Obama The Great Deflector

It would seem with Obama that everything comes down to deflection, distraction, misdirection, and obfuscation. No matter what the issue is he either doesn’t answer it at all, deflects by bring something else up and thus that becomes the topic of conversation or flat out refuses to even hear or acknowledge the issue.

Obama was called to court by Georgia, he refused to show up, was not held in contempt, and the judges then determined to simply drop  the whole case by the plaintiffs. What is wrong with this picture? What’s wrong with this is that congress and the president all now assume they are above the law.

The congress issues a subpoena for documents from Fast and Furious, they don’t get all the documents they request and again nothing happens. What does this say? That congress is impotent and irrelevant. Obama has told his administration to find ways to get done what he wants done without congress.

Sadly the congress has put itself in this position by creating all kinds of agencies that are allowed to create every manner of regulation (we used to call them laws, but of course only congress can do that) without needing congress to pass anything. Now that they realize their impotence do they do anything to stop it? Of course not!

Obama decides he doesn’t want to be cornered on the issue of the economy or gas prices, or housing, or jobs, or any of many other issues, and what he does is create controversy about a woman’s right to birth control and forcing the Catholic Church to provide it. This is nothing more than a distraction from the real issues, but sure enough the media like a raven with a shiny object latches right onto it and won’t let it go for weeks at a time. Almost every radio show becomes consumed with addressing the issues as though it were somehow relevant.

I’m sure the president is quite happy that Fox News is consumed almost 24/7 with reporting on the republican primaries. After all they have to make sure they get their guy Romney in place. He has been labeled the weak front runner, the presumed frontrunner, or just the front runner, in almost  every report no matter how weak the reasoning for that may be.

This is also a welcome distraction for Obama not having to answer any difficult questions. Of course Fox News does little to raise any of the serious issues or get any hard questions answered. All the administration needs to do is stonewall the congress and the media and they all back off, as much as to say, “well there’s nothing we can do about it.”

If the media isn’t directly helping Obama they are certainly not doing much to call him to account on any of the many issues that are so important at this time.

The media was once called the watchdog of government, then it was called the fourth branch of government, now it should be called the propaganda arm of the government. It certainly behaves that way. It is busy either running interference, spinning everything, simply not reporting something, or at least giving both sides as though they were both equally valid. They have certainly given  up any semblance of demanding information from the government and if they don’t get it reporting what they want to thus making the government look bad till the government or the administration gives them some real information.

They could have reported that the president refuses to give up his college information and his real birth certificate. They could have reported that Obama has yet to prove he is a natural born citizen and thus does not qualify for the presidency, but in all of this they have just gone along with him ridiculing any that call this into question; so much so that even judges are afraid to have anything to do with a case involving this most important issue.

The president has done many things which are clearly unconstitutional, but do the media report it as such? Does the media, start writing stories that they’re surprised congress has not been calling for his impeachment? No of course they don’t do any of these things. They are all willingly silent on this issue and the few WND and a few others willing to report on it are ostracized as not being real news reporters.

Sheriff Arpaio, after doing a real police investigation determines that Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery, and there is almost not a word spoken or broadcast about it. Forgery is a felony and at the very least Obama would be aware that what he was presenting was not his real birth certificate, this would make him an accomplice to a felony which is also a felony. By definition a felony is a high crime and thus an impeachable offense, but again not a word from the media, not even Fox news gave it the time of day.

Fox News Absent in Reporting

It is a little surprising that Fox News as well as the rest of the media has had very little to say about any of the goings on with Sheriff Arpaio. First he comes out with a 6 month investigation that finds that in all likelihood the Obama birth certificate is a fake. The media reports almost nothing on this. Of course they don’t want to investigate any of this seriously because if it turns out that he’s right it will only show how derelict they’ve been in their own due diligence and they certainly don’t want that to happen. I also think they can’t stand the idea that maybe it might cause a constitutional crisis.

Now we have a case where Sheriff Arpaio and his family have had their lives threatened by some liberal wacko Obama supporter and again the media has nothing to say about it. If this were any liberal being threatened this way there is little doubt that every liberal media outlet would be carrying the story as well as putting all the spin on it they could to make the conservatives look like a bunch of gun toting homicidal maniacs, and of course there would be Fox News reporting on it in their “balanced” way as always. They’d present both sides so there wouldn’t be much in the way of a defense against it, but now we have a liberal wacko threatening to kill a man and his whole family in the most gruesome ways imaginable and it doesn’t get any air play at all.

I suppose this is understandable because if any of the media actually carried the story they’d have to look into his motives. This is after all their favorite thing to do. They not always so interested about the actual events as the motivating factors. In this case for them to look at the reasons for these threats would mean they would have to cover the Arpaio investigation, something they’ve all been negligent about. Then everyone would be wondering why they didn’t cover that story so now they’ve locked themselves out from reporting about anything to do with Arpaio no matter what is involved.

There have been reports on WND as well about the Justices in Georgia refusing to hear anything regarding Obama’s eligibility to run. This is another story that is much bigger than just about Obama, his birth certificate and his eligibility. The really big story here and rightly covered by WND, is that the justices essentially refused to hear the case by waiting till the last minute to offer a verdict such that no appeal or follow-up could be made, essentially closing the door on it altogether. Those justices were right, it just went away as though it had never been as so many other similar issues regarding Obama’s eligibility for office have done.

Our media currently is completely broken. As WND points out the courts no longer exist to support the rights of the week or even the rights of the individual. They are activist in the sense that they only hear the cases they want to hear and by doing this can thwart justice without ever issuing a verdict on an issue. This has happened with the eligibility issue in Georgia, as well as all the rest of the suits brought against him for his eligibility. We don’t even know how many issues regarding the EPA, the IRS, and various other government agencies are concerned. The media doesn’t cover them because in many cases they just never happen and of course the media doesn’t cover that either.

The outrageous things being done by the government seem to become more and more severe and yet so much goes unreported as they report the same 5 or 10 stories hour after hour. They are so taken with the election at this point that they can hardly find time to report on anything else. They certainly have enough time for human interest stories, but as far as other things go they report them over and over in minute detail even when they have nothing more to add or at most one new piece of information to add to the mix.

Where is the pressure on our government both local and national to explain themselves? They certainly have more than enough they’ve been doing that needs explaining. Instead they are too busy reporting on how Romney is the presumed frontrunner even before the race has begun.

