Obama Cover-ups and Lies

AS more information comes out regarding the attack on Bengazi we are finding that the administration did know what happened and why. They were warned ahead of time and were told that more security was needed. They made the decision at the highest levels to ignore those requests even though they knew it would endanger our ambassadors. They purposely tried to deceive the American people about the cause. They knew it had nothing to do with “the video”. My guess is they didn’t even know of a specific video. There are dozens on the net. You only need to do a search on Mohammad in youtube.com and you will find dozens. They left it up to the rest of us to find “a” video and then assume that was the one.
After trying to lay this trap some average reporting, and I say this because if it were real investigative reporting there would have been a lot more information a lot sooner, started to find there was more to the story than we were first being told. The White House changed their story when they could no longer continue to lie about the reason because even the media knew a video had nothing to do with what happened.

Even after this the president couldn’t help but put this forward as a reason when he gave his speech at the U.N. All of this is only going from bad to worse as more information comes out. The truly said part is that it seems there is little doubt that either the president or one of his slimy aids like Valerie Jarrett told him to do this so it could become some kind of issue against the Christians. After all they have been going after the Christians almost every opportunity they get. Even though this ought to be something they can track down it is doubtful they will ever follow it all the way to the president. There is not one media company out there that wants to or is willing to get directly confrontational with Obama on anything. No matter how much information they have to follow to go after him they are still unwilling to draw the conclusions that data clearly points to.

It would seem you almost never hear of “hard hitting news” anymore. Now it is all about fair and balanced. Why tell the story straightforwardly for what it is when you can always present the twist the other side puts on it. Clearly we don’t have all the information and the media can’t seem t bother with finding the actual information so they just put on pundits and representatives to tell us their side of some issue with no real information or facts with which we can make an informed decision about who is telling us the truth. At that point it just comes down to believing what you want of what a representative says.

Oh yes the congress is going to do an investigation… These investigations take an entire term to complete and usually come to nothing even though they know for sure what has happened and who did or said what.

It never ceases to amaze how long it takes to get anything done in Congress. There is a clear cover-up by the administration concerning Libya and yet it will doubtless take them till long after the election to get anything done even with all the clear evidence they have. It is more like it is a game to them then like it is 4 high level officials and Americans who are dead at the hands of terrorists. Do they not count because it wasn’t at least 3,000 people like in the Twin Towers?

This is something that should not take years, any more than the situation with “Fast and Furious” should take more than a year to get the information they want. Aren’t they congress, what could possibly be something they are not allowed to look at? Sometimes my level of frustration with those who supposedly represent us in congress and the administration rises to such a level that I wonder honestly how we ever elected these people to office and why we continue to elect them office even after they’ve demonstrated so clearly their inability to either get at the truth or even recognize it.

I have little doubt that any real information about the Libyan cover-up will come out before it is too late. This is something we have a right to know about quickly, but again our leaders are aware what short attention spans both we and the news have. Rather than actually pursue something to a point a resolution they are more than content to simply report it for the few days it’s good for and move on to something else. Likewise the congress is also more than happy to let things go on for long periods of time with no progress till it becomes politically expedient to behave as though some new thing has come up and then turn right around and behave as though they can’t get any information because someone isn’t willing to give any information. Consider for a moment that it took them more than a year to hold Holder in contempt of court only to have it completely undone by a simple executive order. Obama and the congress treat his executive orders as though they were royal decrees about which they can’t do anything.

In some senses Obama is right about the congress being a do nothing congress, but then I’m sure he’s quite glad of that with the “Fast and Furious” issue as well as the Libyan cover-up occurring just before the election. He is more than happy at this point that they can’t get anything done.
