Money or Control?

Our wonderful government leaders keep talking about how they expect to get the money back from the banks they're giving all the TARP money too, but now we are seeing that was not their intention at all. Once it became known that anyone who accepted this money would essentially have the government running their business those banks who accepted the money to start with decided to return it to regain their sovereignty. Now it turns out the government doesn't want the money back. They prefer to have control over the banks directly rather than just through legislation or regulation. In order to maintain this control they can't take the money back or they have to relinquish their control. so what does the government decide to do? Do they decide to take the money back and give it to people who can use it more or do they decide to refuse the money and keep the control they've been seeking so long? You guessed it. They've decided to refuse to take the money back and keep control of those institutions that have accepted the money.

Our government has decided they can run banks and auto producers better than the private sector and so they are taking control. Accept even a single dollar of government money and they feel they have the right to rule your life. It is almost as though they feel the money is theirs! They took it from us without asking and now expect anyone who accepts OUR money to answer to THEM! Am I the only one that can see how crazy this is?
