smart enough to get it and be mad at the right people about the lack of an extension to the bill. Clearly the democrats wanted the bill rejected and hanging with the house. All the house had to do was just make their changes back to what they wanted and send it back to the Senate. Then it is no longer their fault that the democrat controlled Senate isn't voting on their bill because they're too interested in getting home for Christmas.

It is almost as though republicans want to make themselves irrelevant so that they can later blame the democrats, but the problem is the only time they seem able to do that is when they are out of power. When they are in power they seem unable to mount any decent defense.

Maybe it is time for the republican party to go away and be replaced by some independent party that is willing to vote, stand and defend their consciences.

Media Politics

Maybe it's just me, but I have to admit I'm getting very tired of the media telling me who can win and who cannot. I'm also getting tired of the media telling me we all have to come closer to the middle and it's the middle that matters. The problem with this is that there is very little difference between the left and the right really. We need to be discussing consitutional and unconstitutional where politics are concerned. The republicans most certainly don't have it right which is clear from how reluctant they are to cut government or cut government spending. They also believe government is the answer it is just that they are not as extreme or nearly in the rush to produce a communist nation that the democrats are, but they are certainly still heading there.

They start a bill designed to cut 300 million dollars. Now that is a far amount, but then end up cutting only 30 million dollars. This is not even 1 day's worth of government spending. They were willing to settle for this and it is for this reason that I say that I'm not the least bit interested in having one of those republicans in charge of our economy. They want to slow the RATE of growth of government, but they still believe government is the answer and that the only way it can be the answer is if it gets more of our money.

So back to the media. The media looks at all the wrong things where the candidates are concerned and it is for this reason that we need to ignore them. One of the main things they look at for a viable presidential candidate is how much money they're bringing in for their campaign. This most certainly should not be the primary concern of who we elect. The money they raise is only a small indicator of the number of people who support their views. I say it is only a small indicator because usually a huge portion of that money comes from those who are wealthy and want their interests represented should that candidate win, and not because they really support their views. Because most people of the money does not come from the little people the amount of money really reflect the minority of the people who support that person which probably means that they are not the people we want. Those who are rich as well as the big corporations must feel this person's support can at least in part be bought and thus it already belies the possibility that, that candidate is not one of moral value, so I say best that we avoid that person.

It is also interesting to watch how reluctant the media is to really cover those they don't like such as Herman Cain and Michele Bachman. It indicates that they also feel they have a horse in the race. They are continually telling us how Bachman and Cain are so far behind that they can't win, hoping we'll give up on them. This same thing happened to Alan Keyes several elections ago. he probably expressed and supported what the American people wanted better than anyone else but he hardly got any coverage.

The media are more concerned with how "vulnerable" a candidate is? They avoid bringing up their actual records, or maybe it's just that they've become as lazy as the rest of the Hollywood Elite. They just love to hear themselves talk. They can't be bothered with all the tedium of looking up actual facts and finding out what these people have done. They are too concerned with sound bites.

Consider during the last republican debate that the candidates had a whopping 30 secs to respond on such issues as the war in Iraq, or Afghanistan, or the issue of Iran. Can that really be done in 30 secs? We all know that it cannot but what it means is that it gives the media plenty of room to criticize everything the candidate didn't say or didn't have time to correct or elaborate on due to the 30 second rule. This means that they can twist it any way they like.

It is well past the time that we paid much attention to these lazy propaganda hounds that masquerade as news reporters. No I'm not just talking about MSNBC, or NBC, or CBS, or any of the other LAME STREAM media. FOX News is at least as guilty as the rest when it comes to already starting to declare winners when we're still more than a year out from the election.

We need to start sending all the media outlets emails and telling them how fed up we are with this kind of lame reporting. In many respects they are like our representatives in government. They don't have a clue and won't get a clue till we start making a lot more noise abbout what they're doing.

Yet more evidence of media politics is how the media is now finding Cain guilty of sexual harrassment on nothing more than an allegation. They already believe he's guilty much like the white kids at Duke University were found guilty immediately and have ever had the names tarnished since. Yet Oddly this same media can keep saying Weiner wasn't guilty till it was "proved" no matter how much evidence came up. They did everything they could to sidestep that story till they were forced to address it and even them they tried to help lead Weiner in his answers so it might appear that he was still innocent or at least that it could not be proven one way or the other.

I started writing much of the above before the Cain campaign came to a crashing halt, but it seems he's been tried in the court of the media and public opinion. In spite of the fact that not one actual indictment or one piece of evidence was brought against him they continued to report on him as though he were guilty till he finally just gave up. I've seen the tactic work all too often and  even destroy both the marriage and careers of men simply because they were presumed guilty till proven innocent.

Is this really what our nation has come to? Is this really what our politics have come to?

Yet when we have one truly questionable situation after another involving Obama, his birth records, school records, work history, associations, all of which are either already documented or at least easily documented there is hardly a word from the media including Fox News.

Presidential Campaigns

I wonder how many of us would accept the following as presidential qualifications if it were Rick Perry or Mitt Romney?

I've represented affordable housing organizations (doesn't name them) to build affordable housing, something that is a major issue in the district. Did that help the schools. It sounds more like weak resume material. He completely sidesteps the whole issue of his lack of experience in government, yet this is the same thing they are criticizing Cain for now.

I wonder how the media would treat any of the current candidates, especially republican ones if they attempted to cover up their educational backgrounds? I wonder if they wouldn't raise such a stink about it that even the most embarrassing records would be released because of the doubt the media would throw on the candidate unless he did release them. Yet, Obama escaped any such investigation or even news coverage and to this day there is next to nothing about his educational years either socially or academically.

I wonder further if all the news about Obama's various relationships will be reported in this next campaign or if it will all be treated as something passe and not worth looking at? I hpe this is the noth case because there is more than enough evidence of his communist, Marxist, Maoist, socialist ties to indicate that if for no other reason this man does not deserve to be our president and he didn't deserve it the first time around.

Obama  had no experience in governing or even running any large company or group. What he had was training in Marxist, Maoist anti Americanism, and community organizing, which is just another word for dividing people against each other and terrorizing the groups you want to get something out of. Obama was nothing more than an activist. Like all resume writing when you don't really have the skills or experience needed you learn to reshape your experience to fit the need of the job. You make things sound like more than they were, you minimize the downside to things you did, or at least the things that don't apply. This is exactly what Obama did in the statement above. By calling it a Community Organizer he somehow raises the respectability of what he did. If he said he was an activist it makes it sound like nothing more than public rantings by college students who are disatisfied with the way the world runs but are not actual contributors. All they do is stand on the sidelines and continually criticize what others do. This is exactly what Obama has done since he became president. He did the same thing as a senator and he certainly did the same thing as an activist.