Obama can say the most outrageous things. In many cases what he says flies in the face of the facts but no one reports that fact, instead they argue his point. A good example of this is they way they have handled the gas crisis for years. Every time some pundit says that eeven if we started drilling right now we wouldn’t get any oil for 5 years, and no one says, so you’re suggesting because it will be 5 years off there’s no reason to ever start because it will always be 5 years away. Isn’t this a rather short sighted view? Equally no one says we’ve been saying this for 5 years and by now we’d be pulling oil out of the ground and we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

Health Insurance Insanity

Everyone talks about health insurance with the idea that it should cover anything to do with health. It should provide condoms, regular doctor visits, and anything else related to health. Does anyone ever think of this in terms of every other kind of insurance we buy?

Do we expect auto insurance to pay for tune ups, or oil changes or even our gas? After all these are all necessary to be able to drive a car? What about home owners insurance, does this cover buying new furniture or house cleaning costs, or the costs to redecorate, or lawn care, or energy, water, and garbage? Of course not! Yet when it comes to health care we seem to feel that insurance for that should cover anything no matter how remotely related to your health it is. Next thing you know they’ll be saying it should pay for health food, aspirins, water, or anything else that has to do with keeping you alive.

This was not the original intent of health insurance and it shouldn’t be the intent now either. We need to consider seriously what it is we expect from health insurance. It is certain this was not what the original people expected health insurance to cover but this is certainly Obama’s dream. To him it is much like the commerce clause in the constitution which now has to do with anything you buy or sell whether it is between the states or not and no matter how small or inconsequential it is.

Like everything regarding government once it starts it knows no end of what it should do. Consider for just a minute that already, before it has even gone into full effect they’re already saying Obama Care is going to cost more than twice as much as they originally estimated. This has happened with every government program. In most cases they end up costing as much as 20 times what they initially though, but they still plow ahead with them anyway assuming there is a never ending supply of money to pay for these things. To those in government this is just what they think. It does not occur to them that money cannot just be created out of thin air or it becomes worthless. This is the problem with a fiat currency. This is the problem we find ourselves in now and yet no one will back away from the health care bill passed by a rogue congress. Not only does the constitution no longer matter but neither does the cost of providing things “free” to the American people. What they invariably neglect to say is that nothing is free. Yet even the American people seem to have forgotten the only real money the government has is what it takes from the people and there is only so much money that the people have to give.

It has been said that socialism fails when they run out of your money to spend. This is the place they’re coming to.

In an entitlement society it becomes only natural that you don’t really care who pays for you to have a free ride as long as you have a free ride. After all, the world owes you a free ride. No one can tell you why, but they sure that it’s the case. This is the real problem common sense and normal reason have gone completely out the door and all people know is what they want. Of course if your wants infringe on me and make demands of me, though I may admit to the reasonableness of it based on my give me philosophy I will certainly find any way possible not to have to do my fair share because that does away with my free ride.

It is for this reason that communism has such a problem. Communism completely ignores human nature and only holds to some altruistic belief system with no foundation for why it should be so. It might be said that early Christians probably came the closest of any organized group of people to true communism, but this was because they saw God as their provider and had a a genuine sense of their responsibility to him and to all men based on all men being made in the image of God. Though there was far more to it than this in brief this was the reason that they held all things in common and every one gave to what needs there were. For men to believe that government can provide out of its bounty is to ignore that the only bounty of the government is the bounty of the people.

Racism, The Only Defense of Obama

Obama can't run on his record. he can't bring reason to the table as to how higher taxes and the out of control spending are or will help the nations joblessness, so the only thing left to him and those who adore him is the charge of racism. Is it any wonder then that the newest candidate and arguably the most likely to win again him is already having charges of racism leveled against him.
As is usual there doesn't really need to be any evidence, the charge is enough. It is naturally assumed that anyone from the south must have at least some racism. It is od how these people can't see that such a thing is bigotry. And of course if you don't like a person who happens to be black it can't be because you simply don't like them, don't care for their views, and don’t care for their actions or anything else. Not like a person who is black can only be because you are a racist.

If this line of reasoning is to be considered valid then it is clear those leveling the charge must be racist and hate white people. By leveling the charge they are already declaring their love of black people and therefore anything they say about white people can only be because of racism. It is odd who we can see the absurdity of such a thing and even they will declare such a thing absurd, but when you turn it around it is perfectly reasonable to these people.

I keep hoping for some voice of sanity from the left, but it seems inspite of how Alan Combs uses sarcasm about it, that someone will stop walking lockstep and just defending the democrats no matter what they do and no matter how absurd the defence.

Are there no people among the democrats that will condemn these charges of racism? It does seem awfully early in the race to already be playing the race card. Usually they save the name calling only as a last ditch effort. Maybe they're doing this because they realize they are already out of explanation and excuses for what Obama has done and is still trying to do. Maybe they have already recognized they are defending the indefensible. So far I have heard no reasoned approach to how taxing the rich or any other class of people will produce jobs. I have heard no sound reasoning of how borrowing more money will produce jobs. I have heard no sound reasoning on how forcing everyone to pay more in taxes whether they use health care or not is going to either help being the price of health care donw or save us any money.

Since the left seems to have no reasoned defense for most of what they're doing and don't want to expose their Marxist/communist ideology the only thing left to them is to start wielding the charge of racism.

Sometimes I almost wonder if Obama doesn't revel in being black because he considers that a defense against every charge and he uses it that way.

It is interesting how the media has purposely left out a word when reporting what Perry said about the Federal Reserve. He did not say it would be considered treasonous. He said it could ALMOST be considered treasonous. These two things are not the same, but then the media isn't known for getting it right even 10% of the time when they have a horse in the race.

It is clear the media gets it wrong more often than they get it right and for this reason alone we need to start finding more reliable sources of news. Instead of listening to all their inflammatory rhetoric regarding racism, misquotes, and polls that have questions set up in such a way to get the result they want, we need to start paying attention to what we know is true.

Even as our nation is falling apart financially we seem to have a president to who determined to tear it further apart and devide people against each other in every way he can. He is happy to use race, money, party, sex, and the list goes on. To our current president it seems nothing is more important than dividing the American people against each other and thus weakening us even more.

If our nation is to have any hope of surviving we must begin to turn around this trend as quickly as we can and begin to recognize anew that we are all Americans and to see that is what binds us together. If they cannot overcome our unity we may yet prevail. If they manage to divide us sufficiently it will take very little to break our nation apart and separate us from that which has made us great for so long.

