King Obama by Executive Order

It amazes me how our congress seems to have abandoned the constitution in favor of a king. Though I say this jokingly I have to wonder if it's only because the idea hasn't occurred to him; I keep waiting for an executive order declaring that Obama will now be addressed as "Your Majesty". I suppose that would be inappropriate though knowing his communist and socialist leanings it would probably be more likely to be Comrade Obama, but then that doesn't roll off the tongue quite the same, nor does it match his narcissistic tendencies.

Our nation is probably in deeper trouble then it has ever been before. I'm sure the progressive (read communist) factions of politics and the media will be happy to label such people as myself as an alarmist. After all it's not like Obama has basically rewritten various parts of ObamaCare on a whim with the stroke of a pen and an executive order. It's not like he completely set aside the congress with executive orders for immigration. It's not like he set aside the need to have congress confirm appointees when they're in session, It's not like he decided to go to war in Libya with no congressional approval. It's not like he's plainly stated on more than one occasion that if congress doesn't act he'll just do it without them, because he has a pen!

The unbridled overreach of presidential power with not the slightest push back from congress ought to concern and even frighten every American. The fact that our representatives are not defending the constitution they swore to defend ought to frighten us. Are our representatives the least bit afraid they will pay any penalty at all at the ballot box? I don't believe they are the least bit concerned. They all know that 95% of them are re-elected to office over and over no matter what kind of job they do.

For some odd reason the American people are petrified of getting rid of these people. Yet if you asked almost anyone that voted for the representative now in office, what they had done that was so great we should have them back, I would be willing to bet no one person could tell you even one thing.

They have regulated our private property away, between EPA regulation, local regulations, the requirements for permits to do almost anything on your own property without government approval, and of course the need to pay the government rent (property tax) or they'll evict, all amounts to you don't own your own property you live on it by the will of the government and it can be taken at any time.

Obama now acts as a king and the congress as his viceroys. We have all been willing to put up with these abuses of power because the media and our representatives have been so skillful at selling the idea that what they are doing is for our own safety and welfare. This is how freedom has been lost every time in history.

The list of presidential constitutional abuses listed above is a very short list. Americans seem to have Alzheimer's when it comes to the behavior of the president and the congress. Of course the media helps with this short term memory, but that is no excuse for us not to be aware of the grievous offenses of our president and representatives.

Freedom of speech, freedom of the press? What about the man who was falsely accused of being the cause of Benghazi with a video when it wasn't true. Even if his video had outraged the Muslims, this too is a canard. Muslims kill people because someone makes fun of their religion and it's not they who are judged but the one that made fun of them. Would this ever be excused if it were Christians killing people because someone made fun of Jesus?

Obama and the viceroys of the administration determined that man was guilty and even though it's been proven that his video had nothing to do with Benghazi he still languishes in jail. It amounts to nothing more than being a scapegoat and a political prisoner! We can expect a lot more of this from our king and his viceroys if something isn't done soon.

Any one of the constitutional violations listed above should be more than enough to impeach a president, but his viceroys behave as though nothing short of mass murder would qualify for impeachment and if it comes to that they would certainly  be afraid to speak out, and it is for this reason that I say we are in deep trouble in this nation.