At this point I refuse to even call what he did community organizing because of the false elevation that term implies. He was an activist that's all. With the help of others he was able to remake himself into something supposedly respectable, but all he has done with his time in office is activism in the purest sense of the term. He has yelled or at least stated from his high seat all about racism at every chance possible even though he is the most powerful man in the most powerful nation of the world.

Maybe he feels some guilt for only being half black. Maybe he feels some guilt because even the half that is black has no history of American slavery. Remember his father was from Kenya and his mother was white. No slavery in that mix at all. He was the son of an interracial family so even in this he should have known more about the acceptance of racial differences than anyone, but instead he bought into all the class warfare and racist talk he could.

In some respects this is rather comical. It would be like somnone of born half black joining the KKK and declarin how much they hate the blacks. It just simply doesn't make sense, but it is yet another of those common sense things that should have been covered by the media but wasn't. He is no more qualified to complain about slavery than I am; indeed I am probably more qualified than he is, being half jewish, my people have been made slaves in Egypt, the Mede/Persians tried to make them extinct, and the Germans tried the same thing. Obama knows nothing of any of these things either personally or generationally having no black people in his heritage who suffered American slavery.

We should call things as they are. Obama simply hates capitalism and is embarrassed about his participation in America. He has worked very hard at purposely trying to break this nation financially. For people to keep pretending either that he is an idiot and just doesn't know what to do is for them to put their heads in the sand. He is following his Marxist, Maoist ideology and is trying to ruin this nation economically. I fear there are many in congress who support him in this.

Obama has had ties to the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee (DSOC) and it is admitted that rather than be a separate party they have made it a point to infiltrate the Demcrat party and have apparently been quite successful.

Tom Hayden who was a member of Students for Economic Democracy said: "Communism is one of the options that can improve people's lives," and Jane Fonda's public utterances have included her statement that "We chould strive toward a socialist society - all the way to communism." The Manchurian President by Aaron Klein p 37.

Obama has clear stated that he believes in redistribution of wealth, let's call this what it is communism.

Obama has said to his Czars (unelected officials) that he wants them to find every way possible to get around congress and impliment what he wants, which so far as been as much spending and as many regulation as possible to put as much pressure on both small and large businesses as possible. Does any of this sound like he's really trying to help America or hurt it?

What mystifies me even more is how the media can say that the president has a good chance to win. Would any reasonable person keep a CEO on at a company if he did to that company what Obama has done to this country almost single handed. He's been very good at keep his hands off what has happened. He's delegated all of it to Reid and Pelosi, willing accomplices so if something does go wrong they take the fall and he can say he had nothing to do with it even though he promised to do these things during his campaign.

As far as I'm concerned we couldn't get this man out of office fast enough.

Trump Debate

As I've been reading some of the blogs about the latest debate featuring Donald Trump as its moderator I have to admit I tend to agree with Ron Paul. To have the star of a reality TV show hosting such an event does seem to be beneath the dignity of the office these men are running for. It is true that if Trump had not been the star of the reality TV show there is probably no reason that he could not be the moderator, but it is also true that he stated possible intentions to run for the office himself and as such it would seem that alone would disqualify him from moderating this debate. This would be rather like asking a disgruntled employee from a company doing an interview of his previous employer. It just seems to be too much bias and it should be more neutral.

On the other hand when was the last time we saw a debate where the moderators didn't seem to just keep trying to bait the candidates? I find myself wishing that the process had more dignity to it, but it seems that our presidents are rapidly becoming laughing stocks. At every opportunity the media tries to humiliate them and find everything wrong they do. Now I understand that it is the job of the news to report important things regardless who they are about, but it is also important that they do so in a responsible way.

One thing I would definitely like to hear is more real solution, less platitudes and less attacks on the "other guy." I just don't think this practice which has become the center piece of the presidential debates has any place in the debates. If these men have ideas the debates should be the place for them to expound those ideas. Rather than making constant personal attacks and attacks on on their character, let them say what they would do and what they have done.

Did we ever hear during the entire Obama campaign what he had done? No! We never heard what he had done because he hadn't done anything. I fear the same will be true on this next election. Obama really doesn't have much of a record to run on and as such I have little doubt that it will decline into personal attacks, class warfare, and racism.

I suppose if we had Cain still in the race it would be impossible for them to play that card but now that he's out they're going to feel free to use that one over and over. Once again we'll probably end up with nothing but a lot of mud slinging and no real quality of ideas. Obama will have to come up with something new and certainly won't be able to run on "Hope and Change" again.

Nonetheless, having Trump as a moderator really doesn't say a lot for the quality of people that we are finding to interview or moderate these debates. I almost hope that no one even takes the time to listen to them, but of course it will be a media thing to watch. If nothing else people will watch to see if any sparks fly just like other really bad reality TV. This is almost like a surprise appearance among the many debates we've already had and it seems we have yet more to come. I only wonder if we're going to see more like this if it proves to be a big draw.

Occupy Wall Street, The Real Story

I believe the real story regarding occupy Wall Street is being completely missed. It is already plainly understood that most of the protesters, at least those chosen at random for interviews don't really have a clue why they are there. It has also been reported, though only to the extent that they must at least mention it that many of the protesters are being paid to be there.

The real story isn't what the protesters want. They don't know. They're protesting because they were paid to. The media keeps trying to come up with a reason for them to be there since the protesters donn't have one. Without some real coherent reason to be there it is a non-story for the most part.

The real questions that they ought to be asking are: Who is really organizing these protests? What are their goals? What do the real organizers what to accomplish? Why are they trying so hard to stay in the background. How long have they been planning this? They are certainly well organized and have plenty of money and as such they probably also have some clearly stated goals.

The media ought to be doing this kind of reporting, but instead they try to make up a story and a motive for the people who are involved who have no story or motive of their own.

on the few occasions that any serious research has been done it has come out that Marxist, communist and socialist groups are behind this and they are all very anti American in their goals. Once again the media refuses to question the patriotism of these people and instead support that they are upset about the economy and the like. Well this has happened before, but we have never people proposing that the government and the American way of life should be destroyed and replaced with something completely new and foreign to its constitution.

It is most certain they want to see the American government overthrown and are not merely exercising their constitutional rights. They are exercising sedition. The constitution does not allow for the overthrow of the government, as a matter of fact it strictly prohibits it.