It is clear that both racism and in many cases reverse racism are rampant in the White House, the administration and among our representatives. Such people as Maxine Waters revel in the racism they help create. It is part of the way they control those blacks they have become the plantation overseers of. When I first heard this kind of talk I thought it was absurd till I started to consider how the black people in our nation are being constantly taught by their representatives to settle for far less and then to hate the slave owners. The reality is that people like Maxine Waters, are incompetent and in many cases totally unfit for their position, but they have been picked for those positions to keep their constituents in line, but constantly talking against the "slave owners" which is everyone that is white, no matter what their position. At the same time they promise their mostly black and Latino constituents that they will fight for their rights and that they will do something about it, but all they do is promise to get them more welfare and even to help them get on welfare. Now let me ask, "No matter how good welfare is, is it really such a wonderful lifestyle that people want to life like that for the rest of their lives?"

This is the reverse racism to which I refer. This is black people helping to keep other black people down. All they do is feed them hate and dependence on them as the only people that can help. They teach dependence and unfortunately their constituents buy it.

Their constituents are clearly no better off now than they were 10 years ago, but still the people continue to vote in these people who do nothing for them but make hollow promises. I wonder how long they would put up with the same non-performance from white people.

Now we have the black caucus saying that if the president was not black the blacks would be marching on Washington, but it is more important to them to support him no matter what job he does just because he's a brother. This shows the completely ignorance and hypocrisy they walk in. If you try to point it out they simply either refuse to answer or certainly have no reasonable answer except something that amounts to, "The white man has kept us down for long enough and now THEY"RE tryin to ruin a brother." It is as though it never occurs to them that maybe it isn't the "white man's" fault. They never consider that maybe Obama really is doing a really crappy job. don't they understand that in the long run what this means is that for decades everyone will talk about what happened when the first black man got in office and what they say won't be good.

Obama is back at playing the race card again. I suppose it's the only thing he knows to do when he's attacked. He certainly can't defend himself on his record. Oh he makes up a record out of thin air which never holds up to the facts and because of this his last and only defense is racism. In his view any attack against any black man can never be based on his merits or lack there off, it must be on the basis of race; that is unless it is one black man making the criticism of another black man, but even then only liberals can report it.

The  racism of Obama and his followers is so convoluted it's horrifying, but expect a lot more of it. It only goes to show just how ignorant, hypocritical, false these stands are. All liberals seem to feel if you criticize the president it must be because he's black even though his color is never mentioned except by those making the charge of racism.

This really ought to make you wonder how are the real people who see everything through the lense of color. Who are the real ones that are incapable of looking at the content of a man's character? At the point the ones making all the charges of racism are the ones who seem unable to discuss a man based on his character. If he is white he must be a racist. If he is black anything said against him must be racism. Is this really the way things work? This is by far a more bigoted attitude than any exhibited by those who oppose Obama.

The ones that are really racist are the ones who see racism where not even the slightest mention of color or race is concerned and these people should be more readily accused of racism than anyone. Those being accused by them should stop defending themselves and go on the attack. Clearly these men and women are the ones exhibting racism by seeing it everywhere they turn.

They all know what their narrative is already and aren't really interested in finding out the truth. Much like the case of Sheriff Arpaio running a legitimate investigation into the Obama birth certificate being ignored. They could care less about things that really matter, instead they would rather give us minute by minute blows about the republican primaries. Come on there's only so much to report. It would seem they can't be bothered with what's really going on in the elections, only the results. How those results were obtained is not really their concern.

Where does almost all the REAL INVESTIGATIVE reporting come from? It comes from a couple O'Keefe and  his coworker. They go in do under cover videos and are capturing stuff that should have been found out a long time ago, if the media were doing its job.

Instead we have to put up with the ongoing drivel of how Romney is the front runner no matter what happens. He's the only one that can beat Obama. They keep trying to shape and reshape his image hoping that will help.

It is long past the time when the media ought to be doing its job and reporting the things that really matter, but instead they are doing almost nothing.They report rumor and innuendo because that's what sells. They report such things as Obama's statements about being "generally proud" of the military, which in context was an understandable thing to say.

It seems every time we turn around there is something new about voter fraud and almost no reproting by Fox News or any of the other media. Isn't this one of the foundations of our nation. That we elect the people we want to be our representatives, but when we have so much fraud in the process that it's easy to find it indicates that the ones who are actually getting into office may not be the ones we've voted for at all.

Does this mean that our system has been so compromised that something as important as this is going to get minimal new play and be ignored as much as possible? Sadly it seems to point in this direction. The government is out of control and the media that is supposed to be a government watchdog of types is asleep at the wheel. When the media begins to only do the job that they feel shows the most sensational things for the sake of the buck and is afraid to buck the system to let the American people know what is going on then the nation is indeed in trouble. Though Fox News is perhaps better than the others at even handed reporting they can in some ways be more insidious than the others. You come to think that they are reporting the truth and that they are reporting everything, but you only need to look at them for the last 2 months and almost all you see is reporting on ONE thing, the Primaries, you will also notice that even when they reporting that someone else now has the lead there is always somewhere in the story something about Romney and his frontrunner status or at least his presumed front runner status. They could care less that his wins may have been by fraudulent voting. They have picked their man apparently though they hide it better than most. The problem is they mention Romney in almost every story one way or another. It is a far more refined form of propaganda than what the other stations are giving us and for this it is far more dangerous.

There is little doubt that much of what you hear and see on websites is fabricated, but with the “reliable” new media we have now you can’t trust them either.

Any story about voter fraud ought to be looked into in the most serious way and they ought to be trying to get to who’s behind it. They are too busy sifting through their various feeds on the 200 plus monitors to be out doing their own investigations and reporting. They just grab whatever is the top story besides the primary and then find two opposing sides to discuss it. They don’t go into depth or present any of their own facts, just let us listen to both sides opinions. Though this may be reporting of a sort it is nothing like what led to Watergate or any of the other great stories in reporting.

If they will not report on the voter fraud and won’t find out who’s doing it, then it is certain to continue and we are certain to see people representing us that we really didn’t vote for.

Fox News is as deaf to the concerns of real Americans as are the liberal media. They have a view to put forward and though I listen to them more than others I’m finding they also have a single track mind in their agendas when it comes to reporting. They certainly have their favorites. I could have told you from the start, when the race first started, literally on day one they were already saying Romney was the presumptive front runner, even though not one thing has yet occurred that could have possibly indicated that. From that point forward I could have told you the spin would always be in his direction with as little negative reporting as possible about him. This has proven to be the case.

DOJ Not Doing Their Jobs

It is quite apparent that the DOJ is not doing their job. the situations they chooose to look at and the situations they choose to ignore are completely mystifying to the common man.

