Democrat, Socialist Progressives Finally Have What They Want

Something that never occurred them before as having any hope of ultimate power has been handed to them on a silver platter by Justice Roberts.

It sounds like he made his change of mind as a rather last minute thing and as a result what he wrote for his reasoning has flung the doors wide open for government control of every sort.

Now all our government has to do is pass a law that people will be taxed unless they do what they are told and poof they have the power to do that according to Chief Justice Roberts. It will certainly not be long before this occurs to them and we see every manner of law enacted against the people. Because it’s a tax you won’t even have recourse to the Supreme Court until it’s in place and we all know that once something like that is in place it will never go away, that is the way of taxes. No doubt this will go down as the lasts nail in the coffin of the American Democratic Republic experiment.

Most people don’t know that we just stopped paying the tax for the war of 1812 only a few years ago. We’ve been paying a tax for that war for almost 200 years. This is the absurdity that is our government.

Because the Supreme Court and most judges revere precedent over the constitution what Justice Roberts has done will continue to haunt us for many years to come especially since he isn’t likely to backtrack on what he did and he won’t be gone for a long time.

The liberals on the court as well as our democrats/socialist/progressive representatives must just be dancing in that they got not only Obamacare, but far more power than they ever dreamed the Supreme Court would hand them.

The crazy thing is that Justice Roberts felt it violated the commerce clause but not the tax clause so he upheld it. The last time I check if something met one clause but not another that meant it should be struck down.

Because it didn’t violate the Second Amendment or the First does not mean it is constitutional. Not only did Justice Roberts open whole new realms of control for the government but he essentially did say it meets the commerce clause otherwise it would have been struck down on that basis.

It is not the Justices responsibility to make sure the American people like them, it is their responsibility to make sure they are upholding and defending the constitution. Did they do this? No they didn’t.

If the leaders we vote into office are anything less than honorable people truly committed to the constitution we are in for some very deep trouble. I wonder if the American people are really ready for what is coming. Even getting rid of Obama care won’t matter in the long run with the door that Justice Roberts has now opened. Whether he did it knowingly or unknowingly really doesn’t matter it’s done now and reversing that is going to be particularly difficult.