We have come to believe a lot of false things about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech does not necessarily apply to the overthrow of the government though the constitution most certainly allows for that if the government becomes oppressive. However, it must be added that this provision is allowed for when the government begins to ignore the constitution it is sworn to uphold. It is not simply to replace the constitution or to choose some completely different and foreign form of government. 

It was reported today on various news websites that there are finally anti occupation groups preparing to demonstrate against the occupy groups in Denver. We can only hope this phenomena spreads as there has already been far too much communist and anti-capitalist stuff coming out of the OWS groups as it is. No one wants to call those groups what they are, but it is clear they are anti-capitalist and there for are directly opposed to the many freedoms that are essential to the United States and our way of life.

OWS seems to think the answer more and ever more regulation. Regulation always means the loss of some freedom or liberty you had before. The more regulations you have the harder it becomes to do anything. It is because we are not realistic about this truth that we have already lost so many of the freedoms and rights we once had. People think they still have property rights, but just try and cut down a tree on your property without the approval of some government official and see what happens. Try to grow something on your property that has not been approved and see what happens. Try to add some extension or make some improvement to your home without the ok from a government official and see what happens. This list is unending of what you must or may do with your property to the point where you can hardly do anything you want unless you get the government to give you the ok. This is only dealing with property rights. The list of other government regulation on what you can eat, where you can eat it, when you can eat, whether you can smoke or drink what you want and where you want it. All of these things are supposedly in the name of the public good but are they really for our good?

We have representatives who now see their primary job as one of coming up with as many pages of new regulations per year as they can. All of this did not happen at one time. They first found things that sounded rather legitimate and helpful for the public protection and with each infringement took another step toward restriction on our liberties. If there is not push back about this very soon only one of two things can happen. Either we will see some kind of violent revolt against this or we will simply give in and see our liberties perish. I for one am not excited about either of those possibilities.

The OWS people as has been said are trying to get as many government regulations as they can manage because at their root they are communists and socialists and are not at all for liberty. They view liberty as nothing but bad making it all to easy for people to do as they please assuming that will always be the worst thing and that the "government" always knows what is best for us. They seem to forget that the goverment is made up of people just as fallible and greedy as the people they are expected to regulate.

It is for this reason that I must admit I am a little excited to hear that at least some counter demonstrations are expected in Denver and I hope they will spread to other places. I am not hoping for open confrontation so much as I am that the counter demonstrations will be very clear in their message and thus be a stark contrast with the message of the OWS groups. It is also my hope that they might actually shame the OWS people to go back home. So far the OWS groups have more or less encountered the same kind of opposition that the Kent State protests did and the anti-Viet Nam protests did; which is to say they didn't encounter any opposition at all and thus lent an air of legitimacy to their cause. If people had criticized protestors at Kent State as unpatriotic and cowardly things may have been different.

It must be realized though as well that these counter demonstrations may have an unexpectedly bad result which is that they will galvanize the OWS people to actually come up with a stance that causes them to actually have a cause and gain a message where they had none before. If this happens we could find things getting very tense very quickly. Even though things may become very intense from this it is still something that needs to happen. The American people need to rise up in such numbers against OWS that they thoroughly understand their cause is not, and will not be the cause of the American people. It is clear that a stand must be made and if one is not made we may end up with something far worse than the riots at Kent State. Even back then they didn’t have every manner of crime happening. They didn’t have people simply occupying areas for months on end with no permits and no reason to be there. The people at least had a clear message that was more than simple chaos for chaos’ sake.

I only hope we will see more of this since it is certainly well past time at this point. I think it may have lasted as long as it did with no counter demonstrations only because people thought they would burn out on what they were doing and then it turned out that they were not. They have continued and seem to be both funded as well as supported by our progressive representatives such that they feel empowered to continue as long as they like.  This ought to cause all of us a great deal of concern because it means that those in government mirror their views and are always will or even complicit in seeing the government gain this kind of control. This is a bad sign and we should pay a lot of attention and start getting organized the way Denver is doing.

Romney The Media Favorite, NO MATTER WHAT!

It is clear even listening to Fox News that they have decided Romney is the one to run against Obama no matter who the people actually want. Why do I say this? Well, let’s take a look at the basic reporting since this whole thing has started. In spite of the fact that Romney has never really been in the lead they feel he has the best chance to win against Obama. They constantly talk of Romney as man to beat, even though once again he’s never really been in the lead.

Do you have a talk about a man who is at best in second place as being the man to beat? Of course we don’t talk this way but apparently FOX News and the other media outlets do talk this way. The media rave when Romney is at 20%-25% and yet they brush off as only temporary when others have more? Does this show they are treating the others with a different standard? I would say that’s the case.

Consider how quickly they’ve forgotten Cain even though it’s now been more than 2 weeks without a word from his accusers. The whole situation seems to have just evaporated. If there really had been something there it would have exploded by now. As we all know the accusation is better than the actual crime when it comes to destroying someone’s reputation. Did the media bother to do their due diligence before running those reports? No! But then they rarely do. They care more about the sensationalism than the reality.

As at the beginning Cain’s percentages have dropped off mostly due to there not being an ounce of reporting on him since the allegations of his sexual harassment. We need to keep in mind that at least up to this point that’s exactly what they are, allegations. There have been no formal charges, but then as with many harassment suits there rarely are. The company settles and the person stays quiet. To me this says they are not nearly so interested in justice as in money.

So why is there this great ongoing love affair with Romney. As little reporting as possible is being done about his liberal leanings. In many ways it reminds of McCain. They seem to think the only one that can beat Obama is another liberal. The reality is that even such groups as FOX News are generally not in favor of true conservatism. They are better than the rest for the most part except I can’t help but keep thinking about the wolf in sheep’s clothing. They are determined to try to convince us that a person with real conservative values couldn’t possibly win the White House. I personally do not believe this is true. I think most people in the nation hold to the values of the conservatives and could certainly get behind a conservative candidate.

Even FOX News either supports or has bought into the idea that the fringe elements in society are somehow main stream. Homosexuality is not the norm. Though many support abortion as a right of the woman I think there is hardly a person out there who does not recognize that the life growing inside a woman is a baby otherwise it would not be any more of a choice than cutting off your fingernail (as the abortion rights people like to compare the fetus). Though a growing number of people have become dependent on the government through welfare and the like I don’t believe that most people even those people feel it is really right to spend your life living off other people. What people are opposed to is the hyper conservatism that these people are painted as having. Are any of these people running for office really that hyper-conservative.