They not only ignored the case of the New Black Panther intimidation at the polling places, but they told the prosecutors to set it aside and not prosecute even though there was abundant evidence and sure conviction. Yet the DOJ chooses to insert itself into the case of the Muslim teacher who wanted to do her Mecca journey even though this is clearly not something of national importance.

Now we have a situation of a clear threat to the economy by people who have clearly articulated their intent to destroy the economy of the United States and they have a plan in place to do it, yet the DOJ and Holder in specific can't be bothered to look into it. This is clearly far more important than the case of the Muslim teacher but even with pressure from congressmen Holder and the DOJ are trying to sidestep the issue and not pursue it in any way at all. They behave as though it were nothing more than a conspiracy theory even though it is clearly documented on film that this is their intent. The amounts to treason, or insurrection at the very least and quite possibly conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States.

So what is their justification for ignoring this very important issue? Apparently they do not even feel they need a justification. All they need to do is say that they are not going to pursue it and the issue is closed. The congressmen write their letters wanting information and then act as though they've done all they can and let the subject drop.

One can only wonder if our representatives are not going along with this as well. Certainly if they were taking it seriously they would do whatever it took to get an answer from Obama and the DOJ as to why nothing is being done to stop this.

The country as probably never been in greater danger of collapse than it is right now and yet our representatives can't be bothered to follow up or take any serious action to stop it. Our leaders were so panicked about the economy 2 years ago that they dumped 1.5 trillion dollars of our money into the economy yet now they can't even be bothered to do an investigation? None of this makes any sense unless their goal is the ultimate demise of the nation.

Obama won't issue any permits to the United States to drill in the Gulf of Mexico, but he will issue them to Brazil! Does this make any sense? It does it you are looking to cripple or destroy the United States.

Obama can't get his budget with vastly more spending through which would be the nail in the coffin so instead he singlehandedly gets us involved in another war with the same kind of huge spending involved without so much as a word to or from congress?! Yet another way to bypass congress on spending. Obama really doesn't care what the spending is on so long as it makes America go broke and through that bring the United States down.

Am I the only one concerned with this? There is little or no question that Stephen Learner's statements and even associations should be investigated. Everything I've heard from the recordings of his meeting seems to indicate he should be investigated. Just the fact that he didn't want to say everything at the meeting for fear there might be police there indicates that he was concerned what he was saying would be considered illegal.

For a man to be making such bold statements about how to bring the Nation down and for no one to even investigate it is very concerning. This sort of thing cannot continue. It sure seems that at the least he should be seriously investigated and it is beginning to appear that so should holder for his unwillingness to do his job.

How is it that we have people who swore to uphold the constitution and the laws of the land and then flaunt them and nothing even happens and hardly anything is even said about it? These men should be impeached or thrown out of office or fired at the very least yet still nothing happens.

The fact that such tapes as those that contain Stephen Learner's plans to topple the government in his own words can be delivered to the DOJ and no action or even seeming concern is expressed should cause us at least as much concern as the threats of Learner.

The lack of conern or even interest should be a strong indicator to us that Attorney General Holder and his minion are at the very least not opposed to the goals or methods of Stephen Learner and his ilk.

People are calling this economic-terrorism, but in my opinion it goes far deeper than that. As serious as econmic terrorism is, it is more of an invented term and makes it sound likes it's more about scaring people than actually doing something real. What Learner is talking about is sedition, and conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States. The banks are merely the means. From all the discussion you would think the banks were the ends. You would think the goal was a depression. This goes far beyond economics where his goals are concerned and it minimizes the danger to make it all about economics. It is about toppling our entire government and replacing it with something socialist or communist.

I find it amazing how many times Holder seems to think that a news report is enough to start a major investigation, at least when it suits is power hungry needs. He had the DOJ start an investigation on the NYPD based off of nothing more than some new articles. We have others in congress that insist that investigation must take place because how else will they prove these people are guilty. It is clear that those in congress no longer believe in the consitutional idea of innocent till proven guilty, nor does the DOJ or Holder who runs it, or most of the other progressive/communist/socialists we now have in the administration. They believe in the communist way of doing things. Protect your friends and don't allow any investigation on them even from others, and go after your enemies no matter how little evidence there may be that they've done anything wrong.

The EPA and various other agencies are being used in the same way. We have judges that seem to feel they need to all right in line with this as well and as a result much of our equal justice has been changed into social justice.

Didn't Holder see the news reports about Fast and Furious, yet what investigation did he have on that. True to from not only did he start no investigation, but he's also done everything he can to stonewall the investigation trying to be done by some in Congress. Of course our Congress is so spineless that they just throw up their hands and declare, "what can we do, they're stonewalling us." These are men who are, or at least were among the most powerful men in the world and they act like sheep and cowards.

I wonder if we will ever see true justice come back to the United States. Our judges can no longer be trusted and they are immune to prosecurtion. Our representatives can no longer be trusted and for the most part they are immune from prosecution. The president loathes the constitution and wants to see it done away with and the congress will not challenge him on a single thing because they are afraid of being called names in the news.

I wonder what hope there is for this nation with all ourl eaders abdicating power to the president and unelected Agencies, and now the president and his administration abdicating power to the U.N. and the "International Community".

Spending OUR Money

Our leaders are way too confident and frivolous spending our money. Maybe they think there's no end to it. Maybe they think it's just numbers in a computer. Maybe they just really don't care and are really trying to destroy the United States economically.

No one wants to consider the third option, but what can you say to such a thing. It is either this or these people are just plain stupid and don't understand that when you spend money you don't have, that sooner or later you have to pay it back or declare bankruptcy which will ruin your credit. If our credit is ruined then they have destroyed our economy.

Certainly they must know that they are borrowing and spending money at a much faster rate than we can ever pay back, so the only other conclusion you can draw is that they are doing it on purpose. If this is the case then it means that we have people in congress who are actively working against the United States. This is something that is called sedition.

If we dont' get rid of these people or somehow get them to turn around we will shortly find ourselves bankrupt as a nation and our money will be worthless on the world market. We will cease to be a world power if that happens and may well find that we become little more than a third world nation.

Are we the people of the United States of America really going to let that happen. We must do something soon if we are to turn things around.

There are so few people in congress or as leaders that we can trust.

Something every American should consider when looking for who they will vote for as the next president is: Has the person done what they said they would do? Do they have a genuine concern for our economy as exhibited by their voting and actions. Do they display contempt for our nation or honor and patriotism? Does the leader surround himself with Marxists, communists, and socialists. Has the leader been actively working to destroy the oil industry on which we depend? Are they against other forms of power such as coal? Have they talked about taking action that would cause fuel to "necessarily skyrocket"?

