Teaching Treason!

There are so many things wrong about this story its frightening. A women at a school board meeting in Arizona had questions for the board about a book that is being used to teach children as early as 3rd grade. What was appalling wasn't even so much the use of all the profanity in the books, but all the talk of revolution against the government. The state constitution at the least declares that the schools can not teach stuff about bringing down the government and the like. From the reading the woman did it was clear it was a call to arms against the government. This is the first thing that is so very wrong about this, but everything that follows only increases the severity of what is going on.

When the woman began to read all the curse words contained in the book used to teach third graders one of the board members asked her to refrain because there might be young people present! But wait isn't this book designed to be read by third graders. So at this point the woman cowered and apologized for the use of the language instead of asking the board member to explain that if he thought it was wrong it would certainly mean that such a book should not be used in the class room. But it never went there. Many of the people in the audience immediately recognized the hypocrisy of the board member regarding this.

It is one thing to insist the book stop being used, but should the people using the book and those who designated the book be questioned and even asked to resign for the seditious ways? Why is this kind of treason or sedition being allowed to be taught? Why are the teachers not questioned as well as the administrators who decided this book should be used? Why is there no call for resignation? What about the constitution of the state forbidding sedition to be taught in the classroom?

All of these are obvious questions, yet you can be sure that about the only thing that will be addressed is the book itself. Getting rid of the book is certainly not going to get rid of the problem. If the teachers are intent on teaching this stuff then it is a sure thing they will just find another book to use that will teach the same thing. These same people will just keep trying the same thing over and over until they finally get this message to the young even as they have done with all their other socialist agendas.

Parents ought to be screaming about this yet the media doesn't report on it at all. But just let a student or teacher start some commencement with prayer and there are all kind of calls for suspensions and lawsuits and silencing the teacher or student and preventing the "forcing" of religion on other kids as though it might permanently damage them in some way.

What is the matter with our schools and our governments that this is going on. Worse still, what is the matter with the people of our nation that we continue to put up with all this stuff and let the courts silence the what is clearly the will of the majority?

A liberal democrat teacher of all people was one of the people to bring this to the attention of the public and now she is being attacked by her own people for standing up. The sad thing is that these ultra liberal attitudes are almost exclusively in the government, but these are the places that set policies. Because it is the government and because we view the government as being representative of the people we naturally assume that most people must feel the way they do and that we are in the majority. The fact that they so infect those certain groups makes anyone that is part of those groups but feels differently feel they are in the minority of all people but the truth is quite different and needs to be addressed. We need to confront those that are preaching sedition and treasonous things. We need to make it clear to them that those things are not ok. We need to get honorable judges in high places in the land.

The problem is that almost all of Washington is to one extent or another progressive and as such it is only a question of how liberal the judges they're going to choose are. They will choose liberal judges regardless it's just that the democrats will choose slightly less liberal judges. It is as though they have to try to sneak the conservative (reasonable) judges into their positions. Every time a conservative judge is suggested they are smeared, maligned and every manner of political maneuvering is used to make sure they don't get their position, but if an extremely liberal judge is put forward the conservatives say little or nothing about it and act as though they are just picking their battles. This is insane. They need to fight every battle. If you don't fight every battle in a war as though you want to win it then the few battles you actually fight, and the fewer still that you actually win eventually leave you surrounded and outnumbered.

It is time for parents and indeed all good and patriotic Americans wake up to the war being waged against our society by people determined to destroy it to the uttermost. We must fight these people in a way that shows them we mean to win and we're not going to be pushed around anymore. We're not going to allow them to set the agenda and determine the direction of our nation uncontested any longer. We're going to make them fight at every turn and not give one inch more of ground to these people. Where we do lose battles we will redouble our efforts in every other front line determined to win back territory. Rather than play defense when they attack we should be the first to attack.

Rather than wait and see what they are offering in books and just trying to reject those and pick from the best of the other bad choices we need to start picking books and writing books that put the American patriotic view back in our schools. We need to have books that tell us the wondrous tolerance of Christianity, which is certainly more tolerant than every other religion on planet earth today. We need to make them back off on their criticisms and attacks on Christianity.

It is time that we started having books in classrooms that trumpet the benefits of capitalism and free societies. We need to shout from the rooftops the advantages of our society over every other society in existence. There has never been another country like ours. From its start until now the United States has proven to be unique in all history.

There has never been another society like ours, either in wealth or freedom and we need to make that difference plain. We should not be cowed into silence anymore.

Let me also be clear that this does not mean that we should adopt their more violent and offensive tactics, but we should still face them down without fear. Propose our own values and start to implement them even as they have. We should meet them on the battlefield of ideas with clear and reasoned responses and force them to explain their reasoning instead of simply declaring their position as though it was already understood to be a superior position that we have no right to question.

We need to impress on all people the importance and possibility that they may lose their freedoms if they let us lose ours. This is done by making an effort to get our people into high positions in the educational position. This is how the socialists and communists have taken our education away from us and this is what they continue to do. It started with those that were only a little liberal and over time they kept progressing to more and more liberal people. They picked people who didn't mind staying mildly quiet about their liberal progressivism until they had already gotten into the positions of power. We need to do the same thing. Yes this may take time and it may be too late already but I believe it is still possible.

We need to remember that our position is the stronger position and that we are really the majority and as such we do not need to fear that they outnumber us, they DO NOT!

The subversion of everything we hold dear as a nation must be stopped. We need to prevent the socialists, communists and progressives from taking away everything that has meant anything to us all these years. They are busy rewriting our history. It has become so pervasive that many people no longer know what real history is and what was made up by the progressives. You need to go back to books that are more than 50 years old just to find any that have not been tainted by the leftist progressivism.

We must become agressive in our opposition and not allow our governmental officials to ignore our cries for justice and fairness. If we refuse to stand up for these things or if we cower we are bound to lose the most basic freedoms our founding fathers died to make sure we would get. This is a serious problem and we need to wake up and realize just how close to losing these things we actually are.