It is such a shame that people are made to feel that ethics and morality are in some way shameful or something to be hidden. Yet the people who are the most immoral and stand for the things that most fly in the face of the constitution and our founding documents are bold as can be to declare unconstitutional views. When you try to corner them they are not even bold enough to answer a single question straightly. All they do is dance around the issue and avoid ever really answering it at all. In many cases they actually go on to answer or talk about something that has nothing to do with the question that was being asked.

Enough with trying to find reasons why Romney’s flip-flops were not just that, or why his ultra liberal creation of Romney care is somehow different in intent from Obama’s. He expresses that his is only state wide and therefore not a violation of the constitution, but the intent was clearly the same that the government is responsible for our health care, our retirement, certainly for feeding us with welfare. What more is left for the government to take care of, and yet he’s not a LIBERAL????

All of this being said I really wish the media would simply print or say what these men say or believe or stand for as well as filling us in on their records of voting and speeches they have given in the past. If they did this they would not even have the time to keep trying to convince us which one they want to see win. This is not even their proper place as reporters.

Let them get back to the business of reporting and get out of the business of opinion. This includes Most especially FOX News which though probably the most balanced or at least A balance to the other Media outlets is still far too busy with opinion. They simply can't let go that Romney is not the top dog. They want him to be and like McCain keep hoping he'll do something to justify their faith in him so they can run with it even more, but so far they have shown a complete unwillingness to let Romney go and give the other people their fair shake, some of whom you don't even hear.

Please media out there start doing geniuine reporting

Corruption in High Places

It seems it is reaching the point where we are so used to hearing about the corruption in our leaders that we've not only become numb to it, but have even come to expect it. As a result of what is becoming a tradition, it is now becoming a goal of many people to say whatever they need to say to get in politics just so they can get some of that gravy train for themselves. the problem with this is that it makes it more acceptable every time we allow it to happen again without saying a word about it.

Solyndra is just one example that we're coming to know about. Sadly I fear there will be many others that we will hear about in the near future, but with each one we do less and less rather than really dealing with it.

The morality of our nation is rapidly crumbling which is at least as important and from where I stand more important than what is happening to the economy. If something isn't done about the moral erosion of our nation soon we will most certainly pass into history as yet another failed political experiment. The sad thing is that it won't be the fault of the form of government that we've chosen it will be the fault of the people who allowed our leaders to take away from us the liberty our founding fathers fought so hard to give us.

One of the chief means by which this corruption is now happening on a regular basis is through the use of the executive order. Not just this president, but previous presidents have used this tool (nowhere found in the constitution) to make their own laws. The problem is that it has rarely been opposed by those in congress. The congress is supposed to be the ones that make laws not the president. It is the president's job to execute the laws not to make them. The problem is that more and more presidents have been using executive orders to create their own law and thus accomplish things that are supposed to be left up to the congress to do.

Another form of corruption or at least a corrupting influence is the regular nearly univeral use of exempting congress from the laws they pass on the rest of us. In this way they are free to write pretty much anything they want without concern for what it really means to the rest o us. This was never meant to be the case.

What if anything can be done about these things? Well for one congress could make a law that goes retroactive declaring that all previous laws passed by them apply to congress. Of course the likelihood of that is fairly small. Judges could rule those laws unconstitutional under equal protection which would most certainly solve the problem. The same is true of executive orders. The judicial branch should be involved in these things and sadly for the most part they are busy sticking it to the rest of us rather than keeping the lawmakers in line.

It is equally disturbing that some people are bothered that Obama and the left/liberals/communists/socialists have not gone far enough in that direction. Don't any of these people realize that socialism is against the constitution and therefore by its very nature treason. Our founding fathers understood that to support another form of government other than the constitution was paramont to treason.

Consider the following quote by Thomas Jefferson;

"I have spoken of the Federalists as if they were a homogeneous body, but this not the truth. Under that name lurks the heretical sect of monarchists. Afraid to wear their own name, they creep under the mantle of Federalism, and the Federalists, like sheep permit the fox to take shelter among them, when pursued by dogs."


"These men have no right to office. If a monarchist be in office, anywhere, and it be known to the president, the oath he has taken to support the Constitution imperiously requires the instantaneous dismissal of such office; and I hold the President criminal if he permitted such to remain. To appoint a monarchist to conduct the affairs of a republic is like appointing an atheist to the priesthood."

Today it is not monarchists, though I suppose in some ways it is, since socialism and communism invariably lead to dictatorship, but today it is socialists and communists hiding among the democrat and republican parties. They like to call themselves progressives, but this is just another word for socialist or communist.

When you have congresswomen suggesting that we suspend elections, or the president himself stating that he wishes things were the way they are in china so he could get something done, the red flags ought to be shooting up everywhere. Why would we ever allow communists, Marxists, or socialists to hold any prominent position in our government since it is directly opposed to their oath to uphold and defend the constitution? It was for this reason that Jefferson said they should be removed from office.

We are now saddled with a position where we have voted in a president with these leanings who has in turn placed many cabinet members under him to make sure the goals of the communists, Marxists and socialists are carried out to whatever extent they may be.

It is absurd that we should even be considering this many for another term of president. This is a man who has violated almost every principle and ethic our nation has stood for. He has turned on and insulted almost every ally we have, he has stated that he believes in the redistribution of wealth quite openly with almost no fanfare from the media. He has put as many things in place as he can to try to make sure that redistribution happens and yet we are actually not only considering him for another term, but people are actually speaking as though he will be hard to beat.

We need to get him and his cabinet out of their positions as quickly as we might.

Herman Cain Left Out in the Cold

Well it seems even FOX News has left Herman Cain our in the cold. All the media has been so infected by the politically correct view that if a charge is made of sexual harassment that it must be true, or at least it should be treated as true till it is proven false.

I recently had to go through a "sensitivity" training that included the whole office because there was probably some charge of sexual harassment leveled against an individual. Party of the training included that if you were even accused of such a terrible crime, that will label you for life, even if there is NO proof you are put on notice and the next charge could mean you are dismissed from your job. I raised my hand and asked if this meant that you were guilty until proven innocent.  The woman teaching the class said of course not, I responded with the question of why you would then be on notice when it has already been stated that there was no evidence of your offense?

There is never any answer to this question. It is simply a given that to be accused of such a thing is as good as to be guilty of it. This is the same thing that is happening with Herman Cain right now. Every one is saying that because so many charges are coming out that it must be true and this is only going to make things harder on him.