Does the person lead both by word and by example? Or do they lead from behind? Is the person the sort of person who votes present? Or do they vote for those things that are for the good of the nation? Is the person a real worker? Do they spend every weekend and every other opportunity playing golf, basketball, going to africa on safari, and taking trips all over the world seeming with no purpose? Does the person ignore the plight of Americans hit by disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and fires?

Does the person refuse to answer to congress? Does the person do anything substantial to defend our borders and support those who are trying to do the same? Does the person actively fight against states that don't support his agenda on such things as illegal immigration?

Does the person seek constantly to divide the American people, with such things as black against whites, hispanics against whites, illegals against citizens, rich against poor, etc.?

Does the person stonewall every attempt for real information, all the whilte declaring how they are the most open and transparent administration we have seen? Is the person continually evasive? Does the person call for cooperation and immediately follow it up by criticizing the side he wants cooperation from?

Is this really the kind of leader we want? Do we want a leader who has already doubled our national debt in just 2 years and promise more of the same if re-elected? Do we want a leader who is willing to be on both sides of the fence?

Do we want a leader who views himself as a ruler more than a leader. A leader uses the executive orders to put through all kinds of things the legislature would never approve?

Do we want a leader who feels it is fine for the government to take over a private business? Do we want a leader who thinks that eminent domain trumps every case of private property?

Do we want leaders who feel the government just doesn't regulate enough and busy themselves writing hundreds of thousands of pages of legislation telling you what you can eat, what you can smoke, what you can do with your own property, where a business can move, what state a business must do business in or that gives non-citizens more rights then actual citizens?

Does this sound like the kind of leaders we have now? If it does and these are really the kinds of leaders that you want then keep voting them in. If this is not what you as an American want; if this is not what you think was meant to be by our founding fathers then you better get busy getting these people out of office.

In california you can't even chose what kind of tree you want to plan in your own yard without consulting some goernment beauricrat first. I suppose this is really a matter of self importance and trying to prove that we need someone to tell us the best thing that we need to do. At its core it is an attitude that we are too stupid to know what is best for us. Every American ought to be insulted and outrage by this elitest attitude. No American is better than another and though we have put these people up on pedestals we should not. Even though they would have us believe they are the cream of the crop the reality is that in many cases they would never have made it inn any other area of society. It is not that they are uniquely suited for politics or running a nation or a state. It is really that they can't do anything else and would die poor if not for all the perks they can give themselves as our representatives.

We have every right to expect these people we vote into office to be responsible with the money they take from us. If they will not be responsible we also have ever right to see them removed from office. These people do not have a right to their office. They do not have a right to be re-elected. They behave as though they have a right to do that, but the reality is they do not have a right to be there. In many cases they should be removed simply because they refuse to answer the questions that are put to them by the media and because they have clearly lied to the American people over and over. Would we take this from the executive of any large company? If they lied to their investors, were caught in unethical positions, were not handling the money of the company as they were supposed to and as a result were bringing that company to financial ruin we would demand their resignation immediately not at the end of some imagined term simply because we said we were going to hire them for 2 years to turn the company around.

This illustration is probably the most apt of any we could use, but for some reason we think different rules apply to those in goverment. This should not be. We should get the people who are not answerin to the investors (taxpayers) of nation adequately and who are doing great damage to the economy and financial health of our nation.

What has happened to tax payers rights? What has happened to equal protection under the law. Why is it that the laws that congress passes don't apply to them? The rest of us have to have a health care plan that they've exempted themselves from. If that plan is so good then why are they not required to have the same one we're required to have. What is the difference between this and an aristocracy? One set of rules for them and another set of rules for the rest of us? Am I the only one that can see that this is not equal  protection under the law?

Obama the Epitomy of Narcissism

Obama's self esteem knows no bounds. He seems to think that he is the only one that can do anything about the problems our nation is experiencing. He refuses to take any responsibility for where the nation is at and only seeks to place blame.

Obama was asked in an interview recently if he made any mistakes. He said in a general way that of course he had, that he makes them all that time. He also said that he makes them every day. I was a little surprised that the interviewer didn't ask him what mistakes he had made and what he could have done differently. Of course even if they had asked him that his answer would undoubtedly been the type of answer you give when you are interviewing for a job and they ask you about your short comings and you say something about how you care too much about people, or that you feel a deep responsibility to make sure the job is always done right or some such dribble as a weakness.

It is nothing but false humility. Obama has not owned any responsibility for anything that has happened in this country. He's more than happy to take the credit where he can, but then if you listen to him he never really does take credit, he only places blame and pushes the responsibility off on other people. The reason he doesn't take credit is that he hasn't really done anything.

This is the same thing that happened during his last campaign. He never said a thing about anything he had done because he really didn't have any accomplishments. Instead what he did was make constant promises and campaign slogans about what he was going to do if he was elected, but even in these things he really didn't make any specific remarks, but then politicians never do.

Among his major accomplishments per his campaign promises is that the cost of gas, coal and other fuel has "necessarily skyrocketed" to more than twice what it was when he took office. he is delivering as much redistribution of wealth as he can through taxes and Obamacare, and he has killed OBL. Beyond this the nation is in worse shape than it has been since WWII.

It is amazing that Obama can say he's done stuff when he's done exactly the opposite or that he can claim that great things have happened under his administration when exactly the opposite is true.

He says he's going to make us energy independent but has done everything he can to stifle coal, natural gas, and crude. With Obama you have to read between the lines. I'm sure in his mind he's telling the truth because what he means is that he's determined we won't need any of those things because we'll be such a green society. He ignores where electricity comes from, he ignores the problem of battery disposal, he ignores the fact that environmentalists have been against every green initiative as much as they have against gas, usually because it means building on some land that belongs to a snail, or a big of some kind.

Obama would have us believe he is the only one that can save us from ruin, but what I can't help is who has been heading us down the road to ruin? Is he going to save us from himself? This is of course and absurd question. All Obama can do is be Obama, Obama the activist, Obama the socialist, Obama the one that believes in redistribution of wealth our of his own mouth, and it is for this reason that we ought to expect nothing less than the same thing we've had for the last 3+ years. So really what you have to ask yourself is, if you are happy with what Obama has done for the last 3 year then you will probably have no problem with keeping him as president, but if you feel the country as been going in a negative direction then you will likely want to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Any man that is so full of himself that he doesn't see or at least won't admit that he's done anything wrong and that feels he is the only person who can fix the problems he's caused is a man that we should strenuously avoid putting back in office. This same thing is true of every other representative that we have in office, senators, representatives, governors, etc. These people seem to feel it is there job in life to run our lives and manage us! This is not their job. Do they really represent our desires, or do they simply love managing the "little people"? I contend it is the latter.

