Islam and the Media

It would seem the media is so married to the politically correct idea that Islam for the most part is peaceful that they just can’t face the facts. They have also so accepted the idea that we must live in constant fear of offending them, which is of course just what they want.

Islam has been brilliant in working the media war against the west. They know how politically correct we are and how afraid we are of offending anyone so they simply take offense at even the slightest disagreement with them. For some reason the media would never dream of saying an abortion clinic had it coming to them because they so offend Christians. They certainly wouldn’t say theaters have it coming to them because they showed The Last Temptation of Christ. They wouldn’t justify Christians or Catholics for burning down museums for showing Christ in piss or Marry in elephant dung, but for some reason when the Muslims become violent over a cartoon or a movie, well we brought it on and we need to be more careful about this because people are getting hurt. They’re not wrong for what they did, we’re wrong for provoking them.

As absurd as this mindset is it is still the accepted mindset and the media can’t seem to get away from him. For more than a week now they’ve have started almost every report about the Middle East insanity with some mention of that youtube video. Even when they are reporting it’s not because of the video, still the discussion revolves around the video leaving you with the impression that is what it’s about.

It is quite clear that the media has been completely intimidated by the tactics of Islam. They like to pretend it is out of respect for the religion, because after all they are so respecting of religions. We all know this isn’t true, but this doesn’t matter to them. They are going to continue stating the lie in the hopes that we will eventually believe it. It is not out of respect it is out of fear for what will happen to them if they say the slightest thing critical of Islam. They are most certainly not afraid of doing this to Christians, Catholics, Mormons or even Jehovah’s Witnesses. They feel quite confident in criticizing those religions because they know they won’t be killed or have their building’s burned down.

They also pretend it is because they don’t want everyone to hate all Muslims. I believe there are Muslims that are basically good people, but then I also believe it is not because of Islam that they are basically good, but in spite of it. I have met many Muslims who call themselves such but upon asking them if they’re read the Koran they are no different than many people who claim Christianity as their religions. They think they are of a particular religion for no other reason than that their parents were that religion. These people are more secular moralists than they are of the particular religion they claim as their own.

People who like to insist that Islam is a religion of peace have learn not read its core documents. If they had they wouldn’t say that at all. You must always look at what the core documents of any religion say to determine what the religion believes. If the people believe something different than what is in the core documents of the religion then they do not belong to that religion no matter what they say. If you say you are a Christian but you really believe that you can save yourself or earn your way to God through good works, then you may still be a very moral person, but you are not what the bible defines as a Christian. The religion is defined by its core documents not by what individuals who deviate from those documents believe.

Sometimes I wonder why they call it Muslim “Extremism”. This sort of term indicates it is out of the normal way a group behaves and implies it is a bit unexpected from a given group, yet there is little to no question in anyone’s mind that if you criticize Islam and specifically make fun of Mohammad your life will be in danger for the rest of your life, riots will break out, people will die, and all of this will be justified in the name of Allah, their god of “peace”. If it is so predictable and so completely un-condemned by those who claim it as their religion then it is not extremism, it is simply the norm. You can hardly find a single Muslim that will condemn what is going on. This being the case it means that they accept what is going on as justifiable and a normal response on their part.

The logic of this does say that this is normal for the religion and considered completely acceptable by those who practice. The media can’t even find but a handful of American Muslims who will condemn. To me what this means is that those who are for peace in Islam are the extremists, at least among their own kind.

But of course we can’t expect the media to see, recognize or report what is obvious to anyone with one eye and have a brain. There is clear another agenda at work here and it is something that ought to concern every American.

Where are the Moderate Muslims?

What I would like to know is, where are all the supposed moderate Muslims? We are constantly told that the extremists only make up 10% of Muslims, so where are the 90% of the Muslims that oppose what is going on in the Middle East? What have we not been able to find a single one for the media to put in front of us who will genuinely condemn what is going on? They keep telling us what a religion of peace and understanding Islam is yet they can't find a single one who will condemn what is going on!

This is an outrage and should be branded as such by the media, but then they are far too intent on going after the evil Christian that killed muslims almost 1400 years ago. That's an aweful long time to hold a grudge! The thing that would be funny if not for the trajedy is that they ought to save some of their righteous indignation for the Muslims that are killing people right now!

The reality is that there is not another religion on planet earth that starts killing people over a movie. I can't help but wonder if the media or the United States as a whole would have been so "understanding" had Christians done the same thing when the "Last Temptation of Christ" came ou several years back. Instead they would have said how it proves that we haven't changed and that it just proves that Christians have just been pretending to be peaceful and every other manner of attack!

It is long past time for political correctness. Our Ambassadors have been killed. This alone is grounds for war yet the our joke of a president thanks them for their condolances! What the heck is that?! Where there ought to be oughtrage all our leaders can do is express understanding for how our actions have caused all these problems.

Hillary clinton almost went as far as bemoaning the fact that we have freedom of speech and that there wasn't much they could do about it, as though they wish they could do something to people who actually use the freedom that GOD gave us. I suppose they actually think that free comes comes from God.