I remember a friend at a job I worked at a long time ago being accused of such a thing by one of the girls on the unit. He was immediately removed from his position, suspended, then put on night shifts while the investigation was going on. Almost 2 weeks after the initial report the girl who had accused him told one of the staff that she had lied and just wanted to see how trouble she could get him in. This was a correctional institution. No you have to understand at correctional institutions criminal are not known for their honesty, yet she was immediately believed when the charge was made, but when she recanted they again assumed it must because of intimidation or some such rubbish. So now they didn't believe she was telling the truth about lying, though they were ever so quick to believe the lie. This man, who loved those kids so much that he used to come in on his holidays to do Santa Clause and make Easter dinner out of his own pocket became a pariah. He almost lost his marriage and his job over a lie from an inmate.

It is time that we stopped believing charges with no foundation of evidence simply on the basis that no one would tell a lie about such a thing. Now the same thing is happening to a presidential candidate with a scrutiny never witnessed when Clinton was accused of such a thing and God forbid we should consider how the media tried to cover for Weiner till they knew they simply couldn't any more. Once he saw the media favor waning, that's when he determined that he ought to resign.

In this case we have at least one person who has now accused several different people of sexual harassment all under questionable circumstances. Another woman seems to know Axelrod and yet this doesn't raise any question about her either. Once can only wonder why there are not more questions being raised about the women.

I know the story line reads that if you question the motives of the person bringing the charge that other people will be afraid to step forward if something similar happens to them. If people are really unwilling to level a criminal charge against someone who has committed a crime then there is not much other people can really do about it. At some point it is most certainly approropreate to raise questions about the person bringing the charges against someone.

In this particular case there are at least 2 people who have questionable motives for doing what they're doing. It should also be asked why it is that these people didn't come forward sooner. Everyone seems to treat these women as though they were scared children instead of adults who understand the protection of the law against such criminals.

I understand that an unwanted sexual advance, meaning you ask someone on a date and they say no and you ask another time is now considered a crime in some states. This used to be called persistance. Now it is called a crime. It is a wonder with this fear of being considered a sexual predator for making such advances that anyone actually gets married anymore. Womean want men that are persistent. They want men that know what they want. Yet we now have the situation that men are so afraid to do that, that the entire relationship is now in the hands of the women, at least till men start bringing sexual harrassment lawsuits against them for being persistent.

I feel greatly for Cain becuase of this media lynching he's getting. I understand why he called it what he did, and I think he had every right to call it such. It sure seems like a media lynching to me. Even FOX news has joined the fray, repeating every charge that comes out with no investigation whatever before they repeat what may be the lies. Once the damage is done it's done. Will the media print any retractions? Somehow I doubt the media will do more than a brief snippet advising that new facts have come out, but as I said by the the damage will have already been done.

It is most certainly clear with the incessant hammering at how Romney is still our man that they don't want Cain. He's not the republican's kind of candidate. Why is it that they didn't report the romney situation more as he can't seem to make any headway in his campaign? Or maybe, it doesn't seem that he's really exciting the voters at all? Or maybe, "there's only marginal interest in Romney"? Certainly all of these would have been equally true, yet in almost every story about Romney there is nothing negative to say and they are constantly looking for the bright note in his campaign.

It is for this reason that I say the media  seeks far too much to insert themselves and their desires into the choice of a president. This is not their job. Even FOX News can't resist the incessant drumbeat that Romney still looks like the best bet to beat Obama. They refuse to admit that Obama is in bad shape and keep behaving as though Obama is still in great shape for the presidential run. Do they really think that Americans are not aware of just what Obama is? And of course again the question is why has the media done so little to report about his many socialist and communist relationships? Why have they not reported more on the many socialists and communists he has chosen for his cabinet? These are things that would normally destroy a candidate's chances, but there is still nothing on this from the media.

I understand how hard it can be to prove from a reporting perspective what a candicate believes, but it is certainly not difficult to report about the choices of people he's selected for his cabinet and what their pasts are. It is not difficult to report on Obama's past relationships as well as the various socialist and communist groups he's been involved with. Even out of his own mouth he mentioned that he sought out Marxists and communists to hang out with in college.

Romney has been a constant flip flopper. He proposed and got passed a health care bill that is almost the same as Obama's. He managed to find one way to spin it and the media has since dropped any mention of his healthcare plan. The media has ignored is pro abortion stances and his many other very liberal stances. They ignore the fact that in Massachusetts it is nearly impossible to get elected even as a republican unless you are extremely liberal.

The media, including FOX News keeps seeing for someone who is liberal or "moderate", translation has liberal leanings at least in some things. I believe it is for this reason that they hate Cain so much. He is what he is. He doesn't put on airs. He doesn't pretend to be something he isn't. He's a straight shooter. Yes, sometimes he has not handled the media as well as he might have, but even in this I find it refreshing. The media wants to demand what kind of candidate he's going to be and he reuses to fit in that mold.

The media hype has already started to fall off about the sexual harassment stuff but FOX News is still reporting on it and trying to remind the American people about it, as though this is still something they ought to be concerned about. The real question is, where was their investigative reporting to find out if the allegations were actually true. They just accept what the accuser tells them and as far as they're concerned it must be true till it is proven to be false.

They are also criticizing Herman Cain for his lack of international politics. I can't help but wonder how much experience in this area many of our founding fathers had before they became president. On the other hand our founding fathers didn't have their fingers into every international event going on. Our founding fathers made it quite clear that we should not be heavily involved in other nations nor should we have a ton of treaties making friends of some and enemies of others. Their view would be analogous to Switzerland. Either way there are certainly plenty of other very qualified people Cain can call upon for information. There is certainly no one individual who is completely up to speed on every nation's issues. A wise leaders seeks counsel. This is what the scripture tells us and the fact that Obama would seek counsel is just one more indicator that he is a wise man. Any man who pretends to have all the answers and is up to the job in absolutely every area on his own is a man I do not trust.

Angry Mobs with Special Privileges

Why is it that when it comes to the OWS gang they get all kinds of special privileges not afforded any other group? Is it because they're threatening to become violent? Threatening? They already are violent? Is it simply because they are the opposite of the tea party and as such should be able to do anything they want?

No other group or individual is permitted to simply set up a tent city in any downtown area that I know of, yet these people are allowed to do that with no permits and no charges and nothing whatever is done about it. They harass passers by especially those that disagree with them. They threaten people. There have been cases of rape and theft, they are unsanitary, and the list goes on, but nothing whatever is done to curtail this "right" that only they seem to have. The tea party had to pay for places to congregate. In many cases they were flat out denied permission. So why then is nothing done about the OWS crowd?