Obama learned early in his community organzing days how easy it is to generate and manipulate a mob and that's all he's been doing the entire time he's been in office. He is great at turning people against each other. He excels and causing strife and setting people at odds with each other, but he knows nothing of actually working with others. We must always remember that whenever Obama talks of compromise or working with the other side he is only addressing the opposition. He is never addressing his own people. He revels in strife!

This is not what our nation needs, now or ever. We need to get this man out of office as quickly as we can, and till we do we can only expect to see more strife and more decline. Obama is looking to create a managed decline of the United States, both in power and in economics. I do not believe this is anything any of us want.

The only way we have to get rid of these people is to exercise our right to vote and to exercise it responsibly. We need to stop votin blindly for our representatives and most especially stop voting for any president based on their promises. We have need to vote on their records because this is what shows us what they really believe. If they tell you they've changed that is no reason to vote for them. They may be telling you the truth, but it would still be better to vote for a man that has been consistent all along. We do not want men in charge who change with the wind.

Progressivism, the New Socialism and Communism

I can’t help but wonder what is going on with our nation? I really don’t get what is happening or why we continue to let it happen. Our president seems to feel he has the right to dictate what groups do or don’t need to obey the law. There is no challenge from the congress or the judicial branch on either of these issues. I keep wondering how this can be? How is it that our president feels he can specify who must follow one law or another or what laws he will enforce and which ones he won’t. He is current doing this regarding forcing Catholics to pay for birth control, something they are adamantly opposed to. How can he decide what companies need to pay for the Obama healthcare plan and which ones get waivers?

Equally as bad as all this is that we have a man running for president who feels he has the same power. Romney is promising to give waivers to all 50 states, as though this will nullify Obama care, but all it does is puts it off till it is fully in place. This is a law that needs to be repealed not waived or supported at the whim of a president. Neither Romney, nor Obama, or any other president for that matter has this power under the constitution or they make the constitution and the rule of law of no affect. This is not equal justice, this is justice by whim.

Everyone keeps talking about social justice, but we are not a nation founded on social justice, we are a nation founded on equal justice. This means that no one is above the law, not the president and not the congress. Obama is rapidly turning this into a banana republic and we hear no outcry from our representatives or from the people. The progressives, socialists, and communists have done an amazing job of not teaching or incorrectly teaching our founding principles. Almost everything about the founding of our nation has become a point of ridicule for the progressives.

Our congress is busy passing hundreds of thousands of pages of laws every year! They seek to regulate every area of our life and people are pressured to see that it is for our good. We are constantly told that we need the government to protect us from the bad decisions of our neighbors. No smoking, restricting salt intake and use in preparation of food, cutting back on sugar, etc. All of this flows from very convoluted reasoning. The reason we accept it is because we don’t know to reject the premise.

The premise is twofold. First that we should never be offended or put at any risk of health or accident by any individual or company, and the second is that only through regulation can this be prevented. To the first I will only say this is an absurd world view. No amount of regulation or care can protect you from every possible danger in life. On top of that it is this zero tolerance mentality and the idea that you are too stupid or unconcerned to do these things yourself. Companies are now required to put notices on anything that uses electricity, that you shouldn’t put them in water, and that they can cause shock, etc. Anyone that is too stupid to know this already has either not had a childhood or has no common sense, in which case the warnings won’t matter anyway. The problem with all of this is that they are now the big brothers who have decided it is their duty to protect us from ourselves, both as individuals and as a society. I reject both of these notions.

Many will point to the environment and tell us that businesses will not do things that are environmentally sound if they are not forced too. This may or may not be true. There may be a certain amount of regulation needed, but the place where we get deceived on this issue is that it should fall to the states to regulate that stuff, not the federal government. We have lost sight of the fact that the federal government and the state government are not the same. It is not true that government is government, at least not in the United States. On a state level it is easier to get control of issues and if you don’t like what your state is doing you can always leave which will eventually put pressure on the state government to change or they will lose their tax base. It is nearly impossible to pressure Washington to do anything because they are often so far removed from the people that they simply don’t care. It was for this reason that the federal government was to be so restricted by the constitution as to have very few and limited powers. That situation has now changed and we find that the federal government trumps in almost every area, and tramples on the powers of the state.

We forget that just because the federal government doesn’t pass a law that applies to all of the states doesn’t mean that people will simply do whatever they want and damage the nation in every way imaginable. This is what our federal government would have us believe. They believe people are looking to destroy the environment, destroy the economy, destroy, every manner common sense living if they don’t step in and regulate those areas of our lives. They also choose to interpret for us that only the federal government can do anything about this and if the federal government doesn’t do something then no one will, this also is not true. The states are the ones that are supposed to have most of the power, but again power is being centralized in Washington and we are being led to believe only those in Washington can do anything about it.

If we don’t do something soon enough power will be accumulated in Washington that we may not be able to do anything about it. I contend that as a nation we have forgotten most of our constitution. We have allowed our teachers (who are almost treated as high priests and priestesses) to neglect and corrupt one of the things that is most valuable about our nation, our constitution. This corruption of our constitution has not been by accident or unintentional. Many were completely unaware of what our teachers were teaching in the schools. The media doesn’t report because they uphold the same progressive, communist, socialist and Marxist principles that it seems our representatives have embraced.

We need to take seriously the fact that our government is being progressively run by those who hold to progressive, socialist and communist points of view. They don’t want to admit this overtly, but it is certain the way they’re governing shows that they think government should do everything for us as well as put as many restrictions on us as possible. Of course all of this is in the name of doing it for our good or for the good of the whole. The truth is they are doing because it gives them more power, because they believe only the government is capable of making people succeed, and because they have an ideology that believes in the socialist/communist model.

Obama readily admitted that he made it a point to seek out communists and Marxists when he was in college, but for some reason the media ignored this fact or when it was brought up chose to down play it as much as possible. Where there ought to have been outrage about this there was none. The media continually told us this didn’t matter it was in his past, it was in his youth, or that certainly no one running for president would do this. When asked directly about this he never actually denied it, rather he answered the question with another question. He would ask back if they really believed he was a communist. For some reason rather than answer this truthfully they felt too embarrassed to say they did believe both his words and his actions in congress showed that he at least had leanings this way and that it caused them a great deal of concern.

This is one of the reasons I’ve have taken to calling the masses in this country “sheeple” Everyone is afraid to say anything against the politically correct crowd. They are afraid of looking or sounding silly. They are afraid of being called racists, probably because the charge is assumed be true till you can prove it is not, which of course you can never prove a negative, but you sure spend a lot of time trying and this of course is just what the progressives want. This also helps intimidate others from speaking up.