We are about to lose our freedoms and we don't even recognize that our leaders are speaking so openaly against those very freedoms they swore to uphold.

If the Muslims can't come up with anything more than condolences for the atrocities they're committing then it is time we start recognize that the "moderates" are the excepion not the rule! We seem to have it exactly backward. I wonder at the number of reporters that would have us believe that Muslims are basically peaceful. This narrative has been going on since the attack on 9/11. How many of them have even bothered to read the Koran to find out what is actually in it? Do any of them really even understand what is said in it. Since it is their core religious document we ought to consider what it says very carefully because even as the bible is the core document for Christians and Jews so it is with Islam. We also need to look at very closely at the religion's founder to see what kind of man he was. After all don't all those sensitive reporters out there constantly consider what kind of many Jesus and other founders of the bible are?

How on earth does Obama defend what Muslims did? Does he then feel that we would only have brought it on ourselves if Christians did something similar because of the picture of Christ in piss, or the Catholics for Mary in elephant dung? This is the most absurd reasoning I can ever remember hearing. Why is Obama trying to justify what Muslims are doing and condemn Americans for nothing more than making a movie? Maybe he thinks Mormons would be justified if they went on a rampage of disrespect being afforded them in a musical now out? I don't hear him condemning any of those things?

It is more politically correct hypocrisy. See the following article for more on this hypocrisy

...Like Rape Being Caused by Provocative Dress

Why are we so willing to always take the blame for others' actions. It may go to our absurd understanding of psychology. The reason you behave the way you do is because others made you.

I wonder sometimes in our politically correct country how many would be willing to say that the reason that a woman was raped was because she dressed nicely or even provocatively? Or maybe saying the reason a man committed murder is because someone made fun of his mother? Would we really accept this kind of reasoning? If not then why do we not only accept it, but even offer it when Muslims murder people and try to blame it on a video?

I wonder would the same people like Geraldo Rivera be so willing to defend Christians if they burned down a museum for showing showing that picture of Christ in piss? or maybe the Catholics going crazy for the picture of Mary in elephant dung?I think we all recognize that we would not accept this as explainable behavior. We would be so quick to condemn it that it would make your head spin, yet the media and the government is unwilling to apply the same standard to the Muslims.Well we are told we need to understand their culture is different than ours. This is the most ridiculous reasoning I've heard.

Isn't it about time we called this what it is. Backward, barbaric, atrocious and every other word we can think of to condemn such behavior. They certainly have no tolerance and no sensitivity and what I have to say is enough of pretending to have the high ground by not condemning it!

We really need to man up and call what they did terrorism and an attack on the American people/ What they did in any other time would be an act of war! People really need to look at the pictures on the net and the videos of what they did to our Ambassador and remember that he is an official representative of the United States chosen to essential speak for the president.

Voter ID Hypocrisy

Following are some of the false and hypocritical reasons given for making sure that we don't really know who's voting and if they are actual citizens.

  • “Unfair voting laws are being passed by politicians who are trying to manipulate the system for their own benefit – because they don’t like what voters have to say.”
  • “It’s wrong to pass laws for political gain that take away the right to vote from millions of eligible citizens, including seniors and veterans.”
  • “As the world’s leading democracy, we can’t pass laws that block some eligible Americans from voting, or that deny them the opportunity to participate equally in our democracy.”
  • “Emphasize the need for flexibility in ID laws, and that ‘one size doesn’t fit all.’”

The reason I say each of these is hypocritical is because they pretend that there is no voter fraud. They pretend that everyone that votes is a citizen or even alive. We have yet to hear of one documented case of an actual citizen who was denied the right to vote, but we have already seen many cases of voter fraud.

Isn't it unfair to the citizens who are alive and legal to have their votes stolen or nullified by those who are not citizens or even by dead people? Yet they want to fight against people showing a simple ID. Their justification for being against ID is completely fallacious. You can't even get a library card without showing ID, and certainly you couldn't get into the Democratic convention without showing one. The party of inclusion most certainly wants to include those who have no right to vote in the hope that it will turn thing in their favor.

They state above that we are the worlds leading Democracy which again shows they don't even know what form of government we have. We are a republic... more specifically we are a democratic republic which is not at all the same thing as a democracy. Our founding fathers saw the dangers of a democracy and so they decided we wouldn't have one. It is communists and socialists, and progressives that like to declare a democracy.

I am not for having to "show our papers" when we are just out walking on the streets, but I do not have a problem with a person having to identify themselves as an American in order to vote. At one time we probably didn't need to worry very much about that issue and so laws were fairly lax, but we now have between 12 and 20 million illegal people in this country. That's a lot of votes and no I don't think our laws should be such that we are so afraid of taking away one person's vote for the sake of allowing millions of others to vote who shouldn't. This would clearly be worse for the system than not requiring some sort of proof of citizenship. Realistically a license doesn't even prove it, but it is still better than nothing.