I believe the reason for this is that they support the liberal, progressive agenda. They are creating the chaos that the communists, socialist, and Cloward and Pivens group has so longed for. They are precipitating a crisis. This is something the communist, Marxist, progressive democrats have been working toward for a very long time.

I believe those in leadership who support this chaos as an agent of change of tied the hands of law enforcement as well as those in the community charge with maintaining order. The reason is that they have been looking for just this chaos and just this spark for a long time. We have not seen anything like this since the 60's. Then it was about being against the war, now it is simply about being against everything American. Why do we settle for this. Those of us that love our nation and are patriotic do not have some patriotic duty to stand for this. What they are doing is not merely the free exercise of speech. They are preaching the dismantling of our nation. At the very least this borders on conspiracy or sedition.

At one time in our nation these peopl would have been shouted down or shamed into silence, now they boldly proclaim the dismantling of our nation and nothing is said. These people have no vision, and no plan. Their only plan is chaos and as much of the destruction of our nation as they can manage. These tent cities should not be permitted any more than they have ever been permitted in any previous protests. If they want to sleep in the cold, or if they want to come back every day that is fine, but why are they permitted to simply set up tents and start living there?

Clearly these people have found sympathy with our representatives and as such have been awarded privileges never before given to any group of protesters.

Most of us have been patiently waiting and staying silent hoping they'll just burn themselves out, but what we don't realize is that these people are both useful and idiots, just want Marxists have been looking for. as long as they get paid to stay there they will.

No one should fool themselves, they are being paid to be there. Though I haven't seen any statistics on this, my impression off the ones I've seen first hand is that these people are nothing but the homeless people of our cities who are happy to have something to do as well as be visible. These are people who have had a sense of entitlement for a very long time and still do. They feel that everyone owes them a free ride.

Whether they are homeless or not they certainly behave as though they were. These are the same sort of people who try to hit you up for loose change or even dollar bills now. They act almost offended if you don't give them something as though they had a right to it and you were somehow being unfair if you didn't give it to them. They should instead have a sense of shame of demanding something from you without offering the slightest thing in return. It is not as though they have done anything to deserve it.

It is an odd phenomenon that people always try to act as though they don't have something to give to panhandlers instead of just telling them they don't want to, or even going the extra step of advising these people that it is wrong to live a life of begging without adding anything to the society they live in.

Our nation has become a nation of takers who have no shame about the fact that they are simplying users and takers who offer nothing to their fellow citizens in return. Yet what happens? Those who refuse them are the ones that are condemned instead of addressing the taker mentality they exhibit.

OWS and the Tea Party

I recently found this list on the net and found it very interesting in the light of the way the media is trying to paint OWS as being the same as the Tea Party. This list alone would be enough to show the two movements are nothing alike. It is also quite clear that the media is quite unwilling to treat the two movements with any level of equality.

Consider the list below of various things that have happen with OWS. Ask yourself how much you've heard about these things and how often. Then ask yourself how much you heard one singular incident that often proved not even to be true broadcast day after day till they could find another to beat us over the head with.

Recently, President Obama said that the Occupiers are just like the Tea Party. Does anyone really believe this is true. To my knowledge there is not one instance of the any Tea Party gathering causing disruption of business or even leaving such a mess behind as it seems follows every liberal/progressive protest group. Maybe this is because all of these groups really have NO respect for either their country or their fellow citizens. They certainly seem to display this kind of contempt by the way they treat any who disagree with them, as well as the extreme messes they leave behind at their rallies.

In another article the following quote was heard. "While speaking at Virginia Democratic Senate Caucus fundraiser today, former President Bill Clinton claimed that no successful country on earth operates on the notion that government is the problem." Apparently Bill Clinton never read the founding fathers or has any concept of why the constitution was written the way it was. It was written the way it was to limit the government. The founding fathers viewed the government as, at best, being a necessary evil. They fully understood the need to curtail its powers.

This is apparently the same mindset the 1% at OWS (for certainly they don't represent the 99% or there would be more than 200 million people in the streets.) believe. They believe government is the answer to everything.

Even though they are crying for government intervention on everything under the sun it is odd that they do not want the government or even the police involved when it comes to reports of sexual assault by fellow demonstrators. They say they are going to handle it themselves. I can't help but wonder just what that means, and they're not saying. Are they going to become vigilantes are they going to just give counseling? Are they going to track down the person or people doing these things and harass them? Are just going to chase them off and leave it at that? They have no answer for any of this. So why then don't they want these things reported? I believe the reason not to report these things is because they want to try to maintain a front that they are like the tea party which had virtually no problems whatever except from the violent extremist left who was determined to find or create something wrong with the way they were doing thing.

The Occupy Baltimore group advised people not to report sexual assault or rape, but rather to report it to them so they can get the perpetrator counseling. This is so absurd it's crazy. They don't even provide counseling for the victim but they do for the perpetrator.

This is just one more sign of the lawless attitudes of the protesters. They do not feel there should be any law but their own. This is of course the very definition of anarchy.

It is also surprising how many groups such as Socialists, Marxists, communists, Maoists, American Socialists, Nazis, and any other similar ilk not mentioned above have stated their support of the OWS protests.

This aspect to OWS is also being under reported or not reported at all. Oddly the media tried to paint the Tea Party activists as Nazis, with not one shred of evidence yet we have a situation where the American Nazi party has come out and said that they totally support the actions of the OWS people and yet there is nothing reported on this. This only goes to show the willful coverup of the media on this issue. They don't want to do anything that might put OWS in a bad light.

Destroying the Economy on Purpose

World Net Daily had a report today titled "Obama Now Accused of Destroying U.S. Economy on purpose" I personally can't believe it took this long for them to come to that conclusion. Either he's doing it on purpose or the man is an idiot. I don't believe he is the latter.

The above revelation is rather like saying Obama is a socialist. You only need to look at all the people he hung out with in his youth, the causes he was involved in, his statements about the constitution, his statements about redistribution of wealth and the various positions he's filled in the white house, almost all of them socialists, communists and Maoists or Marxists. Would a capitalist and constitutional supporter really pick these people for the highest cabinet positions? Again you have to say he's either doing it on purpose or he is fool.

What will it take before people wake up and realize what Obama is? He is a man who has shown his disdain for this nation with his various apology tours as well as the statements by his wife, the teaching he sat under at Rev. Wright's church and again the list goes on.