The truly absurd thing is that the Democrats constantly behave in the most hypocritical ways. They accuse the right of misogyny, but they are the ones doing it constantly yet they get a pass. The fault is most certainly not all the media’s. Yes the media should report it and contrast it, but what really ought to bother us is that our representatives feel free to call women every manner vile name, yet they set themselves up as the protectors of women. They feel more than free to call black people (if they are conservative) every name under the sun. They call them “Uncle Toms”, etc. which of course has racist overtones but no one feels this is bad enough to either report or to demand their resignation.

What really makes this odd is that for some odd reason, women believe they are actually there to protect them and protect their rights, black people believe them and give them their votes, Hispanics believe them and give them their votes, yet throughout all of this they are by far the more misogynist, racist and haters. When they say they are inclusive and tolerant they only mean as long as those people go along with what they want to do and believe. Just let a black man stand up for conservative principles and you will hear the most vile attacks against him. They do not celebrate that he is getting ahead or that he has or should attain some high position. To the Democrats minorities and women are nothing more than what Marx called useful idiots. They must laugh behind closed doors at just how stupid people are that they’re willing to give up their freedoms for the sake of a free ride. They’re willing to give up their freedom for a little fake recognition.

Women clearly have not looked at the history of Planned Parenthood. They have no idea that the founder of Planned Parenthood viewed abortion not as a reproductive right, but rather they viewed it as a method of euthanizing black people in the womb as well as any other undesirables. Of course who determines who is undesirable? These people clearly have very elitist attitudes thinking they are the only ones capable of engineering a good society.

The really problem with the communist view is that in practice it always comes down to everyone being equally poor except the elites, and all the time the elites who really do have both the money and the real power are constantly demonizing the rich and powerful. Oddly this foolishness also seems to work on the people. Every time one of our representatives starts spouting the class warfare model there should be a great outcry that they need to give up everything they have to the government except what the average middle class American has. Why do we put up with this?!

This is not about fairness or equality it is about power and money for the elite. The whole point of our government was not that our representatives should impose upon us their will, it was that the people impose upon the government our will.

We have moved so far down the progressive road at this point that it will take radical political surgery for us to recover from it in time to save our republic. Obama almost single-handedly has moved our nation so far down the road toward destruction with the help of Pelosi and Reid that nothing short of replacing most of the people in congress with people who know and truly believe in the constitution will help bring our nation back from the brink of destruction. If there are enough of the old guard, including progressive Republicans, to stand in the way of the fixes needed I fear that we will most likely find our nation doomed to economic destruction the likes of which we may never recover from.

It is easy to think only Democrats can be progressives or support socialist/communist things, but there are more than enough in the Republican Party as well and they also help most the progressive cause along. There are far too many people in congress right now that think the constitution is outdated and should either be done away with altogether and completely rewritten, or at least ignored because it is archaic. In many cases they are not even afraid to voice this opinion. They state these things openly with the confidence that almost anyone born at least in the last 30 years has been educated from elementary school to believe the same thing. They know they won’t get much in the way of negative feedback for saying these things.

The U.S. Government A Monopoly of the Worst Kind

Our leaders show contempt for the law and the constitution by their actions. In Obama’s case he has even said that he thinks it needs to be replaced with a new bill of rights. He shows contempt for it at every time. He talks about social justice but clearly does not believe in equal justice. None of our leaders believe in equal justice. They do not believe the laws should apply to them and worse they feel that they can determine if a law applies to one individual or another or even one group or another. They constantly exercise favoritism. They are a monopoly in the worst sense of the word. They get to decide who succeeds and who does not; who will get money and who will not, and you don’t even have a choice about buying their product.

You do not even have a right to know what products they’re proposing and you certainly don’t have the right to not buy it. Everyone is expected to pay for any product the government proposes and if you don’t you’ll be thrown in jail. At least with capitalist monopolies the worst that will happen is that you’ll go without.

The one power we do have is to get rid of the executives. Unfortunately the American people have for the most part abdicated this right. They blindly continue to vote the same representatives in over and over. The funny thing is that they do this because they think these people are being money into their district and so doing something for them. What they keep forgetting is where that money came from. It comes from us! Now some people may be more than happy to take money from another state and get to use it in their state, but this again only shows our moral and ethical bankruptcy.

These people are doing nothing but taking our money from us and then giving some of it back to us in the form they think is best. What people forget to ask themselves is what they would do with that money if they were simply allowed to keep it in the first place? Why filter that money through the middle man of the government and lie to ourselves, or be lied to by our representatives that they are giving us something.

Again consider the case of a monopoly. The business forces you give them money and then tells you they’re going to give you a toilet, and you like an idiot behave as though they GAVE you something because they force you to pay them money every week whether you are personally benefiting from that money you’ve been forced to give them. If you do decide to get that money back you can only get the product they provide. Wouldn’t you do better off if you didn’t need to pay them at all and then could actually buy the product and quality you needed?

It is not even like the government actually produces anything. All they do is take and redistribute and maybe this is the reason that Obama says he is for redistribution of wealth. He at least understands that this is all that government does and he believes this was the sole reason we have government. Further he views this as the great good of the government because in his mind everyone should have the same amount, except of course for him. If he really believed it was right to take from the rich and that it was indeed their obligation to give all the extra they had to those who didn’t have as much, then why would he wait till it is forced on him. I say let him lead by example but that is not about to happen.

It is amazing to me how many people are more than willing to vote themselves more goodies from the government but they never seem to get that all that means is that they're asking the government to take more money out of their pockets to do it and thereby they don't have as much to spend on things for themselves.

I for one do not want to be dependent on the government for anything they have to offer. They have proven over and over that they are very good at wasting money, but then what do they care, it's not their money. In many cases our representatives either don't pay taxes or are way behind on them, and again we see that though that works for them it would neever work for the rest of us. Yet another example of one set of laws for one group of people and another set for the rest of us.

Even executives of the largest companies are not immune from the rules of conduct of the business. Yet our leaders in congress and the rest of our representatives seem to be immune. Some kind of protest against this really needs to be raised.

Obama Birth Certificate a Forgery Media has Nothing to Say

For some unknown reason even when it comes from a law enforcement agent proposing the most astounding revelation that our president has gotten his office by forgery, none of the media is even concerned to report the fact that he said it. If he made some remark about the president’s skin color it would be on the news for days. If he said he proved the birth certificate was definitely genuine It would be on the news for days. If he said something about the Christians being opposed to Obama and even having proof of it, it would be news for days, but here he is declaring that the president has no right to hold his office and it isn’t even reported or given a second look.

