If republicans don't think they'll get the blame by both the democrats and the Americans for the debt they're kidding themselves. The democrats didn't offer anything and they'll make that a point and say this was all republicans.
Sometimes you have to wonder just how stupid the republican elite are?
And of course they'll say the every typical: "We had to do something because it was a crisis!"
I hate the crisis mentality our nation has come to. Didn't they know this was coming a long time off.
All republicans can say is that the president didn't get tax increases. The reality is that he got an OK for all the more than another trillion dollars in spending immediately with cuts promised over 10 years that will never materialize.
These people who just want to keep spending have got to go, both republicans and democrats. If the democrats wouldn't give in to cut spending under this situation what makes anyone think they'll give in when the pressure is off?