It is bad enough that we have such a man in congress but the truly frightening thing is that so many people voted him in in spite of these things and that even still many people do not see any problem with this. They look at his views as only being another world philosophy.

The willful ignorance of what the form of government Obama has supported ought to frighten all Americans. He is destroying our nation by leaps and bounds and still people don't seem to care. It is as though they think that there is plenty of time for things to get fixed. They either don't see how close to the edge our nation is or they just don't care and welcome change, any change, thinking foolishly that things couldn't be worse than they are now. This, in my opinion, is equally ignorant and ignore history. Can anyone point to a socialist or communist nation in the world that has really worked out better for the people than what we have here in the United States.

Does this mean we're perfect? By no means does this mean that we're a perfect nation. We've certainly had our issues. Everyone loves to point to slavery and that is certainly one of them. But at the same time they seem to ignore just how far we've come on that issue. We had a war of brothers fighting against brothers quite literally to end that practice and it was white people giving their lives to make sure those things changed.

Every nation has had it's black marks. But there has never been a nation like the United States in the history of the world. It is something we should be proud of. Before this we have been proud of it, but now Obama has made it fashionable to do nothing but ridicule our nation.

I only wish more of the media would be willing to report on the real agenda and methods of Obama. He is now trying to do an end run around the congress on his latest stimulus bill. He can't even get his own party to vote for the bill and yet he behaves as though only the republicans are responsible for his failure. What he presented wasn't a jobs bill at all it was nothing less than just another stimulus/spending bill thinly disguised as a jobs bill. For the president to feel that the constitution is an obstacle that needs to be gotten around is astounding. He seems to feel that constitution just shouldn't apply to him. He's telling his people to find some way to do administratively everything they can that congress won't do. Since when was this a power of the president. He uses executive order like a dictator. For him executive orders aren't merely a way to enhance existing laws but rather a way to create new laws and sadly congress is abdicating its responsibility and allowing him to do it. The reason for this is the number of progressive, read commmunist/socialist/Marxist representatives who have also been installed over the years.

We desperately need to clean house and get these people out of office as quickly as we can. I'm surprised with some of the things Obama has done that he hasn't already been brought up on impeachment charges. There are certainly enough offenses to the constitution to allow for it. Something needs to be done to rein in this president.

Most Transparent Ever!

Obama promised us the most transparent government ever, yet we have gotten the exact opposite from every area of his administration, from the congress and from the Obama as well. When people want to see his original birth certificate, he stonewalls and has armies of lawyers protecting it so no one can actually it. When people want to see his college information, yet more stonewalling.

The democrat controlled congress did almost nothing in open. They were so secretive that they did not even include the republicans in their talks on the health care plan they were determined to jam down our throats. All they would tell us is: "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it!", which of course makes it sound like portions of it were so secret that even they didn't know what was in it. For all we know they weren't even really involved in writing it.

Now we have the issue of the Fast and Furious scandal, again we have the Attorney General stonewalling, lying or at least having a very bad memory. We have the president appealing a judge's ruling that he has to turn over the White House visitors list. We have so much redaction in documents that you can hardly even tell what's in them and the list goes on. Does this sound like the most open government ever?

We have the president involving us in another conflict in Uganda, again seemingly without congress. We have a president telling his people to find some way to administratively get around congress to pass at least practically those things in his "jobs stimulus bill" that he knows congress won't pass. We have another representative suggesting that they need to go to "extra-constitutional methods" to get things done around congress.

Where is the media in all this? Where are those in the news ferreting out the truth, which is their job? Apparently they are nowhere to be found and this includes FOX News to a large degree.

Not only are Obama and his administration covering up all kinds of things they're doing, but the media is helping cover up what's going on. They help provide cover for all the things he's doing wrong. In their minds it seems unthinkable that the first black president should be found to be anything but a shining example of the black America no matter what kind of jobs he's doing. This alone shows that they are not really interested in blacks being treated exactly like other races, because if they did they would be after him just as much as they've been after other presidents yet they have not been after him and have even done all they can to help him spin everything he's done in a positive light.

this is really what we want in either our government or our news media?

When even congressmen have called on the president to explain things to them he simply stonewalls them or ignores them altogether. Worse still the congressmen don't press the issue or call him to account, instead they just let him get away with it and stay quiet about the fact.

I wonder sometimes just how relevant the congress is any more. They have taken steps to do things that are not constitutional or at the very least dangerous to the constitution. This budget supercommittee has no place in congress at all constitutionally speaking. Each step away from the constitution seems to be one more thing lost never to be recovered. The attitude is, "look we made this change and it doesn't seem to have hurt us any." and thus that change stays in  place and they look for yet others along that same line to do. It will not be long before our constitution is no longer recognizable as the one our founding fathers left us.

My question is do we really want 4 more years of an administration that is both corrupt, and that despises our constitution and views it merely as an obstacle to get around?

Useful Idiots

Marx would be proud of the way the Wall Street protestors have been manipulated. These are the very people he referred to as useful idiots. Most of these people don't even know why they're their. There is certainly no unity of reason for being there. They are just there to protest something, anything! They are their to cause trouble and most of them don't even know that this was organized and encouraged on line by our wonderful socialist/Marist/communist progressives.

They are advocating the overthrow of the American system of government and business, but not one of these people stops to consider what would take its place. Since the protestors have not been able to come up with any real reason they're there the media is now trying to come up with one for them. Of course much of the media is also of the Marxist/socialist/communist/progressive persuasion. They understand that the protestors are beginning to sound like the useful idiots they are so they're racing to come up with something that will unify them and make them sound like they have some real purpose.

The protestors care nothing for the small businesses they are damaging by their very presence. They think they should have a right to anything they want simply because they don't have. They don't feel they should work for it, because again these idiots think that anyone else that has something must have also been given it and therefore they have every right to take it!

I'm sure these people would be more than happy to get angry about being called idiots, but they certainly aren't smart enough to realize what a great system of government the constitution has afforded this country and they're willing to throw it away, even though most of them probably don't even know what's actually in it or why.

If these people are so sold on the idea of communism or socialism, there are certainly plenty of other places in the world they could go to live in their "utopian communist country". These people recognize how all these other examples of what they're screaming for have failed and that's why they don't move there, yet they somehow think they'll do it right in this nation. Why don't they go to one of those countries and just tweak what that nation has and show us how much better it is? Well the reason for this is simple. In those nations you get thrown in jail just for suggesting they might not be doing things right. These people also don't consider any of the consequences of their proposals. All they care about is taking something from someone else in the hope they will get it.