For some unexplainable reason this particular area regarding our president has been completely off limits by all the media including Fox News. No matter what evidence or logic is presented the media couldn’t be bothered with it. I can only think it is one of three things. Either they secretly believe it is forged and are ashamed to admit they never vetted him, they really do believe that his birth certificate and other information do prove he’s a natural born citizen and genuine, or they are in collusion with the president to cover up this deception. If it is none of these then it is a case of the emperor’s invisible clothes. They have been cowed into silence because after all everyone else believes it and who wants to look foolish about questioning something so obvious.

No matter how you look at it, it makes the media irresponsible.

The level of irresponsibility and cowardice of the American media has even caught the attention of Pravda. Even they wouldn’t dare be so overt about their propaganda. They know that if you go too far overboard it becomes obvious everything you’re printing is a lie or a cover-up at which point it doesn’t serve the purpose that propaganda is designed for.

When the truth about this finally comes out that even law enforcement officials looked into the issue and that other law enforcement groups looked the other way as well as judges and the . He is not challentire media and thus pulled off the greatest scam on the American people which eventually brought our nation to economic and political disaster it will be the sort of story that will be looked at for centuries, should the earth continue that long.

We are watching the destruction of America by a man who became president and most likely doesn’t qualify and by judges and representatives who refuse to look into it. If it proves true that the birth certificate is a forgery, and the truth of that will come out, it will cause a great constitutional crisis, but that won’t change all the damage that’s been done by this president. He is spending our nation into destruction, he is also doing everything he can to weaken our nation as far as reputation and military are concerned.

This is a president who can say exactly what the American people want to hear, then turn around and do the exact opposite almost every time and still nothing is said about that. If he is asked they simply accept whatever answer he gives them and it ends there.

There is NO QUESTIONING this president. He is not challenged on a single thing. He is never criticized or belittled. The Sheeple of the United States seem all too willing to do nothing about him no matter how egregious the offence. This is a man who has violated the constitution and demonstrated his contempt for it and yet the congress and those set in place as checks and balances do nothing to check him on his continuous power grabs.

Why has there been no impeachment process started against Obama. He has moved for more things that are unconstitutional and even anti American. He has on more than one occasion done everything he can to give aid and comfort to our enemies. He’s done everything he can to protect the “constitutional rights” of the prisoners in Guantanamo. They do not have constitutional rights, they are not citizens of the United States, but worse they are our enemies and have proven themselves enemy combatants. This is not to say that we should not treat them humanely, but it also doesn’t mean they should be presumed innocent till proven guilty.

Our president praises our enemies. He apologizes for soldiers burning a Koran that had secret messages in it. Yet the act of it having any writing in it other than the words of the Koran itself makes that particular book defiled and the only way to dispose of it is by burning it. Yet Obama not only doesn’t point that out or defend what the soldiers did, but he apologizes to the Muslims, and then vows to go after the soldiers as though they committed some war crime deserving of Jail. They did not break a single law. They did not treat anyone inhumanely. All they did was offend the Muslims. The last time I checked that wasn’t against the law. No matter what you may think it is NOT AGAINST THE LAW!

This president is out of control. He seems to think he has unbridled power and from the way the congress does nothing to even threaten impeachment or rein him in it seems he may have unbridled power.

This really needs to stop and we need to get the balance of power back. As stated at the beginning there is good evidence now that Obama has at the least committed forgery or at least fraud, both of which are high crimes and would call for his impeachment. Where are the people that have at least some guts to stand up to this man who continues to grab power for himself which he has no right to?

Congressional Leaders, Intimidators of the American People

It seems to be increasing clear that our congress people are little more than intimidaters of the American people, but otherwise they are without power. As in my previous article we see that people generally can be considered cowards or bullies when the only people they go after strongly are the people they can intimidate.

We need only look at the Holder situation. He and the Obama administration has continued to stonewall the congress and they continue to behave as though there’s nothing they can do about it. Oh they continue to say they are going to get to the bottom of it, but they are like toothless, clawless lions. They make a lot of noise, but the Obama administration recognizes that they are largely irrelevant. They are more than happy to be bold and domineering with the American people when it comes to passing more and more regulations that stifle our freedoms, but they seem powerless dealing with any of their equals in Washington and it is clear that the Obama administration recognizes this.

Holder should have been gone a long time ago. 30 years ago if a man had been involved with something like fast and furious as the attorney general he would have simply stepped down rather than continue to embarrass as well as possibly bring down the sitting president, but now they are bold as brass and don’t mind sticking to their guns. We have seen this with various representatives who have been caught in various illicit relationships or showing their private parts on the internet.

We are constantly told that we should not look at their personal lives and that those things should not make any difference and as a result many of these man do all they can to stay in their positions. There are few calls for resignation and even fewer actual resignations till these people are absolutely forced to resign and even then those that force them to do it seem almost as demonized as the one who committed the offense.

When are these people going to actually be called to answer for what they’re doing to the American people? When are we going to start holding our representatives responsible?

We have come to expect so readily that our leaders are slimy liars who will say whatever they need to say just to get elected and then will frequently do something quite different. When will we find men and women that don’t feel that morality and ethics are dirty words? Currently many of the men and women we have as representatives snicker at the such terms and it is well past time that we made them feel ashamed of doing so instead of allowing them to make us ashamed.

A long time ago I worked at a juvenile hall and found that it was common place for both staff and kids to raz you if you had not had sex even though you weren’t married, but I rapidly found they had no response when you told them that you were not ashamed for doing what was right and that it was they who should be ashamed for doing what was truly shameful. You could see the shame on their faces as soon as you said that. We need to have the courage of our convictions and stop backing down when shameful people with shameful actions try to  make us feel ashamed for doing that which is right.

We need to show more guts to stand up for what we believe than our current leaders are willing to do. It is little wonder that we have leaders of such low moral character; after all we tend to pick people to lead us who are much like we are. People do not ever want to be told they're doing the wrong thing or even worse that they're being immoral. It is in large part for this reason that our current society is so busy trying to redefine morality. Rather than change their behavior they simply redefine what morality means and feel that by doing this they are no longer being immoral.

The world is turning upside down and yet we find nothing but spineless people who are unwilling to address the issues and deal with them firmly in the way they really need to. We have spineless people as our representatives because they come out of a society of spineless people. Where will we find people of true character? It seems only obvious that you will only find people of character in a society that shows at least some esteem for those who are people of character.