These idiots don't seem to realize that when the government takes money from people they keep control of it. They don't give it to someone else. They also don't consider that even if they did get some of that money and actually start to do pretty well themselves they would have to have it taken away.

The entire concept of communism, socialism, Marxism, and progressives is that everyone should be equally poor. Not that we should all be wealthy. They may have looked at the theories of Marx, but even this I doubt. They are like many of the young people from the 60's who joined communes seeking try out communism on a small scale to show that it could work. Of course all those communes ultimately failed because people are not built that way. Every time the communist experiment has been tried either on large scale or on small scale it has failed. It only remains in effect through force and intimidation. Our system has survived and thrived for 200 years and been willingly accepted by the people till the communists came along and tried to destroy it. The communists have been trying to do this for a very long time. This is nothing new, though it is possibly closer than it has ever been before to bringing this country.

We never had a truly socialist president before, at least not like the one we have now. He has gone a long way to promoting his socialist agendas. He has managed to pass mandatory healthcare. He has managed to borrow and spend this nation to the brink of destruction. He now openly advocates that his administration should find some way to pass the latest stimulus by going around congress because they're just in the way.

Yes all these people doing the wall street protests are nothing but useful idiots not having any clue about what they're doing, why they're doing, whose agenda it really is, or what the consequences of it will be. They are also such idiots that they won't even listen to reason. They only deal in platitudes and slogans.

In many cases these people have not even known what was written on the signs that were shoved into their hands by the organizers. Now if that doesn't define someone as being an idiot I'm not sure what does.

Racism, The Only Defense of Obama

Obama can't run on his record. he can't bring reason to the table as to how higher taxes and the out of control spending are or will help the nations joblessness, so the only thing left to him and those who adore him is the charge of racism. Is it any wonder then that the newest candidate and arguably the most likely to win again him is already having charges of racism leveled against him.
As is usual there doesn't really need to be any evidence, the charge is enough. It is naturally assumed that anyone from the south must have at least some racism. It is od how these people can't see that such a thing is bigotry. And of course if you don't like a person who happens to be black it can't be because you simply don't like them, don't care for their views, and don’t care for their actions or anything else. Not like a person who is black can only be because you are a racist.

If this line of reasoning is to be considered valid then it is clear those leveling the charge must be racist and hate white people. By leveling the charge they are already declaring their love of black people and therefore anything they say about white people can only be because of racism. It is odd who we can see the absurdity of such a thing and even they will declare such a thing absurd, but when you turn it around it is perfectly reasonable to these people.

I keep hoping for some voice of sanity from the left, but it seems inspite of how Alan Combs uses sarcasm about it, that someone will stop walking lockstep and just defending the democrats no matter what they do and no matter how absurd the defence.

Are there no people among the democrats that will condemn these charges of racism? It does seem awfully early in the race to already be playing the race card. Usually they save the name calling only as a last ditch effort. Maybe they're doing this because they realize they are already out of explanation and excuses for what Obama has done and is still trying to do. Maybe they have already recognized they are defending the indefensible. So far I have heard no reasoned approach to how taxing the rich or any other class of people will produce jobs. I have heard no sound reasoning of how borrowing more money will produce jobs. I have heard no sound reasoning on how forcing everyone to pay more in taxes whether they use health care or not is going to either help being the price of health care donw or save us any money.

Since the left seems to have no reasoned defense for most of what they're doing and don't want to expose their Marxist/communist ideology the only thing left to them is to start wielding the charge of racism.

Sometimes I almost wonder if Obama doesn't revel in being black because he considers that a defense against every charge and he uses it that way.

It is interesting how the media has purposely left out a word when reporting what Perry said about the Federal Reserve. He did not say it would be considered treasonous. He said it could ALMOST be considered treasonous. These two things are not the same, but then the media isn't known for getting it right even 10% of the time when they have a horse in the race.

It is clear the media gets it wrong more often than they get it right and for this reason alone we need to start finding more reliable sources of news. Instead of listening to all their inflammatory rhetoric regarding racism, misquotes, and polls that have questions set up in such a way to get the result they want, we need to start paying attention to what we know is true.

Even as our nation is falling apart financially we seem to have a president to who determined to tear it further apart and devide people against each other in every way he can. He is happy to use race, money, party, sex, and the list goes on. To our current president it seems nothing is more important than dividing the American people against each other and thus weakening us even more.

If our nation is to have any hope of surviving we must begin to turn around this trend as quickly as we can and begin to recognize anew that we are all Americans and to see that is what binds us together. If they cannot overcome our unity we may yet prevail. If they manage to divide us sufficiently it will take very little to break our nation apart and separate us from that which has made us great for so long.

It is clear that both racism and in many cases reverse racism are rampant in the White House, the administration and among our representatives. Such people as Maxine Waters revel in the racism they help create. It is part of the way they control those blacks they have become the plantation overseers of. When I first heard this kind of talk I thought it was absurd till I started to consider how the black people in our nation are being constantly taught by their representatives to settle for far less and then to hate the slave owners. The reality is that people like Maxine Waters, are incompetent and in many cases totally unfit for their position, but they have been picked for those positions to keep their constituents in line, but constantly talking against the "slave owners" which is everyone that is white, no matter what their position. At the same time they promise their mostly black and Latino constituents that they will fight for their rights and that they will do something about it, but all they do is promise to get them more welfare and even to help them get on welfare. Now let me ask, "No matter how good welfare is, is it really such a wonderful lifestyle that people want to life like that for the rest of their lives?"

This is the reverse racism to which I refer. This is black people helping to keep other black people down. All they do is feed them hate and dependence on them as the only people that can help. They teach dependence and unfortunately their constituents buy it.

Their constituents are clearly no better off now than they were 10 years ago, but still the people continue to vote in these people who do nothing for them but make hollow promises. I wonder how long they would put up with the same non-performance from white people.

Now we have the black caucus saying that if the president was not black the blacks would be marching on Washington, but it is more important to them to support him no matter what job he does just because he's a brother. This shows the completely ignorance and hypocrisy they walk in. If you try to point it out they simply either refuse to answer or certainly have no reasonable answer except something that amounts to, "The white man has kept us down for long enough and now THEY"RE tryin to ruin a brother." It is as though it never occurs to them that maybe it isn't the "white man's" fault. They never consider that maybe Obama really is doing a really crappy job. don't they understand that in the long run what this means is that for decades everyone will talk about what happened when the first black man got in office and what they say won't be good.
